About: I love dogs. i’ve had the pleasure of going through every moment of life with a furry companion. currently i have three dogs and two cats of my own, along with this i have been dog sitting/walking for family and friends these past two years. One of which being my uncles dog who is an amputee and requires a specific regiment. I look forward to utilizing my love for dogs to assist owners with carefree vacations not having to worry about dogs wreaking havoc on furniture or simply feeling alone. I’m currently attending online school so I will have unlimited flexibility. times i won’t be available might be the occasional family event or vacation but those are rarities. How i care for the pets is exactly as instructed by the owner, nothing less. For overnights, I usually tend to just spend the whole day at the house giving your dog love, play time and walks to ensure they get lots of attention and bathroom time. Upon return of the owner to the house everything will be exactly as they left it and if any messes are to be made by the dog they will be fully cleaned.
About: I've cared for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities, and I treat every pet like they're my own. I'm patient, reliable, and attentive to each pet's unique needs and routine. I provide regular updates, photos, and plenty of love and attention so pet parents can feel confident while they're away. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and happy in my care. I have a part time and only work 2-3days a week so I have an open schedule to do a lot of caring for your pet. I have a fenced yard and a dog at home that is playful with everyone.I will also follow each pet's regular routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and any special instructions provided by their owner.

“Sabrina was amazing with both our dogs and cat! We have an anxious lab who she gave extra love and attention to and worked with. We so appreciate her and will definitely be using her again in the future!”

About: I have a lifelong passion for animals and hands-on experience caring for them. I’ve volunteered in animal shelters, where I helped care for dogs and cats of all ages and temperaments. Having grown up with both dogs and cats my entire life, I understand their needs, personalities, and the importance of providing patient, loving, and reliable care. I am a morning person, who is in PA school 8am-5pm most days. I can do early morning, lunchtime, and dinner drop-ins during the week. I am free all day on the weekends. I provide attentive, personalized care in my home or my client’s home, always following each pet’s routine and specific needs. This includes feeding, fresh water, administering medications if needed, walks and playtime for dogs, enrichment and companionship for cats, and regular updates for owners. My goal is to keep pets comfortable, safe, and happy while maintaining the routine they know and trust.
“My cat, Ruby, was very well taken care of while I had to be out of town! She gets super anxious while I'm gone, but I could tell by the pictures Melissa sent that she was getting lots of love. I was also very pleased and surprised that Melissa had cleaned the cat food dishes and spoons! Very nice!”

“Elle took wonderful care of our cat Marbles while we were away! She provided great photos and updates and gave us peace of mind that our fur baby was while taken care of while we were away.”

“Tara did a great job being kind, consistent and patient with a difficult cat (and owners who knew nothing about the Rover experience). We’re so grateful she could work us in!”

About: I have been around dogs my whole life, long before my family ever adopted our own. We rescued our first dog when I was 7 and loved him up through his grey fur and blindness. I pride myself on understanding animals needs and boundaries. I am currently working a part-time job as well as pet sitting on Rover. I am available before 4pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and anytime on weekends! I will always leave a space better than a found it, no waste left behind. Animals will always be put first when under my care.
“Emma was absolutely fantastic! She really showed care while taking care of our cats! It was a huge relief knowing they were well taken care of while we were out of town for so long.”

“Veronica was an absolutely wonderful cat sitter, and I can’t recommend her enough! She took such great care of my cat while I was away, making sure everything was clean, comfortable, and stress-free. It was clear she genuinely cares about animals—she spent quality time giving attention and affection, not just stopping in to feed and leave. I really appreciated her communication as well. She kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind knowing my cat was happy and in good hands. When I came home, everything was exactly as it should be, and my cat was relaxed and well cared for. If you’re looking for someone reliable, trustworthy, and truly compassionate with animals, Veronica is the one. I will definitely be using her again!”

About: I’ve always been a huge animal lover, and as a Bernese Mountain Dog owner myself, I know just how important it is to leave your pet with someone you can truly trust. Having a big dog of my own also means I’m very comfortable caring for and handling larger breeds! I’m attentive, dependable, and will treat your pet like they’re my own. I’m happy to follow their normal routine, whether that means walks, playtime, meals, medications, or just lots of love and company while you’re away. I know every pet has their own personality, needs, and little quirks, and I’ll make sure they feel as comfortable and loved as possible. I’m also a big believer in keeping owners updated, so you can expect plenty of pictures and check-ins while your pet is with me! I am flexible to work around anyone’s schedule! I work from home so I won’t be restricted on time. I don’t mind to do early mornings! I love being able to care for pets in their own home, where they’re most comfortable and can stick to their normal routine. I’ll follow your instructions closely for feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medications, and any other special needs your pet may have. I’m respectful of each pet’s personality—whether they want lots of attention and cuddles or prefer a little more space while they get to know me. I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away, and I’ll always send pictures and updates so you know exactly how they’re doing!
“This is the second time Alexa has helped out with our dog, Major. She is great! She comes on time, quickly responds to messages, and is very loving with our dog. Highly recommend Alexa!”

“Lauren watched our cat this weekend and did a wonderful job! Our cat absolutely loved her so we will definitely be hiring her again. Lauren is very responsible, great at communicating, and sends photos of our sweet boy at every visit! Highly recommended!”

About: About Me: Hello! I’m Francisca, an experienced animal lover with over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for a variety of animals, including cats, dogs, and horses. I am a proud owner of a Basenji, so I’m familiar with the unique needs and personalities of different breeds. I genuinely love most animals and am passionate about ensuring their well-being, comfort, and happiness. What I Offer: With my extensive experience, I understand the importance of providing pets with the care, attention, and companionship they need when you’re not around. Whether it’s a long walk, a cuddle session, or just ensuring they’re safe and content, I’m here to make sure your pets feel at ease and loved in your absence. Let’s connect and see how I can help make your time away from home worry-free! I currently working during the week but weekends are mostly free so I go on long walks in the evening and frequently visit the dog park! I let them roam freely in my apartment as I’m not a big fan of caging animals or keeping them restricted areas. I have a large backyard in my apartment to let dogs room, free and a close by park for longer walks.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
