“What a wonderful experience! Joan’s communicating was top notch from our initial conversation. Her calm and loving demeanor with my dogs and my family gave us a sense of comfort before we even left her doorstep. Joan had nothing but kind words and sweet insight for us. My pups had a lovey stay. Highly recommend. Thank you Joan!”

About: I go beyond basic pet sitting by building trust with both pets and owners. I’m patient, reliable, and attentive to each pet’s unique personality and needs. Whether it’s helping reinforce puppy training, keeping up with high-energy dogs, or providing calm, compassionate care for senior pets, I always make sure your pet feels cared for and comfortable. I’m currently studying for my physical therapy boards, which allows me to be home throughout the day and have a very flexible schedule for pet care. Because of this, I’m able to provide consistent attention, frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, feedings, and companionship rather than leaving pets alone for long periods. In both my home and a client’s home, I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. I make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, fresh water, meals on schedule, and, of course, lots of affection. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions carefully to help pets feel comfortable in their familiar environment. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel reassured while they’re away.
“Ashley was wonderful with Sophie. She kept us consistently updated and was very flexible with her schedule. Since Sophie has anxiety, Ashley’s patience and care really helped her feel comfortable during her stay. I would absolutely book with Ashley again, thank you so much!”

“What a wonderful experience! Prior to booking, Mary arranged a meet and greet to ensure we were a good fit on both ends. I was out of town for 5 days and knowing that Sage was being so well loved and cared for made traveling so much easier. I got multiple pictures and updates thru the day which puts a dog mom at ease. I would 100 percent book Mary ( and her family) again and would highly recommend you do as well. They ALL treated her as a part of their family, they have a large fenced in back yard which is reassuring if your dog does not prefer other animals. Thank you Mary, Bob, and Ava for loving my girl!”

“Michelle is a wonderful pet sitter. She send me texts and pictures daily about how my dog was doing. Michelle gave me peace of mind knowing my dog is safe, happy and well take care of.”

“It was my first time leaving my baby girl while I went out of town for my daughter’s basketball tournament, and I was definitely nervous. But finding Kaylee was truly a blessing. She immediately put my mind at ease—sending pictures multiple times a day and keeping great communication throughout. Because of her, I was actually able to relax and enjoy the tournament without worrying. Kaylee is amazing, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will genuinely care for your fur baby like their own.”

“Sandra was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Stayed in communication to update how well MJ was doing. Loves the pics she sent. He really enjoyed the weekend! Would def book with Sandra again”

“Mackenzie is wonderful! She took photos of my cats so I could see they were eating...not really an issue, but you know.... She also watered plants and brought in the mail...and during a rainstorm she checked for a leak (older home here) and then txted back and forth to sort out where to find a bucket to catch drips until I got home. I whole- heartedly recommend her.”

About: I love dogs. i’ve had the pleasure of going through every moment of life with a furry companion. currently i have three dogs and two cats of my own, along with this i have been dog sitting/walking for family and friends these past two years. One of which being my uncles dog who is an amputee and requires a specific regiment. I look forward to utilizing my love for dogs to assist owners with carefree vacations not having to worry about dogs wreaking havoc on furniture or simply feeling alone. I’m currently attending online school so I will have unlimited flexibility. times i won’t be available might be the occasional family event or vacation but those are rarities. Upon return of the owner to the house everything will be exactly as they left it and if any messes are to be made by the dog they will be fully cleaned.

“I originally booked Olivia for the wrong month and messaged her in a slight panic when I realized the day after leaving town that my cat had no care set up. She very kindly agreed to change the days and visited that same day after work. I can't say how much I appreciated her kind flexibility, and I will certainly ask her to look after my cat again.”

“Emma was absolutely fantastic! She really showed care while taking care of our cats! It was a huge relief knowing they were well taken care of while we were out of town for so long.”

About: I have a dog of my own that I have trained who is wonderful and I would love to walk or watch your dog too! I have open availability all day and can provide bathroom breaks or play at any time. Great for puppies! I hope to watch your dog. I can either stop by your place or stay there to watch your dog. I have open availability and I can be very flexible for your dog’s needs.
About: I am an experienced pet owner! I grew up with dogs, ferrets, snakes, lizards, fish, frogs, parakeets, and much more. I also volunteered a lot of my time caring for, and walking dogs at the animal shelter. Nothing brings me greater joy than watching my friends’ fur babies when they are out of town (which they frequently ask me to do!). I am the perfect person to watch your fur baby! I work from home, so I can give your baby 24/7 love and attention. I am also a HUGE animal lover. I have excellent communication skills, so you will never have to wonder how your baby is doing - I’ll be sending you daily updates while they are in my care. :) I treat every pet like family! I let them roam freely (depending on your preference!), and make sure they go potty every few hours. I live in an apartment, and since I work from home they will be getting ‘round the clock care, supervision, and attention!
“🥹🥹🥹 Lisa is incredibly sweet to my fur baby, she always gives tons of pics and feedback!! This was Ellie’s second stay with Lisa and won’t be her last either :) thank you Lisa for everything that you continue to do for us”

