About: I grew up on a farm with cows, chickens, and lots of barn cats and dogs! I’ve been a big animal person my whole life which inspired me to go into veterinary medicine in my adult life. I have been in vet med for almost 4 years now, however I am currently not working in it because i’m looking to explore other jobs for myself at the moment. I still would love to have animals in my life while I explore my options and I think Rover is the perfect place for me to do that! Lots of care experience since I have watched some patients for 24+ hours. I can also administer any kind of medication that your fur baby needs while you’re away! I’m currently not working full shifts so I have a ton of availability. I’m hoping for Rover to be a summer gig for me for a while and I can be there when and wherever you need me! I’m currently living with my Mother who has 2 dogs and 2 cats and my own loving cat as well in the household. She is not home super often so I definitely tend to the animals and of course my own sweet girl! I could sit outside all day so potty breaks and walks are a breeze and me and your kiddos can stay outside as long as they want. I’m happy to clean out litter boxes and crates as well.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals for most of my life. I love high energy animals and taking care of them. I grew up with a dog and cat I still have and care for and more recently I have been a volunteer at the Humane Society, I even ended up starting my own club of volunteers in high school. This role has equipped me with all sorts of animal care skills such as cleaning after them, bathing them, feeding them and administering medication, and making sure to provide lots of love and attention. I’ve always said that I’m not a dog or cat person when asked, but rather an animal person. I love animals and caring after them. I am a college student at Tulane University and I am currently home for the summer! I am available until June 22nd and have open availability all day every day until then. I have a fenced yard and two pets of my own that are both friendly so I am no stranger to spending time outdoors with animals or having playdates. I am more than happy to take pets to any appointments they may have and am able to administer medication if needed.

About: I have lived with dogs my entire life! And I now have had lots of experience watching other people’s dogs as well! I can’t wait to take care of your pup! I have availability throughout the whole week currently. But that is subject to change. I like to spend my off days outside going for walks and enjoying the weather when it’s nice. I like to listen to the clients instructions because every household and every dog is different and has different needs so making sure I follow their rules is the most important thing.

About: i’ve pet sit for one family/couple before, I watched Marshall, Milo, and Mako. I love animals and spending time with them and taking care of them. I’m currently an unemployed college student because I recently had to quit my part-time hosting job, so I have so much free time. I am job searching but I figured this would be the perfect side gig while doing so. I have no classes right now so I have a lot of time to hangout and take care of pets 🥰 I have a friendly Cat named Pickle and a friendly black lab named Daisy. Daisy is old and sweet. Pickle has food and water in my room and her litter box in my grandparents room.

I’m also a special needs parent, so patience, compassion, and attentiveness are second nature to me. Pet sitting helps me support my daughter’s therapies and additional needs, which makes this work especially meaningful to me. It takes a village, and I can’t wait to be a part of yours 🐾🩶 I’m able to come walk your pets or check in on them before work then play with them after work (5:30p-9p) throughout the week. And Saturday and Sundays I’m fully available/flexible! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, loving environment with plenty of supervision, patience, playtime, and cuddles. I always follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any routines that help your pet feel secure and at home. I understand every animal has different needs and personalities, and I’ll care for them like they’re part of my own family 🐾

Her communication was fantastic — I loved getting photo updates and hearing how things were going while we were away. She’s so sweet, and it was clear that Loki felt comfortable and enjoyed her company. We came home to a happy cat and a tidy home, and I couldn’t ask for better care. “Penny kept our 15-week-old lab puppy and cat at our house for four days while we were out of town. Our pup is definitely in the puppy phase and is a real challenge to keep out of trouble. Penny did a great job in maintaining the consistency of his schedule and continued his training while we were away. I'm sure this was over the top from the normal sitting arrangements. She keeps a daily diary of what she and our pets did so she does an outstanding job of communicating. This was our first experience with having someone stay in our home and it worked out great. About: What sets me apart is the personal care and attention I give every pet. I take time to learn each animal’s personality, routine, and needs, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I own a small business so I am able to make my own schedule if it’s at least a month out. If I do have events then I’ll be gone 4-6 hours max. Other than that I will try to be with your animals as much as possible. Every pet in my care is treated like family, with constant attention to their comfort and well-being.
