“Kristy is wonderful! I would recommend her to anyone. She treated our dog as her own; sent daily updates including pictures and videos. Daisy had such a great time I’m convinced she didn’t even want to come home! We will absolutely be using Kristy anytime we need a dog sitter!”

“Andrew was great and took good care of my boy Leroy. His dog Jeff is a sweetie and I would definitely book with Andrew again so Leroy has both a human and canine companion he likes while I’m away!”

“Kasara did an amazing job with Mia. She got her meds and supplements. She also was hand fed because she was a little nervous do to the heavy storms. He kept her all snuggly as well. We will be back!”

“I’m so glad that I found Lauren! She was amazing in taking care of my two fur babies. This was my first time using Rover, and I was somewhat nervous in leaving them with a stranger. That nervousness disappeared very quickly when Lauren communicated to me on a daily basis by sending pictures and/or videos as to how they were doing. They were exhausted when I brought them home so I know they had a great time. Knowing that they were being very well taken care of was such a relief. I will definitely be a return customer and highly recommend Lauren for your pet sitting needs!!”

“Laura is amazing! She is caring and kept us up to date with pictures and text messages. When our Allie wasn’t eating, she coaxed her by hand feeding her and made sure she was getting her meds. I 100% recommend Laura and will be using her again when needed.”

“This was my first time using Rover and it was excellent. Very flexible and even came to pick up on campus during a Tennessee game – it let me take my little buddy with me for longer and then since it was a night game she watched him and he seemed very happy. Excellent job!”

“Erin was amazing with my dogs! Regular updates and pics, took them on adventures and played with them. Gave them all the snuggles and love we couldn't because we were traveling. I will 100% be using her again!”

“Allyson and Tyler were so great with Daisy!! They truly treated her like family and she had such a great time playing with the other dogs!! Such a better experience for her than traditional boarding.. I can tell by her mood after I picked her up that she had a great time staying at their house! I will definitely be booking with them for the future !”

“Riley enjoyed her stay with Joe! (As I expected she would.) He was very attentive to her needs and needs. They liked to take walks and watch the same flicks on tv, while chilling on the couch with his hand scratching her head just how she likes it. I picked him because he is retired and could give her the 1:1 attention that she craves. He kept me updated and I felt very comfortable with leaving my little miss in his capable hands. She will be back for more stays in the future. Joe, Riley thanks you too!”

About: I go beyond basic pet sitting by building trust with both pets and owners. I’m patient, reliable, and attentive to each pet’s unique personality and needs. Whether it’s helping reinforce puppy training, keeping up with high-energy dogs, or providing calm, compassionate care for senior pets, I always make sure your pet feels cared for and comfortable. I’m currently studying for my physical therapy boards, which allows me to be home throughout the day and have a very flexible schedule for pet care. Because of this, I’m able to provide consistent attention, frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, feedings, and companionship rather than leaving pets alone for long periods. In both my home and a client’s home, I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. I make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, fresh water, meals on schedule, and, of course, lots of affection. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions carefully to help pets feel comfortable in their familiar environment. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel reassured while they’re away.

About: I have been a dog owner my entire life, and currently own 2 of them. I’ve always shown a love for animals! I have spent my entire life with dogs and have taken care of others for family friends and neighbors while they were away. I have also spent a significant amount of time caring for dogs through Rover. As for cats, I have never personally owned any but again have spent a lot of time with them through Rover and love to take care of them! I work 8:30-4:30 as a medical assistant at an ENT Monday through Friday. Other than that, I should be available to take care of your pets! If it’s for drop-in visits, I can make time during my lunch break to let your dog out! In my apartment I will be sure to refill food and water at required times and can go for walks as needed. As for at your home, it is important to know that I am a very calm, gentle, and responsible person and will make sure things go smoothly at your home with whatever requests you have for the visits.

