“Sarah did a great job with my cats! Not only did she feed and take care of the litter, but she also was helpful with collecting my packages and mail for me while I was away. She also takes great photos of your pet while she is watching them!”

About: What sets me apart is the personal care and attention I give every pet. I take time to learn each animal’s personality, routine, and needs, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I own a small business so I am able to make my own schedule if it’s at least a month out. If I do have events then I’ll be gone 4-6 hours max. Other than that I will try to be with your animals as much as possible. Every pet in my care is treated like family, with constant attention to their comfort and well-being. I create a safe, loving space where pets can relax, play, and feel at home while you’re away.
“Elle did a great job checking in on Charlie while I was away. She was on time, communicated well before and throughout the visit, and made sure he was happy and well taken care of. I would definitely book with her again!”

“Gretchen does an amazing job with my cat Salem! Salem gets very anxious when we are out of town but when Gretchen comes and plays with her she isn’t anxious at all! I highly recommend her if you need some love and cuddles for your kitty!!”

About: I have loads of experience! From fostering dogs to being a licensed vet tech of 10 years!!! I decided I wanted a different direction and starting my own business and pet sit on the side. I'm loving every second of it! I work from home so taking care of your baby will fit right into my schedule. I can do whatever is needed and more! Just ask! I prefer to care for animals in their homes where they are comfortable, but if they are good with other dogs/peope/ and cats they can come to mine. I have 6bdogs ranging from puppy to senior and 5 cats. They all get along well with other dogs and cats but if one was to join our pack they would have to do the same.
About: I have experience with animals of all ages, energy levels, and size! I’m patient, reliable, and knowledgeable in basic obedience and pet first aid, ensuring every dog feels safe, loved, and understood. I am a junior at the University of Tennessee and I have frequent breaks in between classes. I am able to provide services throughout the day as well as over weekends. I value a safe, comfortable, and loving environment where pets feel at home. In my care, dogs enjoy regular walks, playtime, cuddles, and a consistent feeding routine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal schedule closely—keeping mealtime, walks, and routines familiar to reduce stress. I also keep homes tidy, send regular updates, and make sure every pet feels secure, happy, and well-loved.

About: I’ve been caring for pets for over 8 years through my mom’s pet sitting business, The Funky Monkey. During that time, I’ve worked with dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I’m experienced with feeding, walking, administering basic medications, providing companionship, and following owners’ care instructions. I treat every pet like my own and strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I work part-time as a server and just completed nursing school! I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the week. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting on most weekdays and weekends, and I can often accommodate last-minute bookings. Safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow each pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, medications, and any special instructions provided by the owner. I take the time to build trust with every pet and ensure they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I prefer to schedule a meet-and-greet before the first booking so both you and your pet can feel comfortable and we can make sure it’s a great fit. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.

About: I've had dogs and cats of all sizes ever since I can remember. I currently have two dogs, a 90 pound lab and a 50 pound Weimaraner mix! Both love to be outside, go on walks, and cuddle up! I'd love to help you out in any way shape or form, including, but not limited to, watching your pets, walking your pets, and even letting them out on potty breaks! I work part-time, but my shifts are never longer than 6 hours. In those times, I live with my family- who is also available for our dogs. I love post-dinner walks with my doggies and spending as much time as possible outside with them. I have a 6 foot fenced in yard that's about half an acre, so plenty of space for the doggos to run around! I have two other dogs – a lab and a hound, that left to play but equally as much sleep. They love dogs of all sizes and ages and love to be with cats as well! They're not rough, but definitely high energy. My family has been missing our cat for about a year and we're dying to have another in the house!!
About: I have always been able to communicate and interact with animals much easier than i have with people, it comes more naturally to me. The first thing that my closest friends and family say when introducing me to anyone, especially if they have pets, is that i’m great with animals. it fits in perfectly, i work at part time job at a clothing store but my shifts are only typically four hours, and i get off work anytime between 4-6 so right around dinner time. i have an open yard that my dog can roam freely whenever we let her out, she tends to stay within 10 yards of our front doorstep so we do not keep her on a leash. however, should i be taking care of a dog and it does need to be on a leash when being let out, that is no problem at all.
About: I am independently insured for pet walking and sitting. Growing up in Tennessee, my family had a running total of 10 cats and 2 dogs. We had kittens, strays, and elderly pets. All of our cats were shorthaired, but my grandmother had a longhaired cat. I briefly took care of another longhaired cat that a friend found in his neighborhood. He couldn’t keep it and knew I had experience with cats, so he called me and I took it in until we found its owner. The dogs I grew up with were very different. We got Hook, our black labrador retriever, from a breeder. He came with a pedigree and everything. Years later, in his old age, a corgi mix showed up at our house. We weren’t able to find her owners and we ended up keeping her. I credit her with keeping Hook alive a little longer. I know how much of a difference our animals can make. I have done petsitting in the client’s home and in my own home with pets, often with multiple animals at one time. I even kept three guinea pigs for about a week in December 2023. In Tennessee, I worked as a volunteer at a local animal shelter, reading to cats and dogs through a program designed to help socialize the animals. I am unable to pet sit animals in my current apartment, and would treat it as a privilege to be let in your home in any capacity. My current job is a flexible, part time, remote job that I can do from anywhere. This leaves me with a lot of availability for your pet! I am patient with animals and I never take my emotions out on them. There are times where I have had to be firm with animals, of course, (can you imagine keeping 6 cats off the counters? Or keeping our corgi mix from nipping at our black lab while she tried to herd him outside?), but I’ve never been mean or lost my temper with an animal, and our corgi was a Mess™. I can clean traditional litterboxes and have familiarity with some higher-tech ones. I understand body language cues from both dogs and cats. As the daughter of a former landlord, I understand the frustration that comes with letting someone in your home just for them to take advantage of you. Therefore, you can be certain I will maintain the utmost respect for your belongings, your home, and your pet.

I work from home full time so I would be available throughout the day/night to take care of all of your fur babies meal times/cuddles/needs! About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and my own dog, Ferg, is truly family. He has taught me just how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pet when you can’t be there. I know how much our pets mean to us, and I treat every animal in my care with the same love, patience, and attention that I give Ferg. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playing fetch, exploring outside, or curling up on the couch for cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to following your pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, medications (if needed), and any special instructions. Communication is a priority for me, so I’ll send regular updates and photos to give you peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is to make sure your pet is happy, comfortable, and loved—because they deserve to be treated like family, just as Ferg is to me. I work a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable care, and I intentionally plan my day around the pets I’m caring for. I have time for walks, potty breaks, feeding, playtime, medication if needed, and plenty of love and attention. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it a priority to keep their routine as consistent as possible. I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any other special care your pet requires. I know pets are often most comfortable in their own environment, so I take the time to make them feel safe, loved, and relaxed while you’re away. I’ll also treat your home with the utmost respect by keeping it clean and secure, bringing in packages if requested, watering plants, and providing regular photo and message updates so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.

Lauren was very responsive and punctual! She did a wonderful job taking care of my pup Tucker while I was gone for two days and made sure to go beyond just walking/feeding him but also spent time playing with him and bonding. I loved receiving updates while I was gone.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
