“Thanks for taking care of our boy while we were away! Champ loved staying and playing with your other dogs. All the pictures made us feel better about being away from our boy.”

About: I've grown up around dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and rats, taking care of all, whether it's feeding, playing, or general care. Your pets are family and are in good hands, whether it's a sleepover, walk, or playtime with me and 11 year old German Shepard Husky Mix. I work full time, sometimes in the office and sometimes at home. So during the week, depending on location, I can do lunch time walks or after work walks or play. Weekends are prime times for sleepovers and long walks/playtime. Dog sitting in my house only - dogs are part of the family and will be in the house with me and my dog. They're welcome on furniture and throughtout the house. My dog has free reign of the house during the day. If they are crate trained, feel free to bring that, otherwise their own bed so they have comfort away from home. I have a large fenced-in yard for lots of outdoor playtime. Please let me know if there are any needs when overnight or when alone in the house. I can accommodate separate sleeping areas and crating if nnecessary. Dogs must be friendly with other, specifically big dogs.
“I cannot recommend this family enough for boarding! We did a meet and greet which was so comforting knowing our dog would love their dog too. And turns out they became the best of friends during his stay with them. We had never boarded Mac before and I was so anxious but this was so worry free and it was like he was just spending the weekend with family. We got lots of photos too!”

“Gabrielle and her pack were so welcoming and warm with me and my dog when we met them. I felt really good about boarding him with her and she sent me pictures & updates everyday! 10/10 would use again and recommend! Thanks so much!”

“Really nice and caring sitter. Our flight got delayed and had to extend Bubble’s stay for an extra day. Hanna was really considerate about all this and took great care of Bubble.”

“Alexis and Alexzander were absolutely wonderful with our puppy! They are so kind and true animal lovers. They were patient with our very shy dog and she warmed up to them instantly. Our pup was in the very best hands. They sent photos and updates and we knew they loved her like their own! We are so appreciative. Lovely people and highly recommend!”

“Braleigh and her family were the perfect host for my dog. My dog had a blast at their house and in their backyard. She introduced my dog to their dogs slowly and step by step to give my dog enough time and space. She sent me a lot of pictures and kept me posted a couple of times a day. I really appreciate her and her family for taking a great care of my pup.”

“What a wonderful family! Her son absolutely adored my dog. They had a really fun time together, and we literally had to peel them apart at the end. My animals were very happy and we will definitely be seeing Annabelle again.”

“Nicole was amazing! You can tell that she loves dogs and takes great care of them. She treated mine as if they were her own. After our first time with Nicole, I immediately booked her for our next two trips.”
“Rachel was wonderful!! Communication was so quick and efficient with her. She sent lots of videos of my dog playing with her dogs, which put my mind at ease so much since this was the first time I have left him with a sitter I didn’t know personally. I will definitely be rebooking in the future!!”

“Katie is my go to sitter every time I need to go out of town. Henry adores her and her husband and looks forward to his playtime with pals. I can tell how happy he is when he gets there and I feel so secure knowing he is in such loving and caring hands.”

I work from home full time so I would be available throughout the day/night to take care of all of your fur babies meal times/cuddles/needs! “Yu very responsive to emails Daily pics, and/or videos Harley enjoyed his stay with Yu. There is a big fenced in backyard for Halrey, and Yu's 2 dogs to play in. My dog has been in the shelter several times, and I like that Harley was able to roam freely, and not spend a lot of time locked up in a kennel. Yu's home provides that, along with the benefit of only boarding one dog at a time. Yu was very responsive to any messages I sent, and sent daily messages, pics, and/or videos. When Harley needs a place to stay in the future, Yu will be my first choice.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Farragut
Lanelle, her mom, and their lovely dogs were so nice and caring to my dog, Basil. I definitely did not have any worry having Basil stay with Lanelle. In fact, I think you should consider it a privilege if Lanelle has availability to sit your pet since it was apparent how much their whole family cares for your beloved fur-baby. Lanelle provided ample updates, great pictures, and had plenty of space for Basil. She even made a lot of new dog friends.

We can't recommend Meredith and John enough! We hadn't been able to travel for a while because it's so hard to find someone you truly trust with your dog. Meredith made it possible for us to finally visit family we hadn't seen in a long time, and we were able to enjoy our trip knowing our dog, Louie, was in the best hands. We've booked both daycare visits, and boarding for a few days and every experience has been wonderful. From the first meet and greet, Meredith and John’s calm demeanor immediately put us at ease. Before booking, we read all the amazing reviews, and one person said Meredith "speaks dog." After meeting her, we completely understood what they meant. She's amazing at what she does, but more importantly, you can tell she genuinely enjoys it, and that makes all the difference. Meredith sent us wonderful updates and photos throughout Louie's stay, which gave us so much peace of mind! From every picture, we could tell he was having the best time and was safe, and when he came home, it was obvious he had been loved and well cared for. Their property is a paradise for dogs, with multiple fenced yards for different play styles and even a trail through the woods for dogs who love to explore (Louie certainly did!). It's such a thoughtful setup, and you can tell they've put a lot of care into creating a safe and fun environment. The biggest compliment we can give is that we'll absolutely be booking again! We are grateful and highly recommend Meredith to anyone looking for someone who will care for their dog as if they were their own.
I can’t say enough amazing things about Kara the dog sitter! 🐾✨ Leaving Luna is never easy, but knowing she was in such loving, attentive, and trustworthy hands gave me complete peace of mind. From regular updates to the extra care and affection shown, it truly felt like Luna was treated like family. 💕 When I came back, she was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for — which says everything! If you’re looking for someone dependable, kind, and genuinely passionate about animals, I highly recommend them. Thank you for taking such incredible care of my sweet Luna! 🐶💖

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