“Joan is absolutely wonderful! It was puppy love at first sight. My dog spent three days with her. She sent pictures! My dog was very well loved, and well cared for. She takes him on walks during the day. She has a lovely home, which allows him to do his zoomies. My dog took to her instantly, and so did I. She’s a very loving and caring woman. I would highly recommend Joan for your pet sitting needs. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Mary was a wonderful caregiver for our dog! It was our first time using Rover and things couldn't have been better. Mary sent updates during the day, kept our pup entertained with walks, and gave him lots of TLC. We'd love to have Mary watch him again when we're in the Knoxville area.”

“Brady loves Michael and we love to see Brady’s excitement when he stays with Michael. It’s a blessing to be able to drop him off and to know that he’s being cared for as if he was with a close relative. Thanks Michael!”

“Bennie had the best time at Sandra’s house! It was my first time using the app and I was little nervous but Sandra sent plenty of pictures and updates so it made feel better.”

About: I have lived with/cared for dogs my entire life, and though I would consider myself a “dog-person” - I love spending time with all animals! I work from home so I have tons of flexibility for daily drop-ins, walks, and boarding needs. I have an almost-3 year old dog at home that I take on multiple daily walks, as well as a fenced in backyard, and she loves hanging out with new friends! I have been fostering for the last year, so have welcomed many different temperaments into our home and have gained experience in administering medication and dealing with high stress/anxiety animals, and can read body language extremely well. I can accommodate many different needs for any pet - senior dogs and puppies are welcomed. I’m very excited to have the opportunity to meet and hang out with your beloved pets! I work from home, so pups staying with us are rarely left alone except for maybe an hour or so if I need to run errands or have plans. Would prefer all boarding animals to be crate trained, just in case of emergencies. I have a fenced in yard and a very friendly dog who loves making new friends! I live in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of streets to walk and get energy out - and can also offer training, if interested, for mental stimulation as well.
“Nathan and Amanda took care of Josie on Memorial Day when it was really hard to find care. She was there for 5 1/2 hours and within the first few hours I was getting pictures. She did so well with their very young children. It was great to see how she fit right in like she was part of the family. I could tell she had a good time, she wanted to stay. They summarized everything she did- potty breaks, feeding and water breaks. All this included plenty of pictures. They are a very loving family that showed great care for Josie. I was very happy for that.”

“Excellent communication about our dog's daycare stays. Having Lisa's dog there is a big plus for our dog's socialization. Drop offs and pick ups were smooth. Our dog must have enjoyed being there as on the second and remaining day drop offs, he got out of the car and ran to Lisa's front door! We will certainly have her watch our 105 lb. Black Lab in the near future, if only for him to have a change of pace!”

“Julianne was so wonderful with Andi for doggy day care! Lots of pets, toys, and pictures. Andi got exactly what she needed which was a long nap and snuggles. Julianne was very responsive and easy to work with. Will definitely use her again if ever in town!”

About: I've had dogs and cats of all sizes ever since I can remember. I currently have two dogs, a 90 pound lab and a 50 pound Weimaraner mix! Both love to be outside, go on walks, and cuddle up! I'd love to help you out in any way shape or form, including, but not limited to, watching your pets, walking your pets, and even letting them out on potty breaks! I work part-time, but my shifts are never longer than 6 hours. In those times, I live with my family- who is also available for our dogs. I love post-dinner walks with my doggies and spending as much time as possible outside with them. I have a 6 foot fenced in yard that's about half an acre, so plenty of space for the doggos to run around! I have two other dogs – a lab and a hound, that left to play but equally as much sleep. They love dogs of all sizes and ages and love to be with cats as well! They're not rough, but definitely high energy.
“We booked last minute & she still took our little Bentley! Was extremely understanding because we were running late. Sent pictures and videos all day letting us know how he was doing. She is amazing & the sweetest! We will definitely be bringing Bentley back to play with the other dogs❤️❤️ He had a great time.”

