“Brooke was great. Came for an initial meet with me and my pet before booking, even on short notice. She took great care of my cat, cleaned his litter each visit and made sure to play with him for a while each visit. Will definitely book Brooke again next time I'm out of town.”

About: If you’re looking for someone to adore your pet and build special trust with them then I am here! I am a lifelong animal lover. I have cared for close friends’ animals for years, as well as housesat for coworkers. I currently have one cat who has been with me for 8 years. My former roommate has an Australian cattle dog and I would often take care of him when she was gone! I also frequently house and dogsat for another friend with a lovely black lab mix and energetic dachshund. Plenty of experience taking care of cats as well. No matter the situation I look forward to meeting your babies and putting your worries at ease while you’re away I am working part time in healthcare Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I work 9-6 pm and am available for early morning and evening walks and check ins. On my off days I will be dedicated to your babies and would enjoy getting outside with them too! I am happy to care for them in your home where they feel most comfortable! I am unable to house any additional pets in my home at this time
About: I was a care taker of a dog for 12 years so I have plenty of experience taking care of dogs and taking dogs on walks. I also was a care taker of a cat for 5 years. I was in charge of giving the cat food, water, and doing the cat’s litter box. I have been pet sitting/ house sitting for almost two years and have done countless house sitting jobs. My work schedule right now is Monday, Thursday, and Friday 9 AM - 5:30 PM and Tuesdays and Wednesday 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM. I’m available on weekends too. I’m also willing to spend the night to make sure your pet gets the best care. I have a ton of experience with keeping dogs safe as I use to care for my dog for 12 years. I make sure they don’t eat anything that is unhealthy for me and I make sure they don’t get in any danger

“Wonderful pet (cat) sitter! Olive was very comfortable with Olivia. Maybe too comfortable bossing her around begging for treats and scratches. 😹 Great communication and pics/videos sent to us too! Will book again. 👍🏻”

“This was our first time using Helena and she exceeded our expectations. She came and visited our Kitty beforehand and Kitty loved her right away. We will definitely use again!”

“Lauryn is a wonderful pet sitter! She cared for our German Shepherd, Pit Mix,and cat for a few days while we were out of town. She sent multiple pictures throughout the day during her time with the animals, and even brought new balls when our dogs 'lost' the ball they were playing with. Our family and animals feel so comfortable with Lauryn, and we are looking forward to working with her again the next time we go out of town. She is top notch!”

I have extensive experience caring for animals of all kinds, beginning in childhood, and I’m committed to providing your pet with attentive, dependable, and compassionate care.
“Anna took such great care of my cat Doug. She was always quick to reply to messages in the app, easy to work with, and best of all I could tell Doug (who is normally shy) was loving having her around. The pics she sent showed just how comfortable he was around her. Will definitely be booking her again!”

“Hayley did an awesome job! After her first drop in visit I knew the dogs were being taken care of and loved. She sat outside with them when the temps were in the teens, she hand fed our picky eater, and gave every dog some loving.”

About: I've been the go-to for pet sitting since I was 9. Working alongside my Nanny mom and taking my own jobs with dogs as big as mastiffs and as small as chihuahua's. I love all pets, no matter how moody or sweet. I'm currently in school so I'll have plenty of time to play with your babies! I'm available for drop-ins before and after school and completely open on the weekend. I am very accommodating to any space, providing love and care for your baby wherever you may be at. I love playing outside with them or just cuddling up on the couch.
“Lydia is AWESOME! She went above and beyond as our sitter. Not only did she hanging out with our kitty but she also brought my packages out of the rain. Lydia was really kind and quickly won over my grumpy cat. She’s a keeper for sure!”

