About: Hey there! I’m Zen, and I have been taking care of pets for friends and family since I was a kid. Not to mention I’ve had several pets over the years, cats and dogs. I would be honored to have to the pleasure of looking after your fur babies! I’m currently doing a cross country road trip in my mini RV, and services like Rover help me stay on the road! About: I’ve been walking and caring for dogs for the past 7 years and truly enjoy spending time with animals. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I also cared for my own 15-year-old dog, including helping with diapers, medication, and other senior care needs, so I’m comfortable providing extra patience and attention when needed. I’m currently taking two online classes, which don’t take up much of my day, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pet the attention they deserve. Because of this, I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and lots of one-on-one care throughout the day to make sure they feel comfortable and loved. I live right on campus in a safe, pet-friendly area, so your dog will get plenty of exercise and fresh air. I’m able to take them on walks around the friendly neighborhood and down to the courtyard as often as needed for potty breaks, playtime, and enrichment. I’ll always follow your pet’s routine, prioritize their safety, and treat them like they’re my own!

About: I've had pets my whole life, mostly cats, but also bunnies, goats, and a dog. I have also volunteered at animal shelters, and worked in both veterinary clinics and grooming salons. I'm a licensed veterinary technician, which means I am very comfortable giving medications as needed, and may even be able to trim nails or bathe dogs with an additional helper. I have taken care of cats, dog, horses, goats, a tortoise, and a few small pocket pets. I am comfortable with most species, but have limited experience with pocket pets, reptiles and birds. I'm currently in the process of looking for a full-time job, so I have more time than usual to take care of your pet(s)! When I get the full-time job, I will be more limited to dog-walking and drop-in appointments, with more availability on the weekends and holidays. I currently live in an apartment building, so I plan to mostly do dog-walking or drop-in apartments. I have a cat currently at my apartment, who prefers dogs over cats, but may get along with a cat with a careful introduction (she tends to be too playful at times).

About: Specifically I understand the needs of French Bulldogs in certain weather conditions. I also understand other short legged friends that need accommodations and have restrictions such as jumping off furniture or when playing not throwing things too high. I run my own business but have a flexible schedule. I am also a grad student who is about to graduate and will open more time in my schedule. Currently I am available various times during the week with a lot of availability on the weekends. My pup has accommodations in every room of the house. I make sure he has the right food bowls for his breed (elevated and tilted). He also has a variety of toys and doggy door to go sunbathe or potty anytime of the day. I understand cleaning up after our furry friends and making sure they have exactly what they need.

About: Hello! I am Stephanie, a neuroscience/pre-med/psychology student at UTK! With my education, I apply it to my job as your caretaker. For as long as I can remember, we have always had fur babies in our house from cats to dogs to lizards and frogs! I remember every single baby having a significant contribution to my personality and who I am now. My current best friend is my cat Sashi! Sashi is a kitty I found as a stray around town. I took her in and the rest is history! Each pet is unique with their own quirks, personalities, and conditions. Sashi has separation anxiety, and I couldn’t imagine leaving her alone for a long period of time. I understand what it means to understand, take care of, and appreciate our fluffy friends that are in our lives! I have experience pet sitting animals of all kinds from farm animals, to big, playful dogs, to small, shy cats. I have taken care of for extended periods of time dogs with medical conditions such as seizures, paralysis, partial blindness, and behavioral issues with other dogs. About: Been pet sitting since I was in high school for all sorts of dogs and cats, and currently working in a clinic as a vet assistant. Currently a university student and working part time, most of my availability is on weekends or on evenings but I am able to make time! About: My family has fostered dogs for the past few years, and we’ve had at least one family dog since I was born. I pet sit for my neighbors and family friends often, both cats and dogs alike, and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities! On the daily I take care of my family dogs. I take them on morning walks, make sure they don’t eat each other’s food, and give them PLENTY of play time, pets, and loves! I’m also well-versed in caring for anxious dogs, as our medium-size dog is very nervous at most hours of the day. I don’t believe in using fear tactics to punish dogs, such as time-outs or spraying them with water. Instead, I promote positive behaviors by engaging with them happily and giving them treats (if permitted) when they do something they’re supposed to do! With my clients, I take pets on walks or do a scheduled play time for as long as is requested, and I make sure they’re comfortable and fed every time I visit! If overnight or all-day stay is needed for particularly clingy pets, I’m completely open to discussing hours for that, and will never leave a pet alone or push it away if it needs a person there!

About: Since I was a boy, I have lived and grown up with Mastiffs, a German Shepherd, Doberman, a Boxer, and Rottweilers. At 15 I began dog and cat sitting for people in my hometown, Soddy Daisy. Not only can I handle the physical demands of pet sitting, I enjoy it! Dogs and cats with special needs and have to be carried are no problem. I've cared for my neighbor's dog, Bandit, who suffers from trauma and anxiety, for several years. I'm a college student in my senior year, and as such I have classes through the week. I need to be on campus by 9am (8am on Wednesdays) and am typically done after 5pm. Nights and weekends are ideal! My mother is a certified pet trainer, and I learned to take the time and energy training our dogs with a compassionate hand. Each of the pets I've had possessed unique personalities, so I know some adaptation is needed at all times.