About: I’ve always had and loved dogs! I have a soft spot in my heart for doggies. I would keep my friends and family’s dogs when they would go out of town. These dogs have been all shapes and sizes! Golden retriever, Rottweiler, Pit mix, Pug, Yellow Lab, Jack Russell, and more! I also have volunteered at Young Williams Animal Shelter walking and caring for dogs. I am a teacher so I have my summers off and will be readily available to care for your fur baby. I am currently raising a 5 month old Golden Retriever of my own! I am a teacher currently off for the summer so I have plenty of time to play and love on dogs! I am available any day of the week for boarding as well as walks! My whole summer is revolving around taking care of my teenaged golden! We have been spending our days going to the pool, going on walks, training, playing fetch, and cuddling! I have a fenced in yard with a playful teenage golden who is ready to make friends. He is super friendly. I also have crates and a play pen inside for dogs to play in without having to free roam the house. I sometimes will take the dogs to our boat on the lake or my in-law’s pool if they enjoy water!

About: I am a dog mom to 2 reactive dogs, so I'm patient and understanding of different types of behaviors in dogs. I will care for your fur baby like they're mine! I am currently only working part-time, so I will have plenty of time for your fur babies! About: I have been caring for animals my entire life and have experience with a wide variety of pets and farm animals, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and livestock. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy caring for them and making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. For the past 26 years, I have worked as a special education teacher, which has taught me patience, responsibility, compassion, and the importance of creating a calm and supportive environment. I am looking for a fun and rewarding summer part-time opportunity doing something I truly love — spending time with animals. I currently volunteer with Friends of Feral Felines and have also volunteered with local animal shelters over the years. In addition, I have fostered both cats and dogs, helping provide them with a caring home environment while they waited for adoption. As a lifelong animal owner and caregiver, I understand that every pet has its own personality and needs. Whether it’s playtime, walks, medication, extra patience, or simply companionship, I treat every animal like family. I’m a teacher currently looking for a fun summer part-time opportunity, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for your pets. I’m available for drop-in visits, walks, and overnight care throughout the week and weekends. Because animals have always been a big part of my life, I truly enjoy spending quality time with them and making sure they feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I understand that every animal has different needs and personalities, so I take the time to help them feel calm, secure, and cared for in their own environment. I’m experienced caring for cats, dogs, and foster animals, including shy and senior pets. I’m reliable, patient, attentive to routines, and happy to provide updates and photos so you can feel confident your pets are in good hands.
About: I grew up being obsessed with animals which has lead me to having a wide range of knowledge and experiences with pets. I’ve volunteered with a cat rescue and worked at a doggy daycare for just under 2 years. While working at the daycare, I learned a lot about handling, medicating, and how to best keep an animal comfortable and happy. I’ve worked with dogs of all ages and from the size of a teacup yorkie to a great dane! I have a very keen eye and can pick up on subtle body language well and pride myself on my understanding of pets. Pet sitting fits naturally into my routine. I have a pretty open schedule that allows me to consistently plan my days around pet care around multiple bookings. I am a very structured person who doesn’t like to be off schedule, just like my cat who knows exactly when it’s time for dinner. I am adaptable for every pets needs, whether that’s walking and playing or just comforting a nervous pet. I will always make sure the pets in my care are not being pushed past their boundaries! I lead with confidence and will always put the pets safety and comfort first. I will ask questions about things I notice on pets or their behavior just in case something isn’t right. I’m the type to leave a place better than I found it and will always be respectful to someone’s home.
About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I grew up with cats, a St. Bernard, as well as farm animals including cows and chickens, which gave me experience with pets of all sizes and personalities from an early age. Today, I’m a proud cat person with four cats of my own and a very loved granddog who keeps me active and reminds me how important daily walks and attention are for happy, healthy dogs. Friends and family regularly trust me to care for their pets while they’re out of town, whether that means drop-in visits, staying with them, or making sure walks, feeding, playtime, and cuddles all happen on schedule. I understand that every pet has their own routine and comfort level, and I take the time to make sure they feel safe, loved, and relaxed while you’re away. My goal is always happy pets and peace of mind for their people. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, allowing me to provide reliable walks and drop-in visits throughout the week. I plan my schedule to ensure pets receive consistent attention, exercise, feeding, and companionship while their owners are away. I enjoy building pet care into my day and giving each visit the time and care every animal deserves. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I follow all feeding, walking, medication, and care instructions carefully while providing plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. I also respect your home, keeping spaces clean and secure while sending updates and photos for peace of mind.
About: I have hands-on experience from interning at a veterinarian clinic and working for a year with a local pet care company similar to Rover. As a pet owner myself (two labs and a tabby cat!), I know how to handle walks, feeding, bathing, medications, and more. Your pet will be in caring and capable hands! 🐾🫶🏼 Between classes and work, Tuesdays, and weekends work best for me! Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday I am pretty busy, but am able to do early mornings and evenings those days! I provide attentive, personalized care by ensuring pets are fed, walked, and given plenty of affection. I follow routines, administer medications if needed, and maintain a safe, comfortable environment in both my home and clients’ homes.

