“Karen did a great job and our boy was very happy. Our home was clean and all was good I was a nervous per Mom as we had not left our puppy with many people yet. Karen did a wonderful job and we are all very happy.”

“First time we have ever left our dogs overnight that we returned to happy, relaxed puppers. They obviously loved hanging out with Angela. She kept me updated on the situation at the house and I found it immaculate when I returned. Angela didn't move a single item out of place and things were kept just as clean as when I left. I can't recommend Angela enough. She is a rare find.”

“Skylar did a wonderful job taking care of our pups and our house while we were gone for almost two weeks! She came for a meet and greet a few weeks before the trip so that our dogs would recognize her. She also sent a few updates with photos while we were gone and I could tell that the dogs were super relaxed. She left our house in great shape and our dogs appear to be happy/healthy. Unfortunately we’re about to move, but if we were staying in Knoxville we would 100% hire her again.”

About: I truly loved working as a vet tech for 7 years total but after our 3rd baby was born, staying home for the kids was the best plan for our family. However, I badly miss my canine clients and their parents so much so that when I discovered Rover.com, I just knew this would be a great opportunity for me to get my "doggie fix"as well as give the pet parents the reassurance that their fur kids are in great hands. I am qualified and very capable of providing the kind of care that I would love my own kids, both 2-legged and 4-legged, to receive in my absence. Any and all animals in my care most definitely will benefit as I will do what is necessary to keep them safe and sound, just as I do with my own critters. It's a win-win situation! I'd also like to mention that I've become extremely coyote-conscious and feel very confident in my ability to deter any danger that could possibly be encountered with all animals in my care. I will guard these beloved kiddos with my own life. This I promise with my deepest sincerity! Everyone that knows me or is familiar with my household knows that we are all HUGE animal lovers!!! Some folks may be delighted to learn that my capabilities are not narrowed down to only dogs and cats either...we have had or currently have a variety of species including an iguana, bearded dragons, a chameleon, a tegu lizard, cats, ferrets, rats, mice, hamsters, a guinea pig and a desert tortoises. I also volunteer on Thursday's down at the Wetlands and Wildlife Care Center and am the proud foster mommy to a number of orphaned baby possums that would not survive without human help otherwise. Once they meet all requirements that ensure their greatest chance of survival, they are released back into the wild ☺️ I am a homebody, to say the least. It’s my happy place for sure. When I do leave it’s for only a short increments of time, like taking to or picking up kids from school or to a dog walk or drop-in pet care jobs. These are usually under an hour or if I’ve got back to back jobs, I’m gone no longer than 2 hours 🥰 Each dog has their own personality, as well as behaviors. I adjust according to that. Some dogs will need to be kept in a smaller area of our three level home. In that case I can close doors and have a bunch of baby gates to keep safety a top priority. Other dogs may require bigger areas. For those, I usually just put a gate up at bottom of stairs to prevent a pup from going upstairs to the floor we’ve given to our cats and rats (caged). That’s where the cat food and litter boxes are also. But the second floor consists of a family room/office area. As well as a kitchen and 1/2 bathroom and very large living room and dining room. The more free spirited or larger breed pups have the entire floor to hang out and play or nap or be with us humans since it’s where you’ll find me and whoever else might also be home 😊

“Haley was very accommodating and so good to my babies. She was sure to send pictures and make sure they had the best care possible. I appreciated her and will book her again ?”

“Kacy is an incredible dog sitter. I really felt like my pups were loved as if they were her own while we were gone. I felt totally secure with her watching my babies. I would not hesitate to recommend her or use her again!”

