About: Medically retired Veteran and stay at home dad with lots of time on my hands to care for fur kids and keep a watchful eye on them. I have dog sat for friends' pets and personal pets that I've owned for over 30 years. I don't currently have another job. So, aside from medical appointments, I don't have any issues with daily or weekly routines. I should be able to conform to any and all needs. I always care for every pet as though that pet were my own. I know how sensitive each pet can be, so I try my best to keep that in mind when dealing with someone else's pet.

About: Hi! I’ve been around animals my entire life and caring for dogs has always been second nature to me. I grew up in a family full of pets and have experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities — from playful puppies to senior dogs who need a little extra patience and attention. I’ve been helping care for animals since I was a child, so I understand how important it is to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just having someone calm and dependable around, I’m happy to match their routine and needs. I treat every pet like family and always make sure owners feel updated and reassured with communication and photos throughout their stay or visit. My goal is to give your pet a stress-free, loving environment where they feel right at home. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because animals have always been a big part of my life. I work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, which makes me available for evening visits, walks, drop-ins, overnight care, and weekends. I’m used to planning my schedule around pets’ needs and making sure they get plenty of attention, care, exercise, and companionship while their owners are away. I’m happy to care for pets in their own home where they’re most comfortable and able to stay in their normal routine. I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, walks, feeding on schedule, and lots of love while their owners are away. I also provide updates and photos so owners can feel reassured their pets are doing well. If absolutely needed, I may also be able to care for pets in my home. I have plenty of space, a safe neighborhood for walks, and a fenced backyard for dogs to enjoy supervised outdoor time. However, in-home care at the owner’s house is generally my preferred option so pets can stay comfortable in a familiar environment.

“Peggy was wonderful with our shy little Chihuahua, Lily. I wanted someone in the house with our fur baby rather than just drop-in visits and it worked out wonderfully! Peggy was very respectful of our house and took good care of Lily. It was a win win situation for me and for Lil. When we got home I could tell that she had been taken care of well as she was happy to see us; but not clingy or nervous. I will definitely have Peggy in our home the next time we are planning to leave town and highly recommend her as your sitter.”
