About: I've had dogs all my life and recently adopted 2 kittens, 3 of the dogs have been with me since they were puppies and both kittens since they were about 8 weeks old, so I'm pretty versed in anything cat and dog related. Currently I'm studying aerospace engineering at UTK, but since it's summer I have lots of free time to take care of animals pretty much whenever. I have lots of toys and treats as well as the experience and equipment needed to handle anything pet related. I also have a crate and pet carrier.
About: I have grown up with dogs, and I have a big 110 pound lovable anxious boy dog and I have been trained to build his confidence and take him on enjoyable walks- with lots of patience and treats! I also have a cat and can appreciate all personalities of cats! My schedule is very open and flexible! I am willing to move my own personal schedule around for my clients needs and requests for their pets. I make sure to create an environment to make animals feel safe and spoiled. I appreciate all personalities of animals and make sure they always feel loved!
“Phenomenal help we got from Becky. We’re very glad we found her and she was able to watch Duchess for such a long time. We are extremely grateful and can say enough about our experience. Thanks again Becca!!”

“Leah has been amazing! I’ve needed someone to drop in on my dog while I’m at work but the days change every week—she has been flexible and attentive and given me plenty of updates and checked in off the clock about my dog after he wasn’t feeling well one day.”
“Reagan was an excellent petsitter for my two cats. She sent thorough updates and cute pictures each day. My cats were both happy when I returned, and not stressed like they have been with other sitters. I can tell she really took good care of them.”

About: I have had extensive experience with dogs, cats and exotic pets! Everything from personally caring for my own dog with allergies and anxiety to caring for medical fosters. I am experienced with high need pets and able to adapt my behavior to thier needs. I have a flexible schedule this summer and would love to help you out! Right now I am taking the summer to get ready for graduate school. This means I have a super open and flexible schedule. My day typically starts with exercise and ends with reading a book. This leaves plenty of time for me to meet and accommodate your needs. Care for pets is often determined but the pet themselves. Do you have a high energy working breed or an anxious low energy chihuahua? I am fully prepared to meet you and your pet where you are at!
“Tate was super helpful looking after my pups! Great communication and plenty of pics showing me how excited they were for the company. Highly recommend and will book again! Thanks Tate!!!”

About: Hi, I’m Danner. I love animals and have experience pet sitting for family friends, caring for pets with different personalities, routines, and needs. I’m comfortable with puppies, senior pets, and anxious dogs, and I understand how important it is to have someone patient, reliable, and trustworthy looking after your furry family members. I personally know how valuable it is to have a sitter you can count on. I use Rover myself and appreciate the peace of mind that comes from knowing someone loyal and caring is taking care of my own dog. I strive to provide that same comfort and trust to every client I work with. I have several hundred hours volunteering in the community (Knoxville), which helped me develop strong responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm in stressful situations. I bring that same dedication and care into every pet-sitting opportunity. My availability is open, and I’m happy to provide walks, playtime, companionship, and updates so you can feel confident your pets are safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. My schedule is flexible, and I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and needs. I’m available for drop-in visits, walks, and a few hours of companionship, and I’m also open to overnight stays in a clean and comfortable home. I typically work during the day for about 7 hours, usually from 6 AM–1 PM or 8 AM–3 PM, but I’m happy to stop by before and after work to make sure your pets get the care, attention, and love they need. I’m respectful of your home, your instructions, and your pet’s boundaries. My experience has taught me the importance of being responsible, observant, and prepared, especially in situations where someone is depending on me. I’m happy to provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are safe, cared for, and getting plenty of love while you’re away. P.s - MY dog is a RUNNER so don’t worry I know how to make sure they stay inside.
About: I have cared for cats and dogs my entire life! My family had multiple pets at all times growing up. I am a cat mom myself with shared custody with my twin sister. I offer a pet stranger free home with my own cats staying with my sister while I have guest pets. 🐈 I first began pet sitting in college and primarily serviced young adults and college students. Thus, I have always offered an affordable rate so that regular people can obtain pet sitting services without having to pay expensive boarding fees. 🐶 Although I just started using Rover, I have been sitting for years through friends, family, and referrals! I can provide references for those I have serviced in the past that have not been through the app. 🐈 I am a former President, Vice President, and class representative of the Animal Legal Defense Fund at the University of Tennessee College of Law. I am available any day of the week for boarding. 🐈 Currently, I am not accepting bookings over 2 months in advance. 🐈 For drop in visits and walks, I am available Mon-Fri between 7:30-8:30 a.m., 11:30-1:30 p.m., and after 6 p.m. Available all day Saturday and Sunday beginning 9 a.m. 🐶 Drop off and pickups must occur between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. 🐈 Meet and greets must occur in the evening and are offered at Sutree Landing Park. Your pets become mine for a few days! I would care for them as if they were my own. I let pets staying in my home on the furniture and sleep in my bed. If you would like pictures of my home to see where your pet would be staying, feel free to ask! My personal pets vacate my home and stay with their other parent while I am sitting to eliminate conflicts with guest pets. 🐈 I send as many pictures as you want and I am available by text all day.
“Adeline checked in on our 2 dogs and cat while I had a last minute overnight night trip and needed someone to let the dogs out for a potty break and feed and water for the night. Adeline was so kind in agreeing to care for them last minute and sent updates at each check in. She even brought in packages that were delivered without me having to ask so it wasn’t sitting in the front porch all day.”

