“Lauren, watched our cats for 10 days and was magnificent! She is communicative and able to adapt to any issues that arise. We will most definitely be requesting her services again in the future. Highly recommend if you want an exemplary professional!”

“Lauren watched our cat this weekend and did a wonderful job! Our cat absolutely loved her so we will definitely be hiring her again. Lauren is very responsible, great at communicating, and sends photos of our sweet boy at every visit! Highly recommended!”

“Courtney is absolutely fabulous!! We adore her. Teddy, our golden doodle puppy, was quite a handful at 4 months old when she started with us. He loved her from the start and she has been so patient with all of his puppy antics and sharp little teeth! It has given us so much peace of mind to have her caring as much about our little guy as we do. Wait until you hear about her foster work at home as well! She is just an all-around great person and animal lover. 6 out of 5 stars! We highly recommend!!!”

“Wow, Veronica was super with my two cats! One is behaviorally challenged and the other is usually quite shy. But Veronica is a cat whisperer because they both opened up to her easily. She made me feel very comfortable leaving them in her care. She gave informative reports and took time to play with the cats, clean their litter boxes and bowls, etc. I’d definitely use her again as a cat sitter and recommend her without hesitation. She’s a cat lover and will love your cats! I feel lucky to have connected with her!”

“Julie was AMAZING with my dog!! I booked her for drop in visits with my 2 year old lab mix and she was incredible with him. She was super communicative throughout the entire process from the meet and greet through the actual visits. And she took lots of adorable pictures of my pup!! Julie was attentive with the details I left about him and made sure to give him lots of love throughout her visits. I’d recommend her to literally anyone who is looking for a sitter!!”

“This is my second time having Megan take care of the kitties, and unsurprisingly she was great! We had a bit of a hiccup with my apartment office not communicating the new door code to me, but she was very patient and understanding about it, even staying outside for 30 minutes in hopes that someone would let her in. She’s very reliable and easy to work with!”

“Ysalys is wonderful! My pack of dogs can be a handful and they immediately took to her. She was punctual and took great care of them which really put my mind at ease! I look forward to using her in the future”

“Hila helped us out so much and was willing and available to check-in on Lucia last minute for us. She did a great job with Lucia and we will definitely utilize her help in the future!”
About: If you’re looking for someone to adore your pet and build special trust with them then I am here! I am a lifelong animal lover. I have cared for close friends’ animals for years, as well as housesat for coworkers. I currently have one cat who has been with me for 8 years. My former roommate has an Australian cattle dog and I would often take care of him when she was gone! I also frequently house and dogsat for another friend with a lovely black lab mix and energetic dachshund. Plenty of experience taking care of cats as well. No matter the situation I look forward to meeting your babies and putting your worries at ease while you’re away I am working part time in healthcare Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I work 9-6 pm and am available for early morning and evening walks and check ins. On my off days I will be dedicated to your babies and would enjoy getting outside with them too! I am happy to care for them in your home where they feel most comfortable! I am unable to house any additional pets in my home at this time
“Devin and Delisa took such good care of our puppies! They went above and beyond the given care instructions and went out of their way to provide extra care during an unprecedented heat wave!”

While I’m not a professional trainer, I’m attentive, patient, and happy to provide whatever extra care your pet may need. Whether that means accommodating mobility limitations, administering routine care, cleaning up accidents, or simply providing some extra love and attention, I want every pet to feel safe and comfortable while they are in my care. 🐾❤️ I’m a graduate student at the University of Tennessee, so my weekdays are generally busy with classes until noon. Feel free to reach out, even if you’re not sure my schedule will work, just ask! I do not currently have the means to care for pets in my own home, but I am able to meet your pets at home and provide care however necessary!
“Ms. Hayley is an absolutely amazing petsitter who goes above and beyond! We originally planned to have home visits for our cat, but when the freezing weather hit, Ms. Hayley voluntarily offered to host our cat in her home for no extra charge. We are incredibly thankful and will definitely be repeat clients the next time we travel! Our cat also loves her and has had a great deal of fun, as we can clearly see in the daily updates and photos.”

About: I've been the go-to for pet sitting since I was 9. Working alongside my Nanny mom and taking my own jobs with dogs as big as mastiffs and as small as chihuahua's. I love all pets, no matter how moody or sweet. I'm currently in school so I'll have plenty of time to play with your babies! I'm available for drop-ins before and after school and completely open on the weekend. I am very accommodating to any space, providing love and care for your baby wherever you may be at. I love playing outside with them or just cuddling up on the couch.
About: I have always been able to communicate and interact with animals much easier than i have with people, it comes more naturally to me. The first thing that my closest friends and family say when introducing me to anyone, especially if they have pets, is that i’m great with animals. it fits in perfectly, i work at part time job at a clothing store but my shifts are only typically four hours, and i get off work anytime between 4-6 so right around dinner time. i have an open yard that my dog can roam freely whenever we let her out, she tends to stay within 10 yards of our front doorstep so we do not keep her on a leash. however, should i be taking care of a dog and it does need to be on a leash when being let out, that is no problem at all.

Please take notice that I am am very hard of hearing and unable to take phone calls. My schedule is very flexible! At the moment, I’m unavailable on Sundays and Mondays, but I’m always willing to make exceptions. From Tuesday through Saturday, I’m available between 2 PM and 9 PM. I make sure every animal in my care feels safe, loved, and completely at home. My passion for animals runs deep, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. Five stars aren't enough! Denise always goes above and beyond and is my absolute go-to sitter. We recently left her with our brand-new puppy (plus our others) while we were completely off the grid with no cell service. She handled everything flawlessly/gave us total peace of mind. Highest recommendation!

I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for my two girls while I was away overseas! From the start, Hayley was kind, professional, and clearly experienced with cats. She sent me daily updates and photos, which helped me relax knowing my girls were happy, well-fed, and getting plenty of love. When I came home, everything was spotless—food bowls clean, litter boxes fresh, and two very content kitties waiting to greet me. It was clear they’d been well cared for and comfortable the entire time. I’ll absolutely be booking with her again the next time I travel. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, loving cat sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Wooded Acres. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