This frees my schedule to come by and care for your pet whenever needed! In my home I care for my dogs very well. About: I grew up in a family of dog lovers and have lived with and cared for 1 to 3 dogs my entire life! I have cared for dogs of varying breeds ranging from puppies and small dogs all the way to a 150+ pound Great Dane. I have two pups: an extremely friendly almost 3 year old re-homed golden doodle and a rambunctious 10 month old mixed breed rescue. I have lived with and/or cared for a Great Dane, husky/malamute, boxer, pitbull mixes, chow chow mix, among many others. I’ve dealt with resource guarding, have experience with senior care, and am excellent with basic command training. I would love to meet your pups and help make their lives even more enriching! I am currently doing freelance work from home as well as working at a restaurant. My schedule varies a bit week to week, but I usually have plenty of time for drop in visits and walks! I am happy to come to your home and follow whatever routine works for your furry friend. I can take dogs on walks in nearby parks or drive them somewhere if they’re comfortable in cars!
About: I’m a dog lover with a flexible schedule that allows me to provide 24/7 care for your Pups. I own my own home with plenty of indoor space, a large fenced in yard, dog beds, toys and a safe neighbourhood to go on long walks. In addition to caring for my own pets over the years I have been pet sitting since I was a teenager and have fostered and rehomed a number of strays that found their way to my door. I have no formal teaching as a dog trainer but I lived for 7 years with a professional dog trainer and, in addition to helping train their pack, I assisted their work with clients rehabilitating fearful and aggressive dogs. Because I work for myself and most of my work is done from home I am avalible to give your pets ample time and attention. It is easy for me to adjust to their particular feeding, medication and potty schedules and I am rarely gone from the house for more than 2 hours at a time. I have a pet and child free home which allows me to create a safe stay for older and anxious pets that need comfort and quiet, as well as dogs that do not play will with others. Dogs that stay here have the run of the first floor. I have dog beds, a basket of toys (inside and out) a food and water dish that gets sterilised in the dishwasher between stays and ample treats to spoil them with. Pups that are used to sleeping in the bed room or in bed join me upstairs at bed time. I allow pets on my furniture unless that is against the rules at home, in which case I will respect your rules and snuggle them on the floor! If your dog is used to using a crate please be prepared to bring that with you as I do not have one in my home. The yard is large and fully fenced and secure. I do not leave pups outside unattended to assure safety but dogs who like to be outside will get lots of play time chasing tennis balls and lounging in the shade while I garden. Poo is picked up as it’s left for general cleanliness and sanitation. I only house one family of dogs at a time for ease and safety. There are occasional exceptions but only with explicit consent from both families and a trial intro to make sure everyone gets along well. I do not charge an additional dog rate for a second dog but each additional dog after two (third or fourth) will be a +30$ a night.
About: With years of experience caring for all kinds of animals—from cats and dogs to guinea pigs, ferrets, rabbits, and more. I have a huge heart for all furry friends. I've welcomed so many pets into my home, from beloved companions to strays and rescues looking for love. Every animal deserves kindness and attention, and I take pride in creating a safe, cozy space for them. Whether it's snuggling with a dog, playing with a curious cat, or helping a shy pet feel safe, I treat every animal like family. Let me give your pet the same love and care I’ve shared with all the animals in my life! Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine. As an Equine-Assisted Psychotherapist (I get to work with people and animals at the same time, it truly doesn't get any better), I have the flexibility to work when I choose, which allows me to prioritize pet care and accommodate various schedules. This means I can give your pets the time and attention they need, whether it's daily visits, longer stays, or just making sure they're happy and comfortable throughout the day. I’ll make sure your pet feels comfortable and happy by maintaining their usual routine, whether that means sticking to specific feeding times, favorite toys, or daily walks. I take extra care to notice the details that matter to them—whether it’s a particular spot they love to nap in or their favorite way to play—so they feel secure and content in your absence. My goal is to make everything easy and stress-free for both you and your pet. By keeping things familiar and showering them with love, I’ll ensure your furry friend feels happy, safe, and well cared for.

I have a 10-year-old Lab/Blue Heeler mix named Ava and a 4-year-old cat named Pingly, and they both mean the world to me. I treat every pet I care for with the same love, patience, and attention that I give my own. I’m comfortable caring for dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and personalities, and I’m happy to help with walks, feedings, playtime, medication administration, drop-in visits, or overnight care, whatever your pet needs to feel happy and comfortable. About: Do you have an adult or senior dog, and you just need an extra hand sometimes? I recently lost my two loves to age and chronic disease. Some days were really hard. Keeping up with meds. Trying to get them to eat. Making sure they got frequent enough potty breaks, or the inevitable accidents because getting older makes control just a little more difficult. I'd like to help. When our babies get old, sometimes those are the sweetest years that we'll get to spend with them, but it's also a lot of work. I can help by checking in on your dog. I can help feed them, or make sure they get their meds, or give them an extra potty break. Do you need an extra set of hands to help give them a bath or a nail trim? Are there other tasks you just don't have time or ability to do? I can help. I have a lifetime of experience caring for pets. From my own cats, dogs and even a pony, to nearly 10 years in the boarding and daycare business, I have experience with caring for hundreds of pets. Each one of them with unique personalities and needs. I have experience with all ages of pets, including seniors and those who need special care. I understand when your pet may need extra time, patience, and attention. I am also trained in pet first-aid and CPR. Because we are now a dogless family :( , I can now open my home to some pups, as long as they're okay around cats (including a spicy kitten.) Weekend daycare (with fun outings if you like!) and boarding is now available in addition to my drop in visits. HOUSE RULES: Because we do have two kitties and full-time jobs, all boarding dogs must be crate trained should we need to separate them, or during work. This is for everyone's safety. Dogs will never be crated more than 4 hours at a time. We only accept dogs who are cat friendly. I do work in an office Monday through Friday, however in my evenings and weekends I am committed to the love and care of your pet. I am able to stop back home mid-day, so your pet will never go more than 4 hours without a potty break. My services are ideal if you work an evening shift, or have long workdays, or are planning to be away from home for extended hours on the weekend. For boarding and day care, my home is their home. We allow dogs on the furniture (unless you don't and then we'll day consistent with your rules.) New dogs must be crate-trained and will be crated when left unattended. We have a xl crate, so plenty of room for comfort. For drop-in visits, I know your home is your sanctuary and will treat it as such. Please outline any rules or limitations you may have for visiting your pet.