“Thank you Laine for watching Rizzo. Have a good semester back at school Julie”

About: My extensive experience which includes 5 years of experience with puppies and senior pets, combined with a deep love for animals, ensures exceptional care for your furry friends. As a college senior, I’ve learned to manage a structured and flexible routine that allows me to prioritize pet care. I plan my classes and responsibilities around giving my dog, Poppy, the attention, walks, and playtime she needs—and I’ll do the same for your pet! I enjoy starting and ending my day with walks or cuddle time, and I build in breaks throughout the day that work perfectly for feeding, potty breaks, and play. Whether I’m watching your pet for a few hours or a few days, I make sure they receive consistent care and love as part of my regular schedule. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or theirs, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and comforting as possible. In my home, your pet will be treated like family! I have a sweet two-year-old dachshund named Poppy who loves having a buddy to play or relax with. I make sure all pets have a safe, clean space, regular potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of affection. If I’m in your home, I’ll follow your care instructions closely—feeding, walks, medications, and any other routines—while keeping your pet calm and happy in their own environment. I always send photo updates and communicate often so you know your pet is in loving hands!

“Jade was absolutely wonderful with Luna! Jade communicated regularly and sent photos which put my mind at ease while I was away. Luna looked so happy and well taken care of when we returned, and I could tell they had a great time together. I truly appreciated the extra touches Jade took, like spending extra time with her, letting her live in her Queen Victorian Fantasy era while watching movies, leaving a gift for me, and so much more. She also took great care of our home. I highly recommend Jade and will definitely book with her again! Thank you Jade!!!”

About: I've grown up with Labs and have been around dogs my whole life. I've cared for all kinds of pups and kitties—young, old, playful, shy! Friends and family have trusted me for years to look after their dogs, and I treat every one like my own. Whether it's walks, cuddles, or just keeping them company, I'm here to help! I’m a PT student at LMU, so I keep a pretty full but adaptable schedule. That said, I’m usually available most afternoons after 5 and have lots of flexibility on weekends. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine—I love winding down with walks, playtime, or just hanging out with a furry friend! Wherever I’m caring for pets, I do my best to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow your instructions appropriately—whether it’s feeding schedules, walks, meds, or cuddle preferences! I make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and love so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away.

“Jataelynn is an awesome pet sitter! She went above and beyond to watch my cat Alfred while I was away for a week. She was quick to respond to messages and sent frequent updates. I would highly recommend her!”

About: I am a veterinary student at UTCVM. I got my first dog at the age of 10, so I have been actively caring for pets for more than half of my life. I have worked with dogs and cats in a clinic setting the last 4 years. I have actively pet sat since I was 12 for local people in my neighborhood. I love puppies and I have a lot of experience caring for geriatric patients who need that extra care at home! I am currently in the middle of vet school so I am busy mostly during the week, but I am available on weekends! I am also available on Fridays usually and I am willing to work with you to see if your pet needs any additional care or time! During winter, summer and other week long breaks I am 100% available! I can easily crate your dog if needed and make sure that they have everything they need while their owner is away. It’s important to make sure both the environment and the animal is safe when no one is around and to make the area as pet friendly as possible.

“The animals seemed to love their time with Molly! She gave us a lot of updates, so we appreciated knowing how the furballs we're doing. Highly recommend!!!”

“Ronelle did a great job taking care of both our dogs (ones 14 years old and the other is a puppy). She was so responsive and communicative that I had no worries. Our house was also in perfect order when we returned. I would definitely recommend her and hope to use her again in the future!”

Jaylon was so easy to work with! She came and met our dogs who immediately warmed up to her. During her overnight stay she kept me updated and left our house clean. We would absolutely use her again! Our pups loved her!

This is our second time having Olivia watch our fur babies. She is amazing with our boys and leaves to house squeaky clean. We look forward to having Olivia housesit for us again!

Olivia housesat Junie when we needed someone last minute. Junie loved her immediately at the meet and greet and I know she was well cared for. Thank you!

Jaylon did an outstanding job watching Bear! She followed all of our instructions perfectly and went above and beyond to make sure he was well taken care of. We felt completely at ease knowing Bear was in her care, and we appreciated the updates throughout the weekend. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible and attentive dog sitter!
