About: I have had a dog in my life since age 6. I have always had rescue dogs and as many as 8 on a large property. I have lost all 11 now and don't know if I can take the heartbreak again. To provide boarding or daycare options, my 'dog fix' will be fulfilled and serve your needs also. I have never met a dog that didn't like me, all dogs I have met engage with me quickly. I am a RN and have performed CPR on one of my dogs before bringing him back to life. I can give oral meds and have given injections to my dogs in the past. I walk daily and if your dog wants to join me, perfect! I work from home and an empty nester. I am home most afternoons and evenings and will adjust my schedule to be here with your fur kid without large gaps in time. I have a fenced backyard with a doggie door to the backyard if your dog knows how to use one. My neighbor is small with sidewalks for safety. I have a large and medium crate if your dog requires one no need to bring it. They can be on the couch or even sleep in the bed if that is what they are used to. I have a covered patio to protect from the weather elements so your dog can lay outside and enjoy fresh air. Water will be available outside also.

Pet care fits into my daily routine easily as a WFH employee. I take a walk before and during lunch breaks daily and can provide as many potty breaks as needed. I care for pets by following instructions and information provided by their owners. I think it is beneficial to make their environment as close to home as possible when boarding with me. I prefer to do a meet and greet beforehand to let your pet get familiar with my home and me.

About: I’ve always had and loved dogs! I have a soft spot in my heart for doggies. I would keep my friends and family’s dogs when they would go out of town. These dogs have been all shapes and sizes! Golden retriever, Rottweiler, Pit mix, Pug, Yellow Lab, Jack Russell, and more! I also have volunteered at Young Williams Animal Shelter walking and caring for dogs. I also have crates and a play pen inside for dogs to play in without having to free roam the house. I sometimes will take the dogs to our boat on the lake or my in-law’s pool if they enjoy water!

I let them roam freely (depending on your preference!), and make sure they go potty every few hours.
