Hi! We are Alex and Alexis. We've been together for over six years and animal lovers for our entire lives! Alexis is currently a 4th-year veterinary student at UT Knoxville full time. Alex works as a Financial Analyst at a local energy company on a hybrid work-from-home schedule. With our combined 15 years of professional small animal care experience, we are equipped to handle pets of all species, breeds, and behaviors. In the extremely rare event that an emergency occurs, Alexis has the training, experience, resources, and facilities to provide the appropriate care needed.

Alexis and Alex were wonderful. They were responsive and super accommodating when our needs changed. I received regular updates and photos. My dog came home happy and healthy. Will definitely use them again!

There could never be better people than Alex and Alexis! They took absolutely AMAZING care of our 2 collies while we were away for the weekend. We did not have to worry even a moment about whether they would receive good care. One of our collies is not very well, but we knew we could completely trust them to do all of the right things for her. They kept us informed several times a day with videos and text updates. We are SO grateful to them that we could leave our greatly loved dogs with them and not worry for one minute.
My pup Rose was the happiest girl staying with these two lovely people for a week! I could tell that she was well loved and taken care of. Alexis made sure to send me lots of pictures and updates about how she was doing, and I never doubted for a second that she was in good hands!

Schedule
Alex currently works a hybrid schedule and works from home on average 2 days a week. Alexis has a volatile schedule and gets home sometime between 1-5 pm. We are both home after 5 in the evenings and all weekend. As former D1 cross country runners, leading a fit and active lifestyle is extremely important to us, and we would love to incorporate your furry friend into our daily walks, hikes, and if your pet is able, runs!

Safety, trust & environment
We have always treated our animals like family. We don't restrict pets from the couch or the bed (if okay with the owner) and love giving pets the attention they deserve while their owners are away! As a trained veterinary assistant and veterinarian in training, Alexis has the experience and education to administer medications orally, topically, via injection, and more.

A typical day
We live only a short drive from multiple local parks and dog parks and we also love hiking the trails at local state parks! We love including our furry friends in our daily adventures.
