About: I’ve taken care of many animals over the years and absolutely love it. I jump at the chance when a friend or family asks me to take care of their pets! I have experience volunteering at an animal shelter where we got to play with the animals, learn about their behaviors, and clean up after them. My favorite thing to do is take them on walks or just simply hang out. I have lots of experience pet sitting and would love to take care of yours! I’m currently working part-time from home and have flexible hours during the week and weekend. I’d be happy to help out with your pet whenever you need. I have a family dog who I feed, take outside, and play with when I am back home. I am able to do the same for yours!
“Brooke was amazing with my 2 little pups! I know they enjoyed getting to stay in their own house instead of being boarded. They got plenty of play time and snuggles with Brooke. The frequent photo updates really help put you at ease will you are away. Brooke definitely went above and beyond for us and I will absolutely be booking with her again.”

“Spur of the moment 1st time booking with Melissa for 2 senior dogs with special needs. I was impressed at the meet & greet when she immediately loved on the dogs, and was thorough with wanting to know their needs. She was very communicative and wanted to ensure all went well after the drop in. Will definitely be using Melissa again!”

I offer a pet stranger free home with my own cats staying with my sister while I have guest pets. 🐈 I first began pet sitting in college and primarily serviced young adults and college students. Thus, I have always offered an affordable rate so that regular people can obtain pet sitting services without having to pay expensive boarding fees. 🐶 Although I just started using Rover, I have been sitting for years through friends, family, and referrals! I can provide references for those I have serviced in the past that have not been through the app. 🐈 I am a former President, Vice President, and class representative of the Animal Legal Defense Fund at the University of Tennessee College of Law. I am available any day of the week for boarding. 🐈 Currently, I am not accepting bookings over 2 months in advance. 🐈 For drop in visits and walks, I am available Mon-Fri between 7:30-8:30 a.m., 11:30-1:30 p.m., and after 6 p.m. Available all day Saturday and Sunday beginning 9 a.m. 🐶 Drop off and pickups must occur between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. 🐈 Meet and greets must occur in the evening and are offered at Sutree Landing Park. Your pets become mine for a few days! I would care for them as if they were my own. I let pets staying in my home on the furniture and sleep in my bed. If you would like pictures of my home to see where your pet would be staying, feel free to ask! My personal pets vacate my home and stay with their other parent while I am sitting to eliminate conflicts with guest pets. 🐈 I send as many pictures as you want and I am available by text all day.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Knoxville
I wish I could leave a 10-star review! Helena is professional, responsive, and very helpful. My senior long-haired dachshund loves her. It's obvious that Helena is passionate about animals and providing exceptional care for pets and clients. I highly recommend Helena!

Stephanie was great, all my animals loved her- even my pit-bull mastiff who can be weird with people took to her right away. And I have a very shy cat who hides and comes out for no one, but she came out of hiding for Stephanie, which says a lot. I was able to enjoy my trip out of town and not worry about them. She sent updates and pictures and I hope to have her drop in again when I need it. She's very likable, has good energy, is trustworthy, and was on time every time. Highly recommend.

Kathleen has been the best looking after my puppy. She's always on time and goes the extra effort to send me updates with pics after each visit, which is greatly appreciated since it's helped document my puppy's growth. (She is a great photographer!) It's tough being away from my pup and to have someone I can trust to look after him...but Kathleen has been the best. Kathleen has made it so I don't have to worry. Worth it! Thank you, Kathleen. We are going to miss you!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
