“Always a pleasure leaving Jake with Lauryn and Kadabra. They really get along and I constantly get updates on him throughout his stay. I will most certainly be a repeat customer. Thank you!!”

“Danni is truly a one of a kind caring and communicative dog boarder. She is incredibly personable and was always responsive to our many questions, not to mention she provided a ton of photos too! As our dogs do attest, there is no where else they would consider other than Danni’s! You really need to look no further.”

“Jessica is great and you can tell she and her family really love dogs. My puppy doesn’t sleep well at other houses but she made it work for him at her house. So glad I could leave on vacation but still feel good about my puppy knowing he was having a good time and well taken care of.”

“Highly recommend! Kristy was absolutely incredible with our girl Star! This was our first time leaving her with someone other than family, so we were a bit nervous. Kristy sent us multiple updates and pictures. She was very accommodating to our shy girl. Star was skiddish at first, but by the end of the stay she bloomed into her playful, loving self! We are so thankful for Kristy and will definitely book with her again in the future!”

“LOVED the experience. I knew my girl was in safe hands and am so glad I booked with Skylar. Very responsive, very understanding, randomly sent pictures!! I never worried once while she took care of my moody, drooly dog. Will use her again and again, as long as she will have us!”

“Karson was great, she’s communicative and clearly loves animals. She took great care of our dog and cat while we were out of town for almost two weeks, she sent us updates often and checked in with any clarifications she had about their care. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Trey was AWESOME! Presley left his house looking super happy as she got to hang out with dogs all week! Trey also shared updates with us daily and some fun photos for us to enjoy. We will definitely be using Trey for any future trips :)”

“Andrew is wonderful to work with. He sent pictures of Rosie settling in and kept me posted on everything. I know Rosie enjoyed playing with the other dogs and getting to romp around in the fenced in back yard. I'll definately board Rosie with Andrew in the future.”

“Cy Cy, my cat, is a bit skittish and this was the first time we left her with a sitter. We had only been in Gatlinburg for a few hours when Frances sent a couple of pics of Cy Cy. She was on her back sleeping, just like she does at home, so she evidently felt safe. I really appreciate her care and anytime I need a sitter she will be my first call.”

“Mary and her husband are absolutely wonderful with my dog, Millie! They’re both so kind, patient, and truly treat her like their own. It’s such a comfort knowing Millie is getting lots of love and attention while I’m away. She’s always excited to see them, which says it all! I’m so grateful to have found such caring sitters.”

“Allyson and Tyler were so great with Daisy!! They truly treated her like family and she had such a great time playing with the other dogs!! Such a better experience for her than traditional boarding.. I can tell by her mood after I picked her up that she had a great time staying at their house! I will definitely be booking with them for the future !”

“What a wonderful experience! Joan’s communicating was top notch from our initial conversation. Her calm and loving demeanor with my dogs and my family gave us a sense of comfort before we even left her doorstep. Joan had nothing but kind words and sweet insight for us. My pups had a lovey stay. Highly recommend. Thank you Joan!”

“Angelica and Elizabeth were wonderful with my fur baby. I missed him like crazy but I knew he was in good hands. I received pictures and videos frequently. I will definitely use them again. They treated him like their own. Thank you”

“Nicole watched our dog, Willow, for a long weekend and was great! We were sent some great photos from the stay and received a daily update of how Willow was doing. Would definitely use Nicole again!”
About: I have two dogs, one is three and one is six months. I adore them and spoil them daily. My oldest has very high energy so I am used to getting the energy out! They love going swimming at the lake as well! Though we do not have a fenced in yard, they go for daily walks and have fun enrichment activities inside. I am currently in college, but I am available Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays to walk your dogs! I am also available to board your dog anytime! I am home pretty much all day everyday except for my hour class I have to attend Monday and Wednesday. I have a pretty set routine with my dogs, as I wake up early (6am) to let them both out, and again around 9. I am very attentive with my dogs, as I would be with yours! I make sure they are comfortable and have a nice place to lay and have food and water at their access. If they need to go out, I’m on it! I imagine how my dogs would feel if my dogs were going to a new place, and want to make them feel as loved and comfortable as possible, as new environments can be scary.
Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Halls Crossroads
Nicole and family were exceptional. Updates and pictures were sent daily. She was loved on, cared for and in a tail wagging mood in all of the pictures. Our Allie takes meds and Nicole was sure to keep us updated with those as well. We have already booked a second stay for an upcoming trip.

Caitlyn was a GREAT sitter. I was gone for 2 weeks and didn't worry or stress one time. I’ve used many Rover sitters but you can tell Caitlyn really loves dogs. She sent daily updates with multiple pictures and videos, and was very communicative. Would highly recommend. Thanks again!

Kayla and her husband were great, easy to communicate and deal with. We felt Micah and Luna were in great hands, and we received daily updates and pictures. We won't forget what for us was the highlight of their stay, which was seeing them interact with Kayla's baby daughter! It was heart-melting cute! We will definitely reach out to her for any future needs :)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Amazing Dog Sitters – Wes & Gabe Deserve 20 Stars! Wes and Gabe are truly incredible! I was in a difficult situation when my husband was suddenly admitted to the hospital, and I needed someone I could trust to care for our dogs, Schatzi and Coco. From the very beginning, they went above and beyond in every possible way. They sent daily updates and the sweetest pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind during an extremely stressful time. Their love and care for our pets were obvious in everything they did. They were also incredibly thoughtful toward us—checking in, being flexible as my husband’s condition changed day to day, and reassuring us that our pups were happy, safe, and loved. Schatzi and Coco were treated like family, enjoying walks, playtime, and even trips to the dog park! Wes and Gabe’s kindness, reliability, and genuine love for animals shine through in everything they do. If you’re looking for sitters who will love your pets as much as you do, look no further than Wes and Gabe!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Halls Crossroads home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Halls Crossroads.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Halls Crossroads sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
