“Jenny is amazing!! Not only she took such a good care of Matilda, but she kept me posted about how she was doing by sending videos and pictures of Matilda having a blast. That allowed us to enjoy our vacations knowing Matilda was in great hands. When we picked her up I could see how confortable Matilda was at her house and Jenny gave her a shower and she was looking sparkling clean. Thank you for absolutely everything!!”

“Will be using Kane again when my pup needs a sitter. My pup got to hangout with other dogs and I got pic updates on how he was doing while I was gone. 5/5 stars. Thanks Kane.”

About: I have two dogs, one is three and one is six months. I adore them and spoil them daily. My oldest has very high energy so I am used to getting the energy out! They love going swimming at the lake as well! I am currently in college, but I am available Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays to walk your dogs! I am also available to board your dog anytime! I am home pretty much all day everyday except for my hour class I have to attend Monday and Wednesday . I make sure they are comfortable and have a nice place to lay and have food and water at their access. If they need to go out, I’m on it!
“Jessica was great!! She was able to get us in on very short notice and Lexington had the best time! She sent us pictures each day which we loved. Thanks for taking such great care of him, will definitely keep you and your family in mind for next time!”

“Communication throughout boarding was excellent! We had a meet and greet prior to boarding that helped me feel more at ease with my doggo's well-being. There were several walks, photo updates, and time with other dogs playing. I'd book with Nicole and Dexter again, if their schedule allows during future trips!”

“Lucia was a perfect sitter for Tymber! She sent updates and pictures several times a day, and her sweet doggy Milo treated Tymber as if they had been friends forever. Tymber had lots of exercise and play time in her fenced in yard. Lucia’s husband was very loving and attentive as well. I know that my best friend was very safe and cared for during her stay, and I highly recommend Lucia as a sitter!”

“Our 100 pound Rhodesian Ridgeback is a big baby. He's a great dog and a great pet, but he's really a homeboy. Viviana's is the only place he gets excited to go, and Viviana's is the only place I'm comfortable leaving Jack. He loves to go there. Viviana sends pictures and videos everyday. We feel lucky to have found her to watch our boy. Viviana's the only one to watch Jack since we found her. Don't know what we do if we had to leave him somewhere else.”

“Here’s a warmer and more polished version: Sallie was the best sitter we’ve ever had on Rover! She kept us updated with plenty of pictures and thoughtful messages about how Yumi was doing, how she was eating, and even shared her favorite spots around her place. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing Yumi was in such caring hands. We highly recommend Sallie to anyone looking for an exceptional sitter. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of our baby!”

“We were a first timer with Rover and decided to select Becky W as our sitter who agreed to take care of them at our home. Becky did an outstanding job caring for our two sweet Lhasa Apsos! We are forever grateful for the communication, sending photos and providing updates including videos during her time with them. It gave us great relief feeling that they were being well cared for. Thank you Becky for making this experience a great one! It truly reduced the stress and helped us have even a better time knowing our babies were in great hands. We will be sure to reach out again when we need a sitter! Thank you so much and God bless.”

“Raven was amazing with our little Lola! She’s only 10 weeks old and a bit of a handful and Raven was great with her. She even helped us work on potty training. She sent a video of Lola within minutes of us leaving and kept in contact with us the entire time. Really put my mind at ease. And she worked with our crazy pick up and drop off schedule. She’s definitely our new go to sitter for Lola!”
“Tamara was very punctual. Communication was too notch. She sent daily text updates, videos or pictures. My dogs got great socializing with her dogs. Great first time experience. I would recommend Tamara for dog sitting.”

“Really nice and caring sitter. Our flight got delayed and had to extend Bubble’s stay for an extra day. Hanna was really considerate about all this and took great care of Bubble.”

“We had a wonderful experience leaving our Harley with Jordyn and Marcus! They were so kind and welcoming, and our pup had a great time with them. Their home was nice, and the whole experience was convenient and stress-free. We felt very comfortable knowing she was in good hands. We’ll definitely be calling them again the next time we’re in Knoxville! Highly recommend!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Knoxville
We cannot say enough good things about Joseph! He watched our dog, Shyanne, for several days and was absolutely wonderful. He was incredibly communicative throughout her stay and sent us photos every day, which gave us so much peace of mind knowing our sweet girl was happy and being well cared for. We recently moved to Knoxville, and this was our very first time using Rover, so we weren’t quite sure what to expect. We feel incredibly lucky that we found Joseph! He took amazing care of Shyanne, kept us updated, and made the entire experience so easy and stress-free. We’re already looking at our calendar to figure out when we can book with him again. We would absolutely recommend Joseph to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and genuinely wonderful with their pets. Shyanne will definitely be back!

Somer was great with Millie. She responded very quickly when I put out a request for a sitter. We toured the house and yard and met her dog Luke before I left Millie. She even gave some updates on how my dog was doing, as well as a nice note from her mother about how she was appreciated. I will definitely used Somer again the next time I need a pet sitter.

Here’s a warmer and more polished version: Sallie was the best sitter we’ve ever had on Rover! Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of our baby!

Jenny was amazing with Synna. She made the whole experience completely stress-free by sending regular updates and pictures, and I could tell Synna was having a great time. It’s such a relief finding someone you can truly trust with your dog. I will absolutely book with Jenny again. Thank you for loving on my sweet girl while I was away! 🐾🤎

Bridget took great care of my dog Licorice. She gave her medication as scheduled and kept me updated on how Licorice was doing and sent me some great pics. I really appreciate that she takes only 1 dog at a time, and her 2 dogs are very friendly and got along great with Licorice.

Elexis was wonderful with Synna. She was kind, responsive, and made the whole process easy and stress-free. Synna was well cared for, and I felt comfortable knowing she was in good hands. I would definitely book with her again and recommend her to anyone needing a reliable sitter.

Kasra is the best Rover I have ever had. By far! He was kind, communicative, and went above and beyond for our dog throughout the stay. Our dog fell ill during the stay, and he handled the situation with positivity and willingness to help our dog feel better. He will definitely be our go-to Rover from now on. Thank you Kasra!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
