About: I have a genuine passion for caring for both dogs and cats, and I truly enjoy spending time with animals of all ages and personalities. I love being active and going on walks, and I’d be thrilled to have your dog join me! I’m currently enrolled in a doctoral program and complete my coursework from home, which gives me full control of my schedule and plenty of flexibility. This allows me to provide attentive, reliable care and accommodate your pet’s needs throughout the day. I am in school full time at home so my schedule is very flexible and likely can adjust to you and your pets personal needs! I have a friendly 30 pound dog who does well with others. I also have a yard for your pet to run and play in!
About: I provide low-volume, personalized boarding for dogs who deserve more than a kennel experience. I intentionally accept only a small number of dogs at a time so every pup receives plenty of attention, supervision, affection, and individualized care. I’ve cared for animals my entire life, including dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, parakeets, and reptiles. As a dental student, attention to detail, communication, and responsibility are a huge part of who I am. One of my favorite parts of pet sitting is getting to know each dog’s unique personality. Whether your pup is energetic, shy, cuddly, food-motivated, or has a very specific routine, I take the time to learn what makes them comfortable and happy so they can truly enjoy their stay. A typical day includes plenty of outdoor playtime in my large fenced backyard, lots of attention, couch naps, treats (with owner approval!), enrichment, and quality one-on-one time. Every dog is different, so I tailor the day to their personality and energy level. Some dogs want to spend hours running around the yard, while others are happiest curled up next to me while I study. Either way, they’ll be included in my daily routine and treated like part of the family. My goal is simple: I want your dog to be excited when they arrive and exhausted from fun when they go home! Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I have a large fenced backyard for secure outdoor play and closely supervise all interactions. Before every stay, I take time to learn your dog’s routine, feeding schedule, sleeping preferences, medications, and any special needs so I can provide the smoothest transition possible. I also provide frequent photo updates and communication throughout the stay because I know how important peace of mind is when you’re away from your pet. My goal is for both you and your dog to feel completely comfortable and cared for.
About: I've taken care of dogs of every age since 14 years old. I have experience working for professional boarding services as well as for friends and family. I love dogs and would love to help care for yours! I'm currently a remote, online university student so my schedule is very flexible and open to any needed care arrangements. I can be there whenever your dog needs. I live in a house with my girlfriend who also works remotely and loves animals. I care about providing a healthy, safe, and enjoyable environment for your pet to stay in. They'll always be treated like family.
About: I have grown up with dogs, and I have a big 110 pound lovable anxious boy dog and I have been trained to build his confidence and take him on enjoyable walks- with lots of patience and treats! I also have a cat and can appreciate all personalities of cats! My schedule is very open and flexible! I am willing to move my own personal schedule around for my clients needs and requests for their pets. I make sure to create an environment to make animals feel safe and spoiled. I appreciate all personalities of animals and make sure they always feel loved!
About: I have been a dog owner my entire life, and currently own 2 of them. I’ve always shown a love for animals! I have spent my entire life with dogs and have taken care of others for family friends and neighbors while they were away. I have also spent a significant amount of time caring for dogs through Rover. As for cats, I have never personally owned any but again have spent a lot of time with them through Rover and love to take care of them! I work 8:30-4:30 as a medical assistant at an ENT Monday through Friday. Other than that, I should be available to take care of your pets! If it’s for drop-in visits, I can make time during my lunch break to let your dog out! In my apartment I will be sure to refill food and water at required times and can go for walks as needed. As for at your home, it is important to know that I am a very calm, gentle, and responsible person and will make sure things go smoothly at your home with whatever requests you have for the visits.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was in college. I’ve been looking after pups ever since. My current best friend is a theee-legged mutt named Jeff and he loves when company comes over. I’m a freelance editor who works from home so I set my own schedule. I keep a pretty regular routine with my own dog. We shouldn’t have any trouble adapting to your pet’s needs. I have a big fenced in backyard and can do most of my work from the screeened in porch. That’s nice because it lets me keep an eye on the pooch while also feeling less like a cave hermit hunched over a keyboard all day.

“Great communication during the booking process and during the daycare stay. Lauryn sent several pictures and videos and Moose had fun and was happy when we picked him up. I would book again!”