About: My experience with pets comes from spending time around friends’ and family members’ dogs, as well as caring for a cat of my own for a period of time. Through this, I’ve become comfortable with daily responsibilities like feeding, maintaining routines, giving attention, and making sure pets feel safe and relaxed in their environment. I’m newer to formal pet sitting, but I take a very attentive and intentional approach. I understand that every pet is different, so I make it a priority to follow each owner’s instructions closely—whether that’s specific feeding schedules, walk routines, or just how your pet likes to be interacted with. Because I’m currently in physical therapy school and complete my work from home, I’m able to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and a calm environment throughout the day. I’m patient, reliable, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, which helps me build trust with them quickly. My goal is always to make sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away, and that you feel confident knowing they’re in good hands. I typically work on my school schedule from around 12–8 PM, but it is important to note I have classes from 12-1 and 3-4 making me likely not available during those times. I have built-in breaks throughout the day that are flexible. This allows me to step away as needed for walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins. Because I study from home, I’m able to provide consistent supervision and won’t be away for long periods, making it easy to give pets regular attention and care. I prioritize safety by following each pet’s routine closely, keeping a clean and calm environment, and staying attentive to their behavior and needs. In clients’ homes, I respect their space and maintain consistency to reduce stress for pets. I’m careful with doors, leashes, and surroundings during walks and always aim to create a safe, comfortable experience. I also have access to a dog park at my apartment if needed.

Whether your pet needs belly rubs, quiet snuggles, medication, or a bit of extra patience, we’re happy to tailor the experience to meet their needs as we work from home we can provide 24/7 attention. My husband and I both work from home, which means your pet will get plenty of attention, care, and companionship 24/7. We also have 2 adult children who live at home to supplement snuggles and playtime. This also allows for time to send you pictures and videos of your loved ones. We have a fully fenced-in backyard that's perfect for playtime, potty breaks, and safe outdoor fun in our pesticide-free yard. Additionally, we have a split level home if your pet needs some space from our pets. We treat every pet like family, and we'd love to welcome yours into our home or care for them in yours!

I make sure your pet feels happy, secure and right at home. My goal is simple: fun, safe and stress-free care for your furry family! Typically I end work around 4 p.m. Wednesday- Sunday. And depending on how far away or the type of care needed I can check in throughout the day. I have Monday and Tuesday’s off usually so I would be able to watch over pets during those days with all day availability. Working in whatever environment to make the pet feel at peace while their owners are away is super important to me. Mostly, staying with them and watching if anything abnormal is happening. Communication is also key, so taking photos of their day to ensure a safe and enjoyable time is vital.
“Hila was very flexible with a schedule change I had to make due to work. She gave me good pics and updates of how my doggy was doing so I could be sure all was well during the chaos! Much appreciated!”

About: Since I was a kid my idol has always been Steve Irwin, and his admiration and respect for all animals, even dressing up as him with my brothers to go out into nature and learn about all different kinds firsthand. I’ve had the pleasure and privilege of raising just about every kind of domestic animal excluding cattle and horses. So, whether it lives on land, swims in the sea, or soars through the skies, I’ve got it covered, furry, scaled, or feathered. I’ve house sat and taken care of pets for friends and family, since I was a teenager, of all different mannerisms from ghostly skittish to aggressively friendly, rest assured me and your pet will get along just fine. I’m the one you hear people referring to when they say “They usually aren’t this friendly with strangers.” I currently am only working 3 days out of the week, so Friday through Monday I am mostly free to take care of any pets that need looked after in your absence. I have grown up and raised just about every animal you can think of, from rodents to reptiles, birds, cats, dogs and everything in between apart from large cattle and horses, but I love them all the same. I will do my absolute best to ensure that your pet’s wants and needs are met and their daily routines kept uninterrupted in your stead. I do prefer to be introduced to them and shown around their environment prior to taking full care of them so that I may take notes, learn about them, and have a chance to make friends with them before they are left in my care, so that I may ensure they don’t even notice you’re gone. Care for your pets would include ensuring they have access to clean fresh water, food eaten/made available, litterboxes emptied/taken to the bathroom, any medications given, and that ample playtime/pets given for their much needed exercise.

Such a better experience for her than traditional boarding.. I can tell by her mood after I picked her up that she had a great time staying at their house! I will definitely be booking with them for the future !”

“Rachel was outstanding in caring for my pup on our two week vacation! She made us feel very comfortable and connected to our furbaby with her photos, videos, and communication. My dog loves to see her pups and to run with them in her big backyard. I count myself lucky to have found Rachel as a newcomer to Knoxville!”
