“I’m so thankful for Jenny, she was the best. This was the first time he was away from home & Rippy was high strung as he’s a new puppy. She made me feel so secure & was so good to our puppy the first he was gone from home. I’d recommend her time & time again! Thankful for her!”

“Amazing as always! I don’t ever even consider using anyone else because Millie loves spending time with them and sometimes I’m convinced she doesn’t want to come home with me after visiting with them. Love love love using this family and trust them with Millie completely.”

“This is our first time with Sandra. We are extremely happy with her level of care and affection for Coco. She sent great pictures and admitted that Coco slept with Sandra…which we know Coco relished. We definitely recommend Sandra and we will have other opportunities for Coco to enjoy Sandra and her two dogs.”

“This was one of the best experiences I’ve had when it comes to housing my babies. They had a great time with Lauryn and her family. The interaction was amazing. I have a ton of pictures and videos of them acting like they were residents at this home. I’m very pleased with the care they received. You could tell that this was a home that loved dogs. My babies were comfortable, relaxed and entertained. This means the world to me. Lauryn we love you! If you will have us, we will definitely be back. This was a home away from home experience for my dogs.”

“I had a wonderful experience with Deanna. She was flexible and communicative and took wonderful care of my older dog. Pearl can be a little shy and nervous but she had a wonderful time and was clearly so comfortable right away. Would absolutely stay with her again!”

“Anna was great! In the photos she sent of my cat, Archie, you could almost hear the purring. He obviously got spa treatment with petting, brushing and play. I would definitely hire her again.”

“Crystal was wonderful! She’s incredibly kind, she’s super easy to get ahold of, and we always looked forward to her updates about our kitty! Plus, our kitty seemed to love her! We will definitely be looking to book with her again for our next trip!”

“Allison is great! She faithfully visited Rowan twice a day and kept him sane. She took care of all his needs, but most importantly, she played with him and interacted with him for a substantial amount of time. Plus sending us photos, of course. We will definitely book with Allison again!”

“Ms. Jordan has been wonderful! From the initial interview meeting to scheduled then cancelled visits, to the real thing - she's been very communicative. Our fur kids loved her visit, and I did too. We received updates and pics. We're grateful to have found her! I hate to recommend her though because that means she may be too bust and not able to come when we need her. ;-) I won't be selfish like that though. Thank you, Ms. Jordan.”

“Jessi is absolutely wonderful and took incredible care of our pack while we were away! We could tell from regular updates with adorable photos they were being well cared for and loved. It was such a relief knowing our fur babies were in such capable and caring hands. If you’re looking for someone reliable, responsible, and truly passionate about animals, Jessi is the best, and we’ll definitely be booking them again. Highly recommend!”

“Helena worked around a hiccup with the app and was so understanding and accommodating! She got our shy kitty to warm up to her the first day and he was always excited to see her. She sent great videos and pictures and was responsive to messages. I am very pleased to say the least! And my little Finn is smitten.”

“Brooke was amazing and we will definitely be using her again. My cats can be picky about who they engage with and after a couple of days, my girls were comfortable being around Brooke. Brooke keep us updated and I wanna say left our home better than we left it. 100% use Brooke for all your pet sitter needs.”

“Izzy did a great job watching my cat while I was away. She kept him entertained, made sure he was taken care of, and paid attention to all his needs. It was a relief knowing he was in good hands the whole time. Thank you Izzy!”

