About: I have not only had dogs of my own, I also have 10 years experience in dog sitting. I am happy to take them on up to four walks a day and to the dog park if that is your preference. I will make sure to enforce any train/rules you want me to follow. I’m a part time teacher so the longest I am gone most days is 4 hour increments. I am available for boarding, walks, and play time all week! I am a part time teacher so I work from 8-12 on weekdays, leaving me plenty of time to offer your pet care and attention. I will always stick to the training, rules, and routines you have set up for your animals. I have plenty of time for animals that may require more attention, and no animals of my own in the home.

“Catherine was wonderful! It was such a last minute booking, but she responded so quickly. It was a genuine relief to have her come and look after my dog and cat on such short notice. Both my dog and cat are of geriatric age and have differing needs with both having different medical conditions. She listened to our concerns and took our pet care instructions seriously. She comforted my dog who has severe separation anxiety and somehow managed to persuade my cat with princess-like standards to eat her entire can of cat food. Throughout the night, she responded quickly and sent pictures and updates. I would definitely book with her again the next time I am traveling with my pets in the Knoxville or Gatlinburg region.”

I work from home, so I have a very flexible schedule and can usually accommodate different routines, potty schedules, walks, and drop-off/pick-up times. I currently live full-time in an RV in a quiet campground setting - and yes, I know that probably sounds unexpected at first (e) — but it's actually a calm, nature-filled environment with a fully fenced-in yard and lots of supervised outdoor time. Pets are welcome to relax wherever they're most comfortable, whether that's on the couch, on my bed, in a dog bed, outside in the fenced yard, or even lounging outside with me on the lawn chairs getting fresh air. I work from home, so pets get lots of supervision, companionship, potty breaks, outdoor time, and interaction throughout the day.

We currently share this Rover account, though most dog walking and drop-in visits will be handled by me, T.J. I’ve had dogs my entire life and genuinely consider them my favorite thing in the world. We’re proud parents to three of the best boys ever: Ted, a 9-year-old Shih Tzu & Bichon Frise mix with the sweetest personality Banjo, a 12-year-old Sheltie mix who’s calm, loyal, and wise Otis, our newest addition — a 24-week-old Beagle & Jack Russell Terrier mix who is currently stealing our hearts (and socks) Because Otis is still very young, we are not offering boarding at this time while we focus on house training, routines, and helping him grow into a well-mannered pup. Once he’s fully trained and settled, we’ll happily open our home to boarding other dogs in the future.
