About: I’m a vet tech that graduated from college last year. I work at a vet clinic full time and I know CPR. I know what to do in very needed times. I can take care of them before work, on my lunch break if needed, and after work. If they are well trained and small dogs, I can take them with me to work as well. I do need to know at least a week or two in advance as to plan. I also have other clients that schedule far out with me. I do not watch animals at my apartment. If I do, I have to pay the animal fee of $350. I do enjoy and like to watch animals at their house. I make sure they can’t get into anything while I’m gone and I also make sure the house is locked when I leave so no one else enters while I’m gone.

I strive to keep pets on their normal routine to make them feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. I am very detail oriented so I prioritize carefully follow feeding, walking, medication and care instructions provided by the owner. And if anything is ever unclear, I always communicate that to the owner! Erin accomplished exactly what I requested. Although I was a bit concerned because I had never left Molly in the care of a sitter, there was no reason for my concern. I had indicated to Erin that I would leave pee pads and bags for their disposal, I completely forgot to leave bags. Erin “figured it out” on her own which I appreciate so much.
