About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life, from farm animals to household pets, including seniors and puppies/kittens. I’ve been a foster with Young-Williams Animal Center since 2019 and love providing a safe, happy home for animals who make our lives richer and more loving. I currently work an 8:30 AM–5:00 PM job with a one-hour lunch break and live just five minutes from the office. I also work remotely on Mondays and Fridays, which gives me added flexibility. I have a spare bedroom in my condo, and the space I provide depends on the animal’s size. For kittens, I often use the spare bathroom, keeping them warm with food, water, and a litter box nearby. For dogs, I set up their pen in the spare room with all their supplies. I also have a large fenced-in back patio where dogs can go outside, play, and run safely.

We have always had Bernese Mountain Dogs, so I am particularly adept at caring for active, very large dogs. I just adopted a new puppy a year and a half ago and was refreshed on what they need in their younger years. Would love to meet more furry buddies & can’t wait to love yours! I am currently taking a work hiatus the next few months, so I’m as free as a bird to spend the most time with your pups! Happy to keep pets in their safest environments, ie fenced yard or crate. If you want them out and about, I am extremely cognizant of reactive dogs and will be happy to take them for nice long walks :)
About: In 2020 me and my family started fostering dogs. In that time we fostered over 10 and made sure they got to go to good homes! In that time we also ended up adopting one of the dogs as well. Since then I have always loved being around them. I am an active person and like to be outside and go on walks/runs. I am currently a senior at the University of Tennessee. I would be able to fit in a pet care schedule well with my time. I currently only have one class on Monday and Wednesday and I have 3 on Tuesday and Thursday leaving my fridays wide open. Even without a pet right now I go on 2 walks/runs a day so bringing along a buddy to do so would be no problem! I know for pets especially being around a new person can be very stressful so I always think it is a good idea to meet the dog before actually agreeing to pet sit or talk it on walks to make sure that we are familiar with each other.

Since I moved here I've just been solo with my Goob, and I'm ready to start taking care of dogs again!! While fostering I took care of every make, model, shape, and year of dog, so I can handle any furry friend you send me! I'm working from home at the moment and if im leaving the house I'm going somewhere dog friendly and in nature! I'll always have time to care for your dog! I have completely open availability and im incredibly active, so your pup will always be doing something with me. I go on hikes several times a week, and would be more than happy to pile your pups in my (wag)on -sorry- and take them for a day time adventure!! Im also able to pet sit/board any days of the week.