About: I’ve grown up with both large and small dogs and two cats, along with caring for barn animals and horses. I cared for my own senior dog for 10 of her 17 years. I’m flexible, adaptable, and love all animals regardless of size or breed! I’ll happily work with puppies, senior dogs, and any other furry friends. I’m a full time undergraduate engineering student, and fully available outside of class times! I’m in class Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9am to 5pm and Tuesdays 9am to 3pm. I’m happy to work overnight, early mornings, and/or weekends. I’ll completely follow any instructions shared by the pet owner on how to best care for your pet(s)! I’ve grown up around animals of many different types and can adapt to ensure the most comfortable, fun experience for your pet

“Mariah was incredible! Communicated well, made the dogs feel very loved, sent great updates and showed enthusiasm to care for our pups. Would recommend her to anyone that's looking for a sitter or drop in visits. One of the best”

About: Hi! I’m a former vet tech who loves caring for dogs of all kinds. Since I work from home most of the week, I have lots of flexibility for long walks, quick potty breaks, dog-park fetch sessions, or trips around town. I’m currently without my own dog, so I can’t wait to enjoy some quality companionship with yours! Especially love the big, older dogs but I’m also happy to help with younger pups! I work from home part of the week and I am home during the weekends so I’m happy to spend lots of quality time with your furry friend! I also have neighbors who work from home so if there’s ever anything needed when I am at the office, there will always be help available. In my home, depending on what you do at your home, I am happy to have the dog in a crate or free range. I also have a large patio so we can enjoy some sunshine time together as well. My complex does have a dog park and we live next to a walking trail so outside time will not be an issue however if your dog loves just snuggling and staying indoors. I am fine with that vibe as well.
“Izzy was absolutely great! We traveled for a week and my dog had a seizure towards the end of the week and she was there for him and really supported him and did everything above and beyond what was expected. She’s great!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of all sizes since I was 10 years old. Whether it be my family’s cats or my neighbors German Shepard, I love animals of all sizes. I’m working on finding a part time job so I’m able to pet sit whenever I am needed, whether it be late nights or weekends! I’ll come over and feed, walk and play with whatever animal and make sure to send pictures to the owner as a proof of life.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Knoxville
Stephanie was great, all my animals loved her- even my pit-bull mastiff who can be weird with people took to her right away. And I have a very shy cat who hides and comes out for no one, but she came out of hiding for Stephanie, which says a lot. I was able to enjoy my trip out of town and not worry about them. She sent updates and pictures and I hope to have her drop in again when I need it. She's very likable, has good energy, is trustworthy, and was on time every time. Highly recommend.

Kathleen has been the best looking after my puppy. She's always on time and goes the extra effort to send me updates with pics after each visit, which is greatly appreciated since it's helped document my puppy's growth. (She is a great photographer!) It's tough being away from my pup and to have someone I can trust to look after him...but Kathleen has been the best. Kathleen has made it so I don't have to worry. Worth it! Thank you, Kathleen. We are going to miss you!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Knoxville with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
