About: I have raised two Australian Shepards myself. I have taught both of them all the basic commands myself. I am very patient and understanding. I was worried about my little Otis being anxious about being left as he has serious separation anxiety ( OK, we both do ! ) but as Victoria and I were chatting - Otis happily bouncing around exploring her and Charles' lovely lawn she teased him over for a pet and before I knew it he was in her arms - looking very happy I might add! I had a few things to transfer from my car to my sons - typically high stress time for me, trying to keep track of Otis - who won't get more than a step or two away, so I don't step on him. He just go cozier and cozier and sunk lower and lower into Victoria's arm. I guess I wasn't surprised to receive a photo by text, of him laying in her lap before it was even dark out. Pick up was easy - Victoria and Charles' garage door were open and it was lit like a beacon in the rainy night - just a quick report from Victoria ( he's fine ! ) as it was a long day and we were on our way. This is my first chance to reach out and its been three days - sorry guys! Do you need a sitter? Are Victoria and Charles available? Book them!! ( I'd even settle for just Charles : 0 : o : ) . I also volunteered a lot of my time caring for, and walking dogs at the animal shelter. About: I’ve had dogs my entire adult life. My three dogs live inside and are treated like part of the family (because they are). I worked a couple of years as a big dog camp counselor, but am now retired. I have a secure privacy fence in backyard, and a designated “doggie bedroom” in my house. As a retiree and a homebody, my daily routine already revolves around my dogs. We have a standard schedule throughout the day with many play and potty breaks outside. As mentioned above, I have a privacy fence in my backyard so the pups can play and potty securely. They are never without supervision. I will crate if needed.

I’m very active and love being outside. If your dog needs more mental stimulation I can play games with them/teach them some new tricks! I have worked at multiple kennels, one specializing in young, high-energy working dogs, and the other specializing in aggressive and fear-reactive dogs with bite histories. I love the big dogs, and am comfortable with breeds up to and including Great Danes, Mastiffs, Wolfhounds, Newfies, etc. I am used to dog training as well, and am more than willing to maintain any training rules you may have for your dog. My personal dog is a certified therapy dog (she will not be accompanying while dogsitting). I love training, but have no certifications, just dog training kennel experience.

“Elizabeth is absolutely AMAZING!!! We had a last minute change of plans and needed to board our pups over thanksgiving and she was quick to respond and accept the reservation. She not only came out to greet us, she helped me get both dogs and their things out of the car. Throughout the week she sent us constant updates of their shenanigans with both cute and funny pictures of them. I asked for a specific photo of one dog for instagram and she did a whole little photo shoot! Pretty much every day she took them to the greenway down the road for 1-2 mile walks and even helped work on their leash manners.
