“This was our first time to use Caleb. He took excellent care of Koshi and was very accommodating when our schedule changed. This was a great experience for booking we will use again.”

About: My name is Erica I’ve had pets my entire life and have started caring for others in addition to my own (Morty, aka Little Mort Mort). I am incredibly reliable, trustworthy, and flexible. Any and all instructions you leave for me will be followed with the utmost care to keep your little buddy happy & comfortable! I work from home full time so I would be available throughout the day/night to take care of all of your fur babies meal times/cuddles/needs! I have a fenced yard, kind children & a friendly little dog who in additional to myself will keep your fur baby company, and will treat him/her as if they are a member of our family!
“Great experience! We left our 2 golden retrievers 10 days. We got lots of updates, pictures, and videos while we were away. They went in walks, the dog park, and had the best time. We were 100% comfortable and our babies were, too!”

“Really nice and caring sitter. Our flight got delayed and had to extend Bubble’s stay for an extra day. Hanna was really considerate about all this and took great care of Bubble.”

“Cash had a great time and didn't want to leave when I came to pick him up! Gabrielle gave plenty of updates during his stay and her dogs kept him very busy with constant play.”

“Yu very responsive to emails Daily pics, and/or videos Harley enjoyed his stay with Yu. There is a big fenced in backyard for Halrey, and Yu's 2 dogs to play in. My dog has been in the shelter several times, and I like that Harley was able to roam freely, and not spend a lot of time locked up in a kennel. Yu's home provides that, along with the benefit of only boarding one dog at a time. Yu was very responsive to any messages I sent, and sent daily messages, pics, and/or videos. When Harley needs a place to stay in the future, Yu will be my first choice.”

About: I've grown up around dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and rats, taking care of all, whether it's feeding, playing, or general care. Your pets are family and are in good hands, whether it's a sleepover, walk, or playtime with me and 11 year old German Shepard Husky Mix. I work full time, sometimes in the office and sometimes at home. So during the week, depending on location, I can do lunch time walks or after work walks or play. Weekends are prime times for sleepovers and long walks/playtime. Dog sitting in my house only - dogs are part of the family and will be in the house with me and my dog. They're welcome on furniture and throughtout the house. My dog has free reign of the house during the day. If they are crate trained, feel free to bring that, otherwise their own bed so they have comfort away from home. I have a large fenced-in yard for lots of outdoor playtime. Please let me know if there are any needs when overnight or when alone in the house. I can accommodate separate sleeping areas and crating if nnecessary. Dogs must be friendly with other, specifically big dogs.
“Absolutely 100% happy with her. She kept my large 96lb lab for 8 days and I got daily communication and pics! He was well cared for and a happy boy, which means the world to me. She handled him great! I was worried because she's petite and he's big and strong, but she did great! Will use her every time!”

“What a wonderful family! Her son absolutely adored my dog. They had a really fun time together, and we literally had to peel them apart at the end. My animals were very happy and we will definitely be seeing Annabelle again.”

“Katie was great! She kept in touch with pictures and text updates each day. She has a big backyard for plenty of playtime and running around, which I know my dog loved. Definitely will use Katie again!”

About: We have both grown up with dogs since birth! Our families have always owned them. <3 We have experience walking, bathing, feeding, & giving oral medications to dogs of all breeds, ages, & sizes. We have owned dogs with our families before marriage & have each dog sat for friends & family.🐶Avery has experience taking care of her family’s senior shitzu including taking him on walks in a doggie stroller, walks in grippy socks, & exercising him in a bathtub because it’s good for his joints. (: 🛁🐾 Layton is blessed to work from home so he is able to watch, hangout, & play with your fur baby all day! No need to worry about your pup having anxiety away from a human or being lonely. Avery gets home from grad school in the evenings. We are both home at night and on the weekends as well, we have very flexible schedules. We live in a dog friendly, gated apartment complex with a dog park, sidewalks, and lots of space so we can get our exercise in💪🐶🏃♀️. We do not own any pets so you do not have to worry about your dog getting along with another animal or vice versa. (: We do not own any crates and feel no need to, we love letting our previous pets and dogs we’ve sat for roam freely with us and get as many pets & scratches as they please. We allow dogs on our furniture, just let us know if they are prone to accidents/not fully potty trained. We can’t wait to make your fur baby feel right at home when you’re away!

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Farragut
Lanelle and her family are genuinely the best dog sitters I’ve ever had! She was so kind and patient with my very hyperactive puppy. She sent updates every day with many pictures and detailed descriptions on how he was doing. I will definitely be going back to Lanelle when I need to go out of town.

I can’t say enough amazing things about Kara the dog sitter! 🐾✨ Leaving Luna is never easy, but knowing she was in such loving, attentive, and trustworthy hands gave me complete peace of mind. From regular updates to the extra care and affection shown, it truly felt like Luna was treated like family. 💕 When I came back, she was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for — which says everything! If you’re looking for someone dependable, kind, and genuinely passionate about animals, I highly recommend them. Thank you for taking such incredible care of my sweet Luna! 🐶💖

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
