Hi! I'm a lifetime animal lover and currently have six fids: a dog (Arlo), two cats (Auggie & Squeaky Cheese), two luv-buns (Emmie & Dutch), and a B&G Macaw (Corona, a.k.a. "Trouble"), though I have had many other kinds of pets in my life. I have been doing pet sitting full-time (24/7) since December of 2022 and take my job caring for your pet(s) very seriously. I am also heavily involved in many facets of wildlife rehab, spending most of my free time helping even more animals when not spending time with my own. I am reliable with a flexible schedule and am not intimidated by L/XL, overly-zealous or “difficult” pets (pulling, excitable, scared/nervous, mouthing, poor social skills, etc.), and my continued experience working with wildlife supports this.

Since I have had many pets in my life, (many living very long, healthy lives: 10 dogs, 11 cats, five Luv-Buns, 10 birds of all sizes (S-XL), three turtles, two iguanas, two pet mice, many types of fish, and many, many fosters, including a pot-bellied pig) I can handle any type of pet you have. In addition, I have previous vet-tech experience. I wipe out bowls and give fresh water before leaving and make sure your house is in the same condition (or better) before I do. To ensure that I am able to take care of your pet(s) and home as well as you do, I will always ask for a detailed care sheet, regardless of how recently we had our meet & greet.

Tara always does an amazing job taking care of my two senior cats when I am out of town! It really puts my mind at ease to know that someone who is so thoughtful and detail-oriented is keeping tabs on my cats while I am away. I would strongly recommend Tara and look forward to working with her in the future!
Tara was fantastic! She became good friends with our anxious girl and made sure she was well looked after. Tara introduced her to new toys and treats to keep her stimulated and gain her trust - not the easiest thing to do. We had regular updates and photos so communication was good. Overall, we were very happy with Tara.
Tara was the best cat sitter I've used so far. She took care to make sure the cat's food and water bowls were cleaned every day, and it didn't take long at all for my kitty to warm up to her and get cuddles while I was away. I will definitely use her again.
Tara took such good care of our Daisy Girl. She definitely went above and beyond to make her feel loved and kept us up to date with notes and pictures while we were on vacation out of the country. Would definitely recommend and use again.
What we do without Tara??? So thankful for how attentive she is to our boys when we travel! We trust her and they love her!! Thank you Tara!

Schedule
My schedule allows me to be available most any time of the day, many times within a few hours of requests. Overnight stays are no problem so long as I have a clean place to sleep and can leave during the day to take care of others and my own.