About: I’ve been around cats since I was a kid. My mom had 2 cats that I helped take care of for years, and now I have a cat that’s been my companion for the last 8 years. I admire their intelligence and curiosity and I have always been very attentive when it comes to learning the personality of each and every cat I take care of, young or old.
About: I have always grown up with dogs, since I was a young child I have shared the responsibilities of caring for a family dog. We have always had Bernese Mountain Dogs, so I am particularly adept at caring for active, very large dogs. Growing up I always cared for friend's, family's, and neighbors dogs while they were away on trips, or busy with work. This gave me the ability to care for a diverse profile of dogs with diverse, individualized needs. I am responsible and will closely follow the instructions left to provide your animal with the care it requires. While my experience is primarily with dogs, I also have experience caring for cats for my friends and family as well. In addition to providing your pet with high-quality care, I will also ensure that it feels secure, safe, and loved, even in your temporary absence. I have experience with dogs with high- anxiety, specifically separation anxiety, and I know how to calm your pet in these scenarios. Being apart from your furry loved one can be a time of anxiety for both you and your pet, but I will be sure to provide exceptional care to ease the anxieties of all involved. Overall, I am extremely loving, caring, and responsible, and feel I am an excellent choice to care for your pet. I am currently a Physician Assistant student, so I am busy during most of the day from 8-4, however I have breaks and can stop by to let your dog out or have a romp with them if needed. Other than that, my evenings, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays are entirely open, allowing me to dedicate much attention to your pet! I will be sure to accurately and closely follow all instructions that you leave regarding your pets care. I am comfortable with crating dogs if that is your desire. I am also quite adept at "pet proofing' your or my home before leaving, to ensure there is no trouble your animal could get into. My home has a fenced in yard and one very friendly Bernese Mountain Dog, though I could make arrangements for him to reside elsewhere during your pets stay if that is your desire.
About: Hi! I’m a former vet tech who loves caring for dogs of all kinds. Since I work from home most of the week, I have lots of flexibility for long walks, quick potty breaks, dog-park fetch sessions, or trips around town. I’m currently without my own dog, so I can’t wait to enjoy some quality companionship with yours! Especially love the big, older dogs but I’m also happy to help with younger pups! I work from home part of the week and I am home during the weekends so I’m happy to spend lots of quality time with your furry friend! I also have neighbors who work from home so if there’s ever anything needed when I am at the office, there will always be help available. In my home, depending on what you do at your home, I am happy to have the dog in a crate or free range. I also have a large patio so we can enjoy some sunshine time together as well. My complex does have a dog park and we live next to a walking trail so outside time will not be an issue however if your dog loves just snuggling and staying indoors. I am fine with that vibe as well.

“I can’t thank Claire enough for the amazing care she gave my three cats over the past 8 weeks! From the very first visit, it was clear how much she truly love animals. Each of my cats has their own personality, and Claire took the time to connect with all of them — even my shy one came out for cuddles every visit! Her updates and photos were such a comfort while I was away. I could tell the cats were happy, well-fed, and totally spoiled with attention. The litter boxes were completely changed many times and everything done exactly as I asked. It’s not easy to find someone you can completely trust with your pets, but Claire is that person. I came home to three relaxed, happy kitties — the best sign of all. I’m so grateful for the care and love she put into every visit and will absolutely book again. Highly recommend! 🐾💜🐾”

“I cannot recommend Taylor enough as a cat sitter! She took exceptional care of my cats, going above and beyond to ensure they were happy and well taken care of. Not only did she keep their litter clean and made sure they were well-fed, but she also took the time to comb and play with them, which made a huge difference. My cats are typically very shy, but Taylor's gentle and patient approach won them over, and they warmed up to her surprisingly quickly. It's clear she genuinely loves animals, and I had complete peace of mind knowing my fur babies were in such capable hands. Will rebook in future!”

