We had a meet and greet a few days beforehand and when we came to drop her off for the week, Molly could not wait to get out of the car. She was excited to be there—which made it so much easier to leave her. In both my home and a client’s home, I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. I make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, fresh water, meals on schedule, and, of course, lots of affection. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions carefully to help pets feel comfortable in their familiar environment. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel reassured while they’re away.