About: I am 31 and I have worked in retail at a pet store and doggy daycare for the past two years. I previously worked at another dog kennel, where I would take care of dogs in the best way possible! I walk, exercise, feed, medicate, clean, and occasionally bathe dogs! I have dealt with senior dogs who must be medicate at certain times, to the smallest puppy who must eat at certain times. I am reliable, responsible, and will care for your fur baby like my very own! I will say I am NOT good with plants, sadly. Not sure why. I water them and let them get sun but they still die. I killed my cactus in about 3 days 😐 If you have plants to care for I will water them and make sure they get enough sunlight, but that hasn't worked so far, but I will do my best! I have certian availability and reliable transportation, as well as a love and passion for animal care. I am willing to travel to meet you and your fur baby. I follow your exact instructions when it comes to the care and needs of your pets. When it comes to your pet's safety, I work diligently to protect your fur baby and keep you at piece of mind!
About: Specifically I understand the needs of French Bulldogs in certain weather conditions. I also understand other short legged friends that need accommodations and have restrictions such as jumping off furniture or when playing not throwing things too high. I run my own business but have a flexible schedule. I am also a grad student who is about to graduate and will open more time in my schedule. Currently I am available various times during the week with a lot of availability on the weekends. My pup has accommodations in every room of the house. I make sure he has the right food bowls for his breed (elevated and tilted). He also has a variety of toys and doggy door to go sunbathe or potty anytime of the day. I understand cleaning up after our furry friends and making sure they have exactly what they need.
About: I’ve been blessed to have several dogs in my life and I have treated each one with love and respect! Currently, Emmitt the golden doodle (9 years old) is my fur baby and I love him with all of my heart. He is so sweet and lovable and gets along great with other dogs! I can’t wait to get to know your fur baby and spend time with him or her! I love to take dogs on walks and care for them as if they were my own. I live near a dog park and I also have a quiet small suburb area in which I live in. It would be my pleasure to put your mind at ease when it comes to your furry family member’s safety and care!
“Brooke has been amazing with taking my dog on walks to make sure he gets exercise while I have to be gone. She is also quick to respond and very professional! Highly recommend!”

I realize this is a big responsibility and I will make sure you feel safe with me caring for your animal/s.I have experience with bunnies too! I do work full time in person so I am only able to care for your pet every 8 hrs, unless you’re right by my work place in north Knox! I am respectful of clients homes and leave them in better condition than when I initially enter them. I’ll vacuum or sweep if you’d like, I don’t mind at all. “Jordyn was awesome!! We left our fur buddy with her and her partner for 3 and 1/2 days and he was so well looked after. She was great about communicating how he was doing and sent some great photos! Will definitely be booking with Jordyn again in the future!”

“Katie was absolutely wonderful with my Maltese dog Maddy, She was attentive, kind, and really took the time to make sure my dog felt safe and settled. I loved how communicative she was throughout the stay—sending updates and little notes that helped me relax knowing Maddy was in good hands. It’s clear Katie genuinely cares about animals, and Maddy picked up on that immediately. She came home happy, calm, and clearly well cared for. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Katie again, and I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone warm, reliable, and truly attuned to pets’ needs. Thank you, Katie—you were amazing”
About: I have cared for cats and dogs my entire life! My family had multiple pets at all times growing up. I am a cat mom myself with shared custody with my twin sister. I offer a pet stranger free home with my own cats staying with my sister while I have guest pets. 🐈 I first began pet sitting in college and primarily serviced young adults and college students. Thus, I have always offered an affordable rate so that regular people can obtain pet sitting services without having to pay expensive boarding fees. 🐶 Although I just started using Rover, I have been sitting for years through friends, family, and referrals! I can provide references for those I have serviced in the past that have not been through the app. 🐈 I am a former President, Vice President, and class representative of the Animal Legal Defense Fund at the University of Tennessee College of Law. I am available any day of the week for boarding. 🐈 Currently, I am not accepting bookings over 2 months in advance. 🐈 For drop in visits and walks, I am available Mon-Fri between 7:30-8:30 a.m., 11:30-1:30 p.m., and after 6 p.m. Available all day Saturday and Sunday beginning 9 a.m. 🐶 Drop off and pickups must occur between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. 🐈 Meet and greets must occur in the evening and are offered at Sutree Landing Park. Your pets become mine for a few days! I would care for them as if they were my own. I let pets staying in my home on the furniture and sleep in my bed. If you would like pictures of my home to see where your pet would be staying, feel free to ask! My personal pets vacate my home and stay with their other parent while I am sitting to eliminate conflicts with guest pets. 🐈 I send as many pictures as you want and I am available by text all day.
