About: I have loads of experience! From fostering dogs to being a licensed vet tech of 10 years!!! I decided I wanted a different direction and starting my own business and pet sit on the side. I'm loving every second of it! I work from home so taking care of your baby will fit right into my schedule. I can do whatever is needed and more! Just ask! I prefer to care for animals in their homes where they are comfortable, but if they are good with other dogs/peope/ and cats they can come to mine. About: I have always been able to communicate and interact with animals much easier than i have with people, it comes more naturally to me. The first thing that my closest friends and family say when introducing me to anyone, especially if they have pets, is that i’m great with animals. it fits in perfectly, i work at part time job at a clothing store but my shifts are only typically four hours, and i get off work anytime between 4-6 so right around dinner time. i have an open yard that my dog can roam freely whenever we let her out, she tends to stay within 10 yards of our front doorstep so we do not keep her on a leash. however, should i be taking care of a dog and it does need to be on a leash when being let out, that is no problem at all.

I was worried about my little Otis being anxious about being left as he has serious separation anxiety ( OK, we both do ! ) but as Victoria and I were chatting - Otis happily bouncing around exploring her and Charles' lovely lawn she teased him over for a pet and before I knew it he was in her arms - looking very happy I might add! I had a few things to transfer from my car to my sons - typically high stress time for me, trying to keep track of Otis - who won't get more than a step or two away, so I don't step on him. He just go cozier and cozier and sunk lower and lower into Victoria's arm. I guess I wasn't surprised to receive a photo by text, of him laying in her lap before it was even dark out. Pick up was easy - Victoria and Charles' garage door were open and it was lit like a beacon in the rainy night - just a quick report from Victoria ( he's fine ! ) as it was a long day and we were on our way. About: I’ve been taking care of animals for most of my life. I love high energy animals and taking care of them. I grew up with a dog and cat I still have and care for and more recently I have been a volunteer at the Humane Society, I even ended up starting my own club of volunteers in high school. This role has equipped me with all sorts of animal care skills such as cleaning after them, bathing them, feeding them and administering medication, and making sure to provide lots of love and attention. I’ve always said that I’m not a dog or cat person when asked, but rather an animal person. I love animals and caring after them. I’m very active and love being outside. If your dog needs more mental stimulation I can play games with them/teach them some new tricks! Unfortunately I cannot bring cats/dogs to my home unless my dog gets along great with yours! I could potentially bring animals that live in a cage though. I do not shy away from cleaning up after your pet and I have no problem administering medicine if need be. I am happy to accommodate you and your pet to the best of my ability. I am an avid animal lover with many years of experience caring for animals. I have no issue making my schedule work to accommodate an animal friend. For as long as I can remember there has been at least one dog living in my house. I love them and have a wonderful relationship with mine and my wife's pets.

About: Hi! I’m Melissa (with Melissa's Pet & Home Care), a lifelong pet lover with experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, personalities, and needs. But more than that- I know how important it is that you have a reliable, caring sitter for your fur babies & home while you're away. I previously cared for my own 90-lb dog who had allergies, chronic ear infections, high anxiety, and later bone cancer, so I’m very familiar with special-needs care, medications, and helping pets feel safe and comforted through anything. I’m patient with anxious or sensitive pets, and I understand how much they miss their humans when you’re away. <3 I’m happy to take active pups on long runs, go for slow sniff walks, or just offer cuddles and company. I’m also comfortable handling dogs that pull or never quite figured out leash manners. I’m not a trainer, but I can keep them safe and in hand. :) Just tell me what your pet needs, and I’ll follow their routine to keep them comfortable, happy, and cared for. Your pet gets my full attention, and I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. I do this full time, so I’m able to provide frequent walks, playtime, and check-ins. I make sure to communicate expectations clearly so each pet gets consistent attention and care. I never overbook myself, so your pet always gets plenty of one-on-one time. Safety and comfort come first. When I’m in a client’s home, I follow their exact routines and respect their space. I double-check that doors and gates are secure, can clean up after pets as needed, and make sure each pet feels safe while you’re away. I'll send plenty of updates and photos so you always know how things are going.
