About: Hi! I’m an experienced and dependable dog lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I have my own 80 lb Husky/German Shepherd mix, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your pet. I’ve watched my friends’ dogs for years and always treat them with the same love, attention, and care that I give my own. Having my own dog has taught me how important and serious pet care is, and my goal is always to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I have a flexible daily schedule & can work with you to accommodate your pets needs. Mornings & afternoons are ideal, but can work with you if evenings are needed. When caring for pets in someone else’s home, I treat both the pet and the home with the same respect and care I would want for my own. I understand how important it is to trust the person staying in your space and caring for your animal. I always make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved while keeping their routines as normal as possible. I’m very considerate, clean, and respectful of others’ homes, and I take the responsibility seriously from start to finish.

I make sure they receive plenty of attention, playtime, fresh water, meals on schedule, and, of course, lots of affection. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions carefully to help pets feel comfortable in their familiar environment. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel reassured while they’re away.

About: I’ve had animals ever since I was a little kid. I would dog sit my neighbors animals when they would go on vacations for full weeks or weekends. I would sometimes stay at their houses overnight or go by a few times a day. It would just depend on what was requested. I work from eight to five Monday through Friday and I have all weekends off!! My schedule is pretty free and flexible throughout the weekend. I live in an apartment complex but I do have a dog park there! I also live right down from Concord park in Farragut where I can go and play and walk them.

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was 10 years old and have experience with a wide variety of breeds, sizes, and personalities. With over 10 years of dog sitting experience, I’m confident caring for dogs of all breeds and temperaments. I’ve owned both a 90+ lb English Bulldog and a 10 lb Chihuahua–Toy Poodle mix, so I’m very comfortable with all sizes and energy levels. I’m also experienced in following routines and administering medications, such as giving pills with food. I also grew up in a family of cat lovers and have always had cats in my life. I’ve cared for cats at all life stages, including raising a kitten who lived to be 20 years old. Currently, I have two kittens, Opie and Charlie (a Russian Blue and a Ragdoll mix), so I’m very familiar with kitten care, feeding routines, and different personalities. I truly treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I work full time at Publix but with two weeks notice I can be pretty flexible. On days I do work I have an hour break so I can always stop in on my break for a potty break. It is always best to ask me because with proper notice i am very flexible. I live in an apartment complex with a rule of no over night pet visitors, so I will have to watch your pets at your house. But I have always lived in a neighborhood or close to a park where I could walk my dogs. My pets have a very set feeding schedule that they stick to very close so I am good with a feeding schedule. I have also owned pets with diet needs so I am used to needing dietary restrictions or accommodation.

My name is Grace, and I’ve been providing intentional, high-quality overnight pet care to Knoxville pet owners for the past four years off-app. I am excited to expand to dog-walking and other pet care services on Rover! I work full-time 4 days a week but can provide lunch time walks if requested. Early mornings, evenings, and weekends can be totally dedicated to your pet! About: Since I was a kid my idol has always been Steve Irwin, and his admiration and respect for all animals, even dressing up as him with my brothers to go out into nature and learn about all different kinds firsthand. I’ve had the pleasure and privilege of raising just about every kind of domestic animal excluding cattle and horses. So, whether it lives on land, swims in the sea, or soars through the skies, I’ve got it covered, furry, scaled, or feathered. I’ve house sat and taken care of pets for friends and family, since I was a teenager, of all different mannerisms from ghostly skittish to aggressively friendly, rest assured me and your pet will get along just fine. I’m the one you hear people referring to when they say “They usually aren’t this friendly with strangers.” I currently am only working 3 days out of the week, so Friday through Monday I am mostly free to take care of any pets that need looked after in your absence. I have grown up and raised just about every animal you can think of, from rodents to reptiles, birds, cats, dogs and everything in between apart from large cattle and horses, but I love them all the same. I will do my absolute best to ensure that your pet’s wants and needs are met and their daily routines kept uninterrupted in your stead. I do prefer to be introduced to them and shown around their environment prior to taking full care of them so that I may take notes, learn about them, and have a chance to make friends with them before they are left in my care, so that I may ensure they don’t even notice you’re gone. Care for your pets would include ensuring they have access to clean fresh water, food eaten/made available, litterboxes emptied/taken to the bathroom, any medications given, and that ample playtime/pets given for their much needed exercise.

I also volunteered a lot of my time caring for, and walking dogs at the animal shelter. Nothing brings me greater joy than watching my friends’ fur babies when they are out of town (which they frequently ask me to do!). I am the perfect person to watch your fur baby! I work from home, so I can give your baby 24/7 love and attention. I am also a HUGE animal lover. I have excellent communication skills, so you will never have to wonder how your baby is doing - I’ll be sending you daily updates while they are in my care. :) I treat every pet like family! I let them roam freely (depending on your preference!), and make sure they go potty every few hours. I live in an apartment, and since I work from home they will be getting ‘round the clock care, supervision, and attention!