About: I’ve been walking and caring for dogs for the past 7 years and truly enjoy spending time with animals. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I love being active and going on walks, and I’d be thrilled to have your dog join me! I’m currently enrolled in a doctoral program and complete my coursework from home, which gives me full control of my schedule and plenty of flexibility. About: I provide low-volume, personalized boarding for dogs who deserve more than a kennel experience. I intentionally accept only a small number of dogs at a time so every pup receives plenty of attention, supervision, affection, and individualized care. I’ve cared for animals my entire life, including dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, parakeets, and reptiles. As a dental student, attention to detail, communication, and responsibility are a huge part of who I am. One of my favorite parts of pet sitting is getting to know each dog’s unique personality. Whether your pup is energetic, shy, cuddly, food-motivated, or has a very specific routine, I take the time to learn what makes them comfortable and happy so they can truly enjoy their stay. A typical day includes plenty of outdoor playtime in my large fenced backyard, lots of attention, couch naps, treats (with owner approval!), enrichment, and quality one-on-one time. Every dog is different, so I tailor the day to their personality and energy level. Some dogs want to spend hours running around the yard, while others are happiest curled up next to me while I study. Either way, they’ll be included in my daily routine and treated like part of the family. My goal is simple: I want your dog to be excited when they arrive and exhausted from fun when they go home! Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I have a large fenced backyard for secure outdoor play and closely supervise all interactions. Before every stay, I take time to learn your dog’s routine, feeding schedule, sleeping preferences, medications, and any special needs so I can provide the smoothest transition possible. I also provide frequent photo updates and communication throughout the stay because I know how important peace of mind is when you’re away from your pet. My goal is for both you and your dog to feel completely comfortable and cared for.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was in college. I’ve been looking after pups ever since. My current best friend is a theee-legged mutt named Jeff and he loves when company comes over. I’m a freelance editor who works from home so I set my own schedule. I keep a pretty regular routine with my own dog. We shouldn’t have any trouble adapting to your pet’s needs. I have a big fenced in backyard and can do most of my work from the screeened in porch. That’s nice because it lets me keep an eye on the pooch while also feeling less like a cave hermit hunched over a keyboard all day.
“Julianne was so wonderful with Andi for doggy day care! Lots of pets, toys, and pictures. Andi got exactly what she needed which was a long nap and snuggles. Julianne was very responsive and easy to work with. Will definitely use her again if ever in town!”

I will follow any house rules, schedules, or care instructions you have to make sure your pet feels comfortable and secure in their own environment. I love going on walks and am always happy to take dogs on adventures, get in plenty of playtime, or simply provide companionship and cuddles based on their personality and needs.
About: I have grown up with dogs, and I have a big 110 pound lovable anxious boy dog and I have been trained to build his confidence and take him on enjoyable walks- with lots of patience and treats! I also have a cat and can appreciate all personalities of cats! My schedule is very open and flexible! I am willing to move my own personal schedule around for my clients needs and requests for their pets. I make sure to create an environment to make animals feel safe and spoiled. I appreciate all personalities of animals and make sure they always feel loved!
About: Been pet sitting since I was in high school for all sorts of dogs and cats, and currently working in a clinic as a vet assistant. Currently a university student and working part time, most of my availability is on weekends or on evenings but I am able to make time! I love to keep animals company and love on them, play with them, whatever they need! I am comfortable with large and small dogs, old or young, and cats as well!!
About: 2+ years of experience in kennel and veterinary settings- working with both cats and dogs with a variety of temperaments and ensuring their best experience while boarding! Dog and cat sitting experience for 10+ friends and family members countless times- comfortable with talks and indoor enrichment activities regardless of species. I currently work part-time during weekends, meaning I'm usually free Monday-Friday to play with and walked pups and cats whenever they need it! With my years of experience working with vet clinics and adjacent boarding facilities, I am comfortable working with animals with a variety of sizes and temperaments. I am more than comfortable to play inside, take dogs (or cats, if you want) on long walks, play outside, and monitor behavior to ensure beloved pets remain safe and healthy in the heat of summer.
About: I’ve been walking and caring for dogs for the past 7 years and truly enjoy spending time with animals. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I also cared for my own 15-year-old dog, including helping with diapers, medication, and other senior care needs, so I’m comfortable providing extra patience and attention when needed. I’m reliable, responsible, and will always treat your dog with the same love and care as my own. I’m currently taking two online classes, which don’t take up much of my day, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pet the attention they deserve. Because of this, I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and lots of one-on-one care throughout the day to make sure they feel comfortable and loved. I live right on campus in a safe, pet-friendly area, so your dog will get plenty of exercise and fresh air. I’m able to take them on walks around the friendly neighborhood and down to the courtyard as often as needed for potty breaks, playtime, and enrichment. I’ll always follow your pet’s routine, prioritize their safety, and treat them like they’re my own!