I can take care of any special needs that your pet has. I will provide all of the love they want. If your dog is spoiled, I can continue that tradition. About: I've spent several years caring for animals through both my education and professional experience. I am currently studying veterinary medicine at UTCVM, where I gained hands-on experience handling dogs and cats, recognizing signs of illness, understanding animal behavior, and learning proper restraint techniques to keep pets safe and comfortable. I'm comfortable caring for pets of different ages, sizes, and temperaments, including energetic puppies and kittens, senior pets, and those with special medical needs. I have experience administering oral medications and can carefully follow feeding schedules, exercise routines, and any specific care instructions you provide. I know every pet has their own personality and routine, so I take the time to earn their trust and make them feel comfortable while you're away. Whether we're going for a walk, playing in the yard, or simply relaxing at home, my goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for. I'll also keep you updated with regular messages and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I am currently a student at UTCVM, so visits during the week would be before class and after class. On the weekends, I am open to almost everything that fits your pets schedule! When caring for pets in a client's home, I treat both the home and the pet with the utmost respect. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise routines, and any household rules you've established. I always ensure doors, gates, and leashes are secure before taking pets outside and never allow off-leash walks unless they're in a safely enclosed area and you've specifically requested it. I understand that every pet is different. Some love to play and be active, while others simply want companionship and a calm environment. I adjust my care to meet each pet's individual needs and pay close attention to any changes in their behavior, appetite, or overall well-being. Communication is also very important to me. I'll provide regular updates and photos throughout each visit or stay so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, comfortable, and receiving the care they deserve.
About: I have experience caring for pets of all sizes, ages, and personalities, and I’m comfortable adapting to each pet’s individual needs. I’ve lived with and cared for animals ranging from small pets to large dogs my entire life, including senior pets and those with special needs. While I’m not a professional trainer, I’m attentive, patient, and happy to provide whatever extra care your pet may need. Whether that means accommodating mobility limitations, administering routine care, cleaning up accidents, or simply providing some extra love and attention, I want every pet to feel safe and comfortable while they are in my care. 🐾❤️ I’m a graduate student at the University of Tennessee, so my weekdays are generally busy with classes until noon. I’m typically available after that and have plenty of flexibility on weekends! My schedule can vary, but I’m happy to work with you to find a time that fits your pet’s needs. Feel free to reach out, even if you’re not sure my schedule will work, just ask! I do not currently have the means to care for pets in my own home, but I am able to meet your pets at home and provide care however necessary!
About: I have always been able to communicate and interact with animals much easier than i have with people, it comes more naturally to me. The first thing that my closest friends and family say when introducing me to anyone, especially if they have pets, is that i’m great with animals. it fits in perfectly, i work at part time job at a clothing store but my shifts are only typically four hours, and i get off work anytime between 4-6 so right around dinner time. i have an open yard that my dog can roam freely whenever we let her out, she tends to stay within 10 yards of our front doorstep so we do not keep her on a leash. however, should i be taking care of a dog and it does need to be on a leash when being let out, that is no problem at all.
“We will always choose Jessica as our first pick for a pet sitter! Our babies love her and it is wonderful to be able to travel without worries and knowing they’ll be taken care of!”

About: If you’re looking for someone to check in on your pet or take them for a walk, I’ve got you covered. I’ve been caring for dogs for over 15 years and it’s genuinely one of my favorite things to do. I have a pup of my own so I know firsthand what it means to trust someone with your pet. Every drop-in and walk gets my full attention. I’d love to help keep your pet happy, entertained, and well-exercised! I work full time but I have time for walks early in the morning or in the evenings. I am also willing to stay at your home and take care of your pet while you are out of town. I would come to your home to take care of your pet. Whatever your pet needs I will be willing to provide. Whether it’s medication, daily walks, or some chill time, I am ready.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Powell
She takes a ton of pictures and follows instructions exactly. She takes care of our dogs plus the added benefit of seeing our dogs have fun and be relaxed with her. It was a last minute request which she eagerly honored and we are so grateful that someone could check on our pups while we were away. It was such a last minute need (we stayed at the aquarium too long and needed someone to check on them the same day) and she fulfilled all our needs as well as went over the top to make sure we were informed of the care. I will be booking again if needed!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
