I let them roam freely (depending on your preference!), and make sure they go potty every few hours. About: I’ve had my two for over a decade and have learned a lot in that duration. I’m definitely well versed in pack mentality at this point. I can manage orally administered medication with no problem. At the moment I work a split day where I’m in the office half a day and work from home the other half. At the longest, doggos are home alone for 6 hours. I have a very large fenced yard and two dogs of my own so your best friend will have plenty of space to stretch their legs and company to run with. Or they could hang out on the porch looking over the commotion in the yard if they don’t want to participate and listen to the birds and enjoy the fresh air.
