About: I have cared for cats and dogs my entire life! My family had multiple pets at all times growing up. I am a cat mom myself with shared custody with my twin sister. I offer a pet stranger free home with my own cats staying with my sister while I have guest pets. 🐈 I first began pet sitting in college and primarily serviced young adults and college students. Thus, I have always offered an affordable rate so that regular people can obtain pet sitting services without having to pay expensive boarding fees. 🐶 Although I just started using Rover, I have been sitting for years through friends, family, and referrals! I can provide references for those I have serviced in the past that have not been through the app. 🐈 I am a former President, Vice President, and class representative of the Animal Legal Defense Fund at the University of Tennessee College of Law. I am available any day of the week for boarding. 🐈 Currently, I am not accepting bookings over 2 months in advance. 🐈 For drop in visits and walks, I am available Mon-Fri between 7:30-8:30 a.m., 11:30-1:30 p.m., and after 6 p.m. Available all day Saturday and Sunday beginning 9 a.m. 🐶 Drop off and pickups must occur between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. 🐈 Meet and greets must occur in the evening and are offered at Sutree Landing Park. Your pets become mine for a few days! I would care for them as if they were my own. I let pets staying in my home on the furniture and sleep in my bed. If you would like pictures of my home to see where your pet would be staying, feel free to ask! My personal pets vacate my home and stay with their other parent while I am sitting to eliminate conflicts with guest pets. 🐈 I send as many pictures as you want and I am available by text all day.

My biggest issue with conventional boarding facilities was that no one seemed to be able to give Rocky his medications correctly, but Kristy has been on top of it. She communicates well, sends pictures, and updates frequently. Rocky is an anxious dog and can be very particular about his space, but Kristy didn’t have any issues with this and knows dog behavior well. As long as she’s available I’ll book in the future!”

About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life, from farm animals to household pets, including seniors and puppies/kittens. I’ve been a foster with Young-Williams Animal Center since 2019 and love providing a safe, happy home for animals who make our lives richer and more loving. I currently work an 8:30 AM–5:00 PM job with a one-hour lunch break and live just five minutes from the office. I also work remotely on Mondays and Fridays, which gives me added flexibility. I have a spare bedroom in my condo, and the space I provide depends on the animal’s size. For kittens, I often use the spare bathroom, keeping them warm with food, water, and a litter box nearby. For dogs, I set up their pen in the spare room with all their supplies. I also have a large fenced-in back patio where dogs can go outside, play, and run safely.

About: We are a dog-loving family of 3 that will care for your pups like they were our own (which means lots of love)! Also, we have a great property for pet care, so your dog(s) will feel like they're on their own private doggie get-away vacation! My husband works from home and I homeschool my 14-year-old son on the weekdays, so one of us is always around the home to care for your pets! We have a large solarium with big windows attached to the front of our house, which we use as a doggy room - out two friendly dogs love hanging out in here and often chill and nap on the staircase platforms, barking at squirrels and what not, observing the front yard's happenings. It is their safe place. It has an attached doggy door which leads outside to a secure, fenced in area.

About: Hi there! I’m Ansley. I live in South Knoxville and work in animal science. I have over 10 years of experience caring for other people’s animals, and nearly 22 years of caring for my own pets. I worked in both small and large animal vet clinics as a veterinary assistant, so I’m comfortable giving medications and treating ill or elderly pets. I have two Labrador retrievers (6 years old and 6 months old) and a Manx cat that needs extra attention due to some health issues. About: Specifically I understand the needs of French Bulldogs in certain weather conditions. I also understand other short legged friends that need accommodations and have restrictions such as jumping off furniture or when playing not throwing things too high. I run my own business but have a flexible schedule. I am also a grad student who is about to graduate and will open more time in my schedule. Currently I am available various times during the week with a lot of availability on the weekends. My pup has accommodations in every room of the house. I've had a dog the majority of my life, starting with a Visla, mixed breed bulldog, and a black labrador retriever in our house when I was a child. I have owned two mixed american staffordshire terriers and a golden retriever myself. When I write it all down, it seems like a lot. I've cared for them as puppies, through life, surgeries, and health, and at the end of life. I am gentle and let dogs interact with me on their terms. I am open to caring for all types of dogs. About: I have always had a cat or dog in my life that I have always cared for. I have also cared for friends and families pets and I sincerely treat them as my own. Anyone’s pet or my pet is the most important thing to me aside from church, my friends and family. I work full time in a critical care unit working three twelve hour shifts. The other four days I am available mornings, afternoons and evenings. The three days I work, I am available after 7 pm. Every cat that I have had, I strictly keep indoors for safety purposes. Water and food is always available along with clean cat litter and cozy spaces for my cat to snuggle. My dogs, are inside and crated when I am not home. They have comfy beds, water and food. They are active with swimming, running and tagging along when I am outdoors.

I worked in both small and large animal vet clinics as a veterinary assistant, so I’m comfortable giving medications and treating ill or elderly pets. During sits my wife tends to join me. She’s also very experienced with animals and has farm and exotic animal experience. If this is something you are not comfortable with, I am happy to adjust this. I am taking some time to start my own business with my wife. So there’s plenty of time and attention to go around. Most of my work can be scheduled around Rover. If I am housesitting however I may have to leave for a few hours at a time but usually no longer than 3 or 4 so that your pet gets the maximum amount of attention possible.
