“Lucas was great! He was accommodating, kind, and Mia seemed super happy to have Lucas’s dog as a friend ❤️Also had a backyard where the dogs could run in and out of the house. Thanks!”

“Our Barton boy enjoyed every second of being there!! We received picture and video updates the whole time away and could really feel the love they poured into him. You can tell he misses his new friends so much already! 🖤”

“What a wonderful family! Her son absolutely adored my dog. They had a really fun time together, and we literally had to peel them apart at the end. My animals were very happy and we will definitely be seeing Annabelle again.”

“This was my first time using Rover and it was excellent. Very flexible and even came to pick up on campus during a Tennessee game – it let me take my little buddy with me for longer and then since it was a night game she watched him and he seemed very happy. Excellent job!”

“Thank you Vickie and Charlie for taking such good care of Trixie. We appreciated the pictures you sent us of Trixie while we were gone. You were always quick to respond and the pictures put us at ease. Trixie looked good and happy. We would not hesitate to have her stay with you again. Dianna and Jerry”

“Meredith and her partner are absolutely AMAZING. We are so glad we found them. We haven't left our dogs in over 2 years and decided to finally take a trip without the dogs, and I didn't worry at all. After our meet and greet, my husband and I said...."they speak dog" and they really do! They understand dog communication and their needs and are very attentive. They went above and beyond for our dogs, sent updates with photos, are very kind and reliable. We will absolutely hire them again over and over.”

“I cannot thank Becky enough for taking such great care of my girl! I have never left Baylee with anyone other than family so I was very nervous. Becky let me come over for a meet and greet, was very flexible with my schedule and kept me updated with pictures and videos all throughout the day. It was very apparent that Baylee felt comfortable and was happy to be at Becky’s house. Thank you SO much Becky for making this a great experience! Will definitely be using you again! ❤️”

“Somer did an amazing job looking after my 14-year-old beagle mix. It’s hard leaving a senior behind but Somer put my mind at ease. I’d recommend her to anyone and will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I've grown up around dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and rats, taking care of all, whether it's feeding, playing, or general care. Your pets are family and are in good hands, whether it's a sleepover, walk, or playtime with me and 11 year old German Shepard Husky Mix. I work full time, sometimes in the office and sometimes at home. So during the week, depending on location, I can do lunch time walks or after work walks or play. Weekends are prime times for sleepovers and long walks/playtime. Dog sitting in my house only - dogs are part of the family and will be in the house with me and my dog. They're welcome on furniture and throughtout the house. My dog has free reign of the house during the day. If they are crate trained, feel free to bring that, otherwise their own bed so they have comfort away from home. I have a large fenced-in yard for lots of outdoor playtime. Please let me know if there are any needs when overnight or when alone in the house. I can accommodate separate sleeping areas and crating if nnecessary. Dogs must be friendly with other, specifically big dogs.

About: I have hands on experience caring for dogs of all sizes and breeds through my work at a busy doggy daycare. I’m skilled in feeding, walking, administering medications, and providing plenty of love and attention. I understand dog behavior and safety, and I make sure every pet I care for feels happy, comfortable, and secure. From playtime and exercise to cuddles and companionship, I treat every dog like part of my own family. I’m an animal science major at UTK and a doggy daycare worker. I always have time for pups! I will make sure my availability is always up to date for you! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a secure apartment with a cozy space for indoor play and rest, and while my yard isn’t fenced, there’s a safe, dog-friendly park on property for walks and exercise. I provide a supervised, clean, and loving environment at all times, ensuring your dog feels happy, secure, and part of the family while in my care.
“Excellent experience. Highly recommend. After initial meeting with Viviana, we felt very comfortable leaving our puppy with her. Will definitely use again. 5 star!”

“Alba had a great time with Caillynn! Caillynn provided excellent care and playtime. She also sent photos and videos along with updates in Alba daily. We will definitely choose her again!”

“Yu very responsive to emails Daily pics, and/or videos Harley enjoyed his stay with Yu. There is a big fenced in backyard for Halrey, and Yu's 2 dogs to play in. My dog has been in the shelter several times, and I like that Harley was able to roam freely, and not spend a lot of time locked up in a kennel. Yu's home provides that, along with the benefit of only boarding one dog at a time. Yu was very responsive to any messages I sent, and sent daily messages, pics, and/or videos. When Harley needs a place to stay in the future, Yu will be my first choice.”

“Definitely my go to pet sitter for Dolly, my 3 month old Australian Shepherd. Dolly absolutely loves it there, and Jennifer sends the best pictures and videos. Her and her husband are absolutely awesome, and their dog is great with Dolly who is as energetic as they come. I won't even think about using anyone else now!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Ten Mile
Madison was absolutely amazing with both of our pups! She communicated with us every day, sent lots of pictures and updates, and was always quick to respond. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such great hands while we were away. She also went above and beyond when our flight was delayed and happily kept the dogs for an extra night, which took so much stress off of us. It was clear Lola and Lenny were well cared for, loved, and treated like part of the family. We are so grateful for everything she did and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. Highly recommend!

This is not the first time we’ve used Lori to watch our pup, and it certainly won’t be the last! You can tell Lori truly cares for the dogs she is watching, as evidenced by the happy smiles we see in the pictures Lori sends daily! Lori goes out of her way to make sure our dog is well taken care of and even goes the extra mile to help keep her well maintained. We will absolutely be using Lori again!

Meredith and John were outstanding care givers for my dog Archie. They were so attentive and sent me daily updates with lots of great pictures. He looked so happy playing with 2 other dogs about his same age and size. They have a wonderful setup; a very large fenced back yard, a smaller yard to separate dogs if needed, and offer walks in the woods which Archie absolutely loved! I wouldn’t hesitate to rebook with them the next time we leave town. 5 stars for sure!!

Absolutely 100% happy with her. She kept my large 96lb lab for 8 days and I got daily communication and pics! He was well cared for and a happy boy, which means the world to me. She handled him great! I was worried because she's petite and he's big and strong, but she did great! Will use her every time!

This is the 2nd time I’ve used Lucas to take care of my Ollie and very impressed! We’ve gone on vacation for a week at a time and felt very comfortable with him watching him! His husky is very energetic and was a good fit for our Aussie Doodle. Would def use again. Very communicative and appreciated that!

This was my first experience using Rover, and I feel like I found the pot of gold! Lisa and her husband were the absolute dream pet sitters. She was such a great communicator before and during their stay. We scheduled a meet and greet a few days before their stay, so both the dogs and I felt comfortable. While there, she sent multiple updates, pictures, and videos and went above and beyond in her caretaking. She took them on walks and let them explore her beautiful yard and play with her pup. After picking them up this afternoon, they have slept all day. That lets me know they played hard! Lisa, I can never thank you enough. I know Millie and Opal would love to come back to your house any time—especially to see their new friend Blue. Highly recommend!

This is the second time Daniel has watched my Charli . She loves him ! Daniel is really good at sending updates via pictures and videos. Charli always seems super happy in all pictures . Only time she seems not happy is when I go pick her up , she doesn’t not want to leave Daniel !

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
