About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life, from farm animals to household pets, including seniors and puppies/kittens. I’ve been a foster with Young-Williams Animal Center since 2019 and love providing a safe, happy home for animals who make our lives richer and more loving. I currently work an 8:30 AM–5:00 PM job with a one-hour lunch break and live just five minutes from the office. I also work remotely on Mondays and Fridays, which gives me added flexibility. I have a spare bedroom in my condo, and the space I provide depends on the animal’s size. For kittens, I often use the spare bathroom, keeping them warm with food, water, and a litter box nearby. For dogs, I set up their pen in the spare room with all their supplies. I also have a large fenced-in back patio where dogs can go outside, play, and run safely.

About: I have always grown up with dogs, since I was a young child I have shared the responsibilities of caring for a family dog. We have always had Bernese Mountain Dogs, so I am particularly adept at caring for active, very large dogs. Growing up I always cared for friend's, family's, and neighbors dogs while they were away on trips, or busy with work. Even without a pet right now I go on 2 walks/runs a day so bringing along a buddy to do so would be no problem! I know for pets especially being around a new person can be very stressful so I always think it is a good idea to meet the dog before actually agreeing to pet sit or talk it on walks to make sure that we are familiar with each other.
About: I've always been dedicated to my pets growing up, and loved to meet with other's pets. While I'm relatively new to professional pet care, I've watched my family and friends' pets since my youth! I'm dedicated to communicating with pet parents while I care for their pets to make sure they have the best experience possible. I have experience administering oral (dogs) and transdermal/ear medications (cats). My schedule is currently open and flexible! I am a recent UTK grad, and although I have completed my studies as a college student, I am continuing work on one of my projects, and most of my work is from the computer, and am also partaking in a field internship a couple days out of the week. I am taking a break from other forms of work, so I'm very available to help you with your petsitting needs. I am a morning person and would work well with 'early bird' pets, but can be flexible if a pet needs a late night let out, medication, or other attention during late night hours. I share my house with roommates and their pets, so I'd prefer to watch your pet in your home unless I've gotten to know and built trust with your pet over several visits. I enjoy spending quality time with pets, including time together on the couch watching a show, napping together, or going out for strolls or to the park to relax outside.

Since I moved here I've just been solo with my Goob, and I'm ready to start taking care of dogs again!! While fostering I took care of every make, model, shape, and year of dog, so I can handle any furry friend you send me! I'm working from home at the moment and if im leaving the house I'm going somewhere dog friendly and in nature! I'll always have time to care for your dog! I have completely open availability and im incredibly active, so your pup will always be doing something with me. I go on hikes several times a week, and would be more than happy to pile your pups in my (wag)on -sorry- and take them for a day time adventure!! Im also able to pet sit/board any days of the week. About: I have grown up surrounded by animals my whole life. My parents have 4 dogs and 2 cats, and I have helped care for them in all phases of life. I now have a dog of my own, Banjo, who is 1 year old and so spoiled. I truly just love pets and will treat your animals as if they are my own! I am open to caring for pets of all sizes and ages! I work Monday through Thursday, so my schedule those days is not very flexible. However, I am off Friday through Sunday and am available those days! I know leaving your pet in someone else’s care can be intimidating, but I promise I will care for your animal like it’s my own and give it all the attention and love it deserves. I will send as many (or as few) pictures as you need to know that your baby is in good hands!