About: I work at an ER and specialty medicine clinic so have truly seen it all with dogs of all ages. I work primarily on an internal medicine team and often pick up ER shifts. I have finished my first year of veterinary school and will continue to my second year in the fall, so have all sorts of knowledge about your dog(s)! I grew up with dogs, and have worked as a dog sitter/caretaker for years. My roles have ranged from daily care to basic grooming. I worked as a dog walker for a summer as well, and assisted with grooming this dog in addition to overall basic care. Overall, these qualifications make me an excellent caretaker for your loved ones! I work 8 am-8 pm at a veterinary hospital Monday-Wednesday. Other than that, I got to church Sunday mornings. I’m free the rest of the time! I care for the pets in a client’s home with a holistic approach. I ask specific questions to make sure I understand the animal’s needs and routine before or upon arriving. I want to fit into the animal’s life as an asset to their wellbeing, not as a stressor working against it. I read or listen carefully to instruction to make sure I am well equipped to go above and beyond in loving your pets. They will be my first priority during the time they are in my care, rest assured.
About: I have cared for cats and dogs my entire life! My family had multiple pets at all times growing up. I am a cat mom myself with shared custody with my twin sister. I offer a pet stranger free home with my own cats staying with my sister while I have guest pets. 🐈 I first began pet sitting in college and primarily serviced young adults and college students. Thus, I have always offered an affordable rate so that regular people can obtain pet sitting services without having to pay expensive boarding fees. 🐶 Although I just started using Rover, I have been sitting for years through friends, family, and referrals! I can provide references for those I have serviced in the past that have not been through the app. 🐈 I am a former President, Vice President, and class representative of the Animal Legal Defense Fund at the University of Tennessee College of Law. I am available any day of the week for boarding. 🐈 Currently, I am not accepting bookings over 2 months in advance. 🐈 For drop in visits and walks, I am available Mon-Fri between 7:30-8:30 a.m., 11:30-1:30 p.m., and after 6 p.m. Available all day Saturday and Sunday beginning 9 a.m. 🐶 Drop off and pickups must occur between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. 🐈 Meet and greets must occur in the evening and are offered at Sutree Landing Park. Your pets become mine for a few days! I would care for them as if they were my own. I let pets staying in my home on the furniture and sleep in my bed. If you would like pictures of my home to see where your pet would be staying, feel free to ask! My personal pets vacate my home and stay with their other parent while I am sitting to eliminate conflicts with guest pets. 🐈 I send as many pictures as you want and I am available by text all day.

“Erin was graciously able to help me out on a short notice. She sent photos of the dogs to let me know how well they were setting in - that was very comforting to see they were doing well. Thank you for being so kind and helpful. I highly recommend her.”

“Andrew was great and took good care of my boy Leroy. His dog Jeff is a sweetie and I would definitely book with Andrew again so Leroy has both a human and canine companion he likes while I’m away!”

“Sallie was amazing! Penny was very happy staying with her. She got lots of walking and play time and snuggles at night. Sallie was very responsive and flexible and sent lots of photos and videos. We definitely will plan on future stays with her!”

“Somer did an amazing job looking after my 14-year-old beagle mix. It’s hard leaving a senior behind but Somer put my mind at ease. I’d recommend her to anyone and will definitely be booking with her again!”

“This was my first time using Rover and it was excellent. Very flexible and even came to pick up on campus during a Tennessee game – it let me take my little buddy with me for longer and then since it was a night game she watched him and he seemed very happy. Excellent job!”

“My pup had a lot of fun with camryn and her family, he’s been sleeping since we brought him home. Camryn was very flexible with us as we traveled out of state and added an extra day last minute. We would use her again!”

“Laura is amazing! She is caring and kept us up to date with pictures and text messages. When our Allie wasn’t eating, she coaxed her by hand feeding her and made sure she was getting her meds. I 100% recommend Laura and will be using her again when needed.”

“Elexis was wonderful with Synna. She was kind, responsive, and made the whole process easy and stress-free. Synna was well cared for, and I felt comfortable knowing she was in good hands. I would definitely book with her again and recommend her to anyone needing a reliable sitter.”

“Bridget took great care of my dog Licorice. She gave her medication as scheduled and kept me updated on how Licorice was doing and sent me some great pics. I really appreciate that she takes only 1 dog at a time, and her 2 dogs are very friendly and got along great with Licorice.”

“Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Drop off and pick up went very smoothly. I could tell my pup had a great time with Kane and his dogs. Highly recommend working with Kane for any future Pet stays/needs. Kane was also very accommodating due to Rufus staying with him over the Christmas/Holiday break. Thank you, Kane!”