About: I’m a natural dog lover with a lifelong connection to animals. I’ve had four Great Danes as part of my family, so I’m very comfortable caring for large breeds and understanding their unique personalities. Spending time outdoors with dogs has always come naturally to me, and I have a strong nurturing instinct that makes caring for animals feel effortless and rewarding. I am very free this summer for June and July. My schedule is very flexible as I am a teacher and I'm not working right now. I provide a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for pets in my home. I live in a large house with plenty of space and a fully fenced backyard where dogs can play, relax, and explore safely. I enjoy daily walks and spending time outdoors, and there’s no better way to enjoy that time than with a pet by my side. I’m attentive, nurturing, and committed to making sure every pet feels loved, secure, and part of the family while they’re with me.
About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was 5 years old when I got my first puppy. Everyone in my family has 3+ dogs, so I have grown up taking care of dogs of all breeds and sizes. The smallest behind a teacup yorkie and the biggest being a full size golden doodle! I have experience in training golden retrievers/poodle/bloodhound/huskey/yorkie breeds since I own them myself, and got them when they very young. I am currently a junior student at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I own a car, so transportation is not a problem for me. Being a student I have all online classes. This frees my schedule to come by and care for your pet whenever needed! In my home I care for my dogs very well. I give them weekly baths and daily walks to make sure they are staying clean and getting exercise in. I never leave them alone for more than 2 hours because dogs get lonely and they deserve to be treated the same as humans. I also care for my dogs diet. Always making sure I am feeding them the best food and supplements for their coat and digestive system.

I am happy to come to your home and follow whatever routine works for your furry friend. I can take dogs on walks in nearby parks or drive them somewhere if they’re comfortable in cars!
About: I’m a dog lover with a flexible schedule that allows me to provide 24/7 care for your Pups. I own my own home with plenty of indoor space, a large fenced in yard, dog beds, toys and a safe neighbourhood to go on long walks. In addition to caring for my own pets over the years I have been pet sitting since I was a teenager and have fostered and rehomed a number of strays that found their way to my door. I have no formal teaching as a dog trainer but I lived for 7 years with a professional dog trainer and, in addition to helping train their pack, I assisted their work with clients rehabilitating fearful and aggressive dogs. Because I work for myself and most of my work is done from home I am avalible to give your pets ample time and attention. It is easy for me to adjust to their particular feeding, medication and potty schedules and I am rarely gone from the house for more than 2 hours at a time. I have a pet and child free home which allows me to create a safe stay for older and anxious pets that need comfort and quiet, as well as dogs that do not play will with others. Dogs that stay here have the run of the first floor. I have dog beds, a basket of toys (inside and out) a food and water dish that gets sterilised in the dishwasher between stays and ample treats to spoil them with. Pups that are used to sleeping in the bed room or in bed join me upstairs at bed time. I allow pets on my furniture unless that is against the rules at home, in which case I will respect your rules and snuggle them on the floor! If your dog is used to using a crate please be prepared to bring that with you as I do not have one in my home. The yard is large and fully fenced and secure. I do not leave pups outside unattended to assure safety but dogs who like to be outside will get lots of play time chasing tennis balls and lounging in the shade while I garden. Poo is picked up as it’s left for general cleanliness and sanitation. I only house one family of dogs at a time for ease and safety. There are occasional exceptions but only with explicit consent from both families and a trial intro to make sure everyone gets along well. I do not charge an additional dog rate for a second dog but each additional dog after two (third or fourth) will be a +30$ a night.
About: *NOW ACCEPTING SAME DAY BOOKINGS* Hello! I grew up with all sorts of fuzzy and scaly creatures and will love yours as if they were my own! Now, let's be honest, this economy is not the best. And besides a desire to pay off some debt, I am a working girl just trying to get outside more! In booking me for walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays, be assured, it will be the highlight of my day, and I will be full of energy for your little buddies! A little about me if you would like to know more.... During the day, I work with our unhoused neighbors as a case manager, helping them get to medical, housing, and other appointments. Much of my job used to be outside, but in recent months, I have been inside much more often, hence my desire to get back into dog walking and drop-in visits. I do my best to update my schedule as my availability changes, so if there are ever any changes, you will be the first to know. In the time I am scheduled, I promise to take care of your fur babies to the best of my ability. I appreciate the opportunity, and I look forward to meeting you and your furry loved ones! I work 8a-5p as a health outreach case manager here in Knoxville, but the job is very flexible with breaks and WFH availability. With at least an hour's notice, I can be at your house for a walk/ drop-in visit! I have a preferred list of un-/leashed dog parks and spaces where your pets can socialize, but that will depend on your needs and desires for my service. I have experience house sitting for weeks at a time, as well as stop-in visits. Sadly, I don’t have the capacity to board pets at this time, but that may change in the future!

