Pet Boarding in Wiscasset

About: I recently lost my 14 y/o Coonhound (Jazzy) She was the bestest girl in the world, and the best friend anyone could ask for. I am not ready for another dog just yet, but I would love to have another heartbeat in the house. My schedule is very flexible, in the event that I have to run some errands, I am happy to take your dog for a car ride with me. I live in a quiet neighborhood with a large backyard and in close proximity to trails for long walks that I often frequent. Also, I could not be happier to have your dog hang out on the couch with me while I read or work from home.

About: I've taken care of all sorts of dogs since I was a teenager! I am comfortable with Reactive, Aggressive and Nervous dogs. I have Three of my own nervous/reactive dogs! I've dog sat for family and friends along with having 4 of my own dogs! I've worked at a doggie daycare and have experience with particular routines that our pets have. I understand that dogs are our family and I will treat your pet just like they're my own! I am also experienced with large high energy dogs and Working dogs! I am currently working part time as my mom's cleaning business and I am Active in dog related activities. I do a lot with my own pups! I treat all dogs in my care as if they're my own! I use positive methods in handling dogs because they deserve the best and kindest care! I have puppy sat all sorts of dogs from huge Great Danes, high energy Malinois and adorable little Yorkies.

About: I’ve worked at 2 doggy daycares in the last few years where we did boarding. I’ve also worked in a cat boarding facility and have worked at pet stores for about 5-6 years. I was trusted with cleaning up after and giving medications to pets that needed it. I’m currently working part time in Freeport so I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your pets and spend time with them and take them on walks depending on weather. I live in a wooded area with access to tie outs so your pets and I could sit outside on good days and play. I have an extra room in the house where I can easily board your pet but would require you to bring a crate if they’re crate trained depending on the size of the pet. I do have two crates available that I could use if you’re unable to bring their crate. I have 2 cats in the household along with my fiance so they would have to be cat and man friendly.

About: I'm a work at home pet mom with a large yard, lots of toys, and a calm and welcoming house. I've always had large dogs from mixed breeds to Great Danes, but love and appreciate all types of well mannered dogs. My house sits well off the road, so its quiet and I hike or trail walk almost daily. I am adept at giving medicine, cleaning wounds and dealing with incontinent dogs, but I will only board dogs who are respectful of my cats. I am currently working from home on my own schedule. Boarded dogs who enjoy car rides can come with me on errands or outings. While each day may different, my activities will be built around the needs of the animals I am caretaking, especially if separation anxiety is an issue. I will care for your animals as per your instructions and the capabilities of your pet. I do not have a fenced in yard, but have installed a run line in the past. If a dog is used to being crated, receiving treats, or sleeping on the couch - no problem. Conversely, I don't give animals people food, and if you want your pets to stay off furniture I will strictly honor that as well. My house is small but open, so it is easy to keep an eye on them.

About: I grew up on a large farm with show dogs! I have had dogs, cats and all farm animals my entire life and their happiness, care is always top of my priority! I work from home full time, so there will never be a period your fur baby will be left alone unless I need to run a quick errand. I have two dogs ( a shih tzu (7) and a mini schnauzer (6 months), we have two well behaved cats and 6 chickens that are enclosed in an outside area. We use a bell system on the doors for our dogs to tell us when they need to go outside and positive reinforcement at all times.

About: Grew up with animals including lizards, cats, dogs, birds and horses. Volunteered in animal shelters doing all care of cats and dogs! I love all animals. I currently work for an Equestrian Center where I help care for over 30 horses. I have two part time jobs, but I only work in the evenings and am available for the rest of the day! I’ll do my best to work around any schedule I have five cats currently who are the most spoiled animals, they get lick mats, vitamins, and all sorts of other fun enrichment. They are also some of the kindest cat you will ever meet! I would extend this love for my cats to your animal offering homemade or organic treats (if allowed!) I also have a dog and several reptiles who are beyond loved!

About: I have experience with animals from Great Danes to Fancy rats. I have training experience as well with things such as potty training, walking etiquette, and a few show tricks. I have college classes in the afternoons but my mornings and nights are wide open on weekdays. As for weekends its just dependent on the day so I'll need advanced notice. I have a small yard, and within a quarter mile from the nearest park. I can give potty breaks ever hour if need be, and I'm great at matching an animals energy level.

I have a highly reactive dog, and was extremely nervous to leave him with someone, but she had great communication with me leading up to his stay and handled his behavior wonderfully, but of more importance, she also keyed into what I needed to ensure both he, and they, were comfortable together so I could relax and enjoy my vacation without stressing over how he was doing there. We had a lot of communication on the onset to calm my nerves, and once I knew he and they were settled comfortably, we had a few "he's doing great" check ins. Not only would I highly recommend her for her care of my dog, I would also highly recommend her for calmly dealing with an anxious owner.”

“Jessica and her husband are fantastic. We have a puppy and they took her in immediately like she was their own. They were accommodating in our situation, as we were staying somewhere close to them that wouldn't allow our pup to stay at the house. We were able to still see her during the day to play. About: Lots of experience and knowledge from years of taking care of my own, and local families pets. Can stay at pet owners home, do drop in visits, or board pets under a certain criteria. I have experience with young puppies, senior dogs, and large dog breeds! I also have experience with small livestock, rodents, and small reptiles. I am currently in high school, but I am done by 2pm or earlier every day. Weekends are free to give my full attention to the pet. I will provide thoughtful care for your pet, and can update you with many photos and videos. I will make sure to collect emergency phone numbers and vet details in case of emergency. And most importantly I will give your pet lots of love while you are away!

About: You can be sure that your sweet pup will get the time, love, care, and exercise that they need while they are in my care! I am currently stay at home with my four year old and own a cleaning company. I only clean a few hours a day Monday through Thursday so I’ll have plenty of time to play with a furry pal! I love to walk around our beautiful neighborhood several times a day to get plenty of steps in. We have a large yard in a safe neighborhood. The dog/dogs will be leashed and with me anytime we are outside. I have a large metal crate that the dog can stay in when it needs a rest!
