“Sam is absolutely AMAZING! She stayed overnight for about 10 days and took incredible care of my two dogs. One of them is a senior who requires daily oral medication, and Sam did a fantastic job making sure he got his meds every single day while closely monitoring him. My other dog is a very active pit bull who needs extra attention when going outside because she can be sneaky but Sam handled this perfectly and always made sure she was safely on a leash. After having an unpleasant experience with a previous sitter, I was hesitant to use Rover again, but Sam completely changed my mind. She went above and beyond in every way. I came home to a spotless house, and throughout my trip she sent plenty of pictures and messages that truly showed how much she cares and her genuine love for my dogs. About: I have had pets my whole life, but grew up with Great Danes so I have a soft spot for big dogs! I have been dogsitting and housesitting for 8 years but have been doing drop in care and walks for longer. I absolutely love animals, and enjoy spoiling them while their owners are away! One of my favorite things is to take dogs on walks at the park or on a fun car ride if they enjoy it. Right now I am available nights and weekends, but once school is out for summer at the end of May I will be available during the day as well. I cannot care for other people’s pets in my home as I have cats that do not do well with other animals. I enjoy taking dogs on walks or to the park if they enjoy it. I love to play with dogs and cats and their favorite toys. I also enjoy taking dogs on car rides if their owners have said they enjoy it, some dogs love it and some hate it. About: I’ve been taking care of animals for most of my life. I love high energy animals and taking care of them. I grew up with a dog and cat I still have and care for and more recently I have been a volunteer at the Humane Society, I even ended up starting my own club of volunteers in high school. This role has equipped me with all sorts of animal care skills such as cleaning after them, bathing them, feeding them and administering medication, and making sure to provide lots of love and attention. I’ve always said that I’m not a dog or cat person when asked, but rather an animal person. I love animals and caring after them. I am a college student at Tulane University and I am currently home for the summer! I am available until June 22nd and have open availability all day every day until then. I have a fenced yard and two pets of my own that are both friendly so I am no stranger to spending time outdoors with animals or having playdates. About: I’ve had multiple dogs in the past including one currently and have a lot of experience caring for them. I’ve cared for dogs for multiple years. If I am not home I have another household members that is able to take care of your pet as needed. Other than that I am able to be with the pets as much as possible. I am currently on summer vacation until I start college in the fall so, I will have tubs of free time. I have a fenced yard with one friendly pet to keep your pet company. I can crate your pet if needed, including my own if they do not get along. I’m currently in college and working part-time so when I am not home there are other household members there to make your pet is taken care of. About: I grew up on a farm with cows, chickens, and lots of barn cats and dogs! I’ve been a big animal person my whole life which inspired me to go into veterinary medicine in my adult life. I have been in vet med for almost 4 years now, however I am currently not working in it because i’m looking to explore other jobs for myself at the moment. Lots of care experience since I have watched some patients for 24+ hours. I can also administer any kind of medication that your fur baby needs while you’re away! This was our second time using Melissa and once again she was fantastic. She kept us updated every day with photos and messages, and we could tell our pets were happy and comfortable while we were away. Melissa went above and beyond, even standing in the rain with Charlee to make sure she went out when needed. It gave us total peace of mind knowing she was there.