About: I have not only had dogs of my own, I also have 10 years experience in dog sitting. I am happy to take them on up to four walks a day and to the dog park if that is your preference. I will make sure to enforce any train/rules you want me to follow. I’m a part time teacher so the longest I am gone most days is 4 hour increments. I am available for boarding, walks, and play time all week! I am a part time teacher so I work from 8-12 on weekdays, leaving me plenty of time to offer your pet care and attention. I will always stick to the training, rules, and routines you have set up for your animals. I have plenty of time for animals that may require more attention, and no animals of my own in the home.

I’m a PT student at LMU, so I keep a pretty full but adaptable schedule. That said, I’m usually available most afternoons after 5 and have lots of flexibility on weekends. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine—I love winding down with walks, playtime, or just hanging out with a furry friend! Wherever I’m caring for pets, I do my best to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. About: I have cared for cats and dogs my entire life! My family had multiple pets at all times growing up. I am a cat mom myself with shared custody with my twin sister. I offer a pet stranger free home with my own cats staying with my sister while I have guest pets. 🐈 I first began pet sitting in college and primarily serviced young adults and college students. Thus, I have always offered an affordable rate so that regular people can obtain pet sitting services without having to pay expensive boarding fees. 🐶 Although I just started using Rover, I have been sitting for years through friends, family, and referrals! I can provide references for those I have serviced in the past that have not been through the app. 🐈 I am a former President, Vice President, and class representative of the Animal Legal Defense Fund at the University of Tennessee College of Law. I am available any day of the week for boarding. 🐈 Currently, I am not accepting bookings over 2 months in advance. 🐈 For drop in visits and walks, I am available Mon-Fri between 7:30-8:30 a.m., 11:30-1:30 p.m., and after 6 p.m. Available all day Saturday and Sunday beginning 9 a.m. 🐶 Drop off and pickups must occur between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. 🐈 Meet and greets must occur in the evening and are offered at Sutree Landing Park. Your pets become mine for a few days! I would care for them as if they were my own. I let pets staying in my home on the furniture and sleep in my bed. If you would like pictures of my home to see where your pet would be staying, feel free to ask! My personal pets vacate my home and stay with their other parent while I am sitting to eliminate conflicts with guest pets. 🐈 I send as many pictures as you want and I am available by text all day.
“Laura is amazing! She is caring and kept us up to date with pictures and text messages. When our Allie wasn’t eating, she coaxed her by hand feeding her and made sure she was getting her meds. I 100% recommend Laura and will be using her again when needed.”

“Savannah had a good time with Joe, she got to go on walks, have her treats and just chill out on his couch with him. It didn't take her very long to roll over to get her tummy rubbed, either. Joe kept me updated with photos of her and I texted him with little things I forgot to mention. We will definitely be having Joe take care of her again!”

“She did a great job with Charli ! She was always sending pictures and videos and informing me of how Charli was doing . Charli loved her child and they played with each other a lot so much that charli was exhausted and slept the rest of the night once she got home . Will be rebooking with her !”

“Somer is awesome! I was in a pinch, and she was able to watch my dog for 4 days with only a day notice! She gave me updates and sent photos! Definitely recommend her and will be using her again!”

“Sallie was amazing! Penny was very happy staying with her. She got lots of walking and play time and snuggles at night. Sallie was very responsive and flexible and sent lots of photos and videos. We definitely will plan on future stays with her!”

“Rachel was outstanding in caring for my pup on our two week vacation! She made us feel very comfortable and connected to our furbaby with her photos, videos, and communication. My dog loves to see her pups and to run with them in her big backyard. I count myself lucky to have found Rachel as a newcomer to Knoxville!”

“Our dog had a fabulous time, made new friends (both dog and human) and was very well taken care of during her time there. We do not hesitate to recommend Nicole and Dexter to other pet parents!”

“Katie was absolutely wonderful with my Maltese dog Maddy, She was attentive, kind, and really took the time to make sure my dog felt safe and settled. I loved how communicative she was throughout the stay—sending updates and little notes that helped me relax knowing Maddy was in good hands. It’s clear Katie genuinely cares about animals, and Maddy picked up on that immediately. She came home happy, calm, and clearly well cared for. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Katie again, and I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone warm, reliable, and truly attuned to pets’ needs. Thank you, Katie—you were amazing”
