“Robin was excellent!! She was very attentive and sent lots of pictures and videos. My pup has some quirks, especially with big dogs but Robin knew exactly how to introduce Steiny to her dog Stella. Stella was also clearly a pro at dealing with the smaller more neurotic fuzz balls lol. It looked like they were best buds by the end. Very much appreciated Robin accommodating my last minute request! Will definitely be reaching out again.”

“I reached out to Lindsay about 2 months ago hoping to try my two dogs in her care and requested they had time outside, exposure to children and animals, and that they were kept safe. Lindsay has always gone above and beyond, my dogs are excited to get in the car and go to daycare and I’m always provided photos at the end of the day. My puppy has gotten to make other puppy friends and is able to play with her children. Lindsay is always on top of medications and is very flexible to my complex work schedule. She is by far more than I could’ve ever asked for.”

About: Hi, I have taken care of my own pets and other people's pets for years. I moved to Mid coast ME 5 yrs ago from Nantucket. I am also a professional gardener, so if you need watering etc while your away. I am currently self employed, so I have a flexible schedule. We can figure out a plan for your pet care. Look forward in planning w you. I have a dog Elka and 2 cats. Elka is easy going dog who loves other dogs and cats. I think the best way is to have the dogs meet and see how things go w them before a care schedule can begin. We have also traveled and cared for other dogs in their homes and everyone gets along.
“Buddy couldn’t stop raving about his day, lol!! I swear I see a smile 😊. Christina was above and beyond with her communication and reassurance on Buddy’s first day. We can’t wait for our next day care day!!”

About: I am a reliable pet sitter with several years of animal care experience. I provide safe, attentive, and compassionate care for dogs, cats and other pets of all sizes and ages! I am patient and committed to maintaining your pet’s routine while you are away. I offer dog boarding, drop-in visits, and doggy daycare. I live in a country setting with a very large backyard that provides plenty of space for exercise, playtime, and potty breaks. I also have a beautiful walking trail and a 40 acre field directly off my backyard for dogs that love to run! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities! I would love the opportunity to meet you and your pet. Please feel free to contact me to discuss your pet care needs or to schedule a meet and greet! Since pet care is my full-time focus, I’m able to stay consistent with feeding times, potty breaks, and any special instructions. My schedule is built around the pets in my care, allowing me to provide reliable, attentive care and maintain each pet’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and at home. I have three small, friendly Chihuahuas and a cat. They’re all well behaved and have always done well with other animals. If needed, I can easily keep them on a separate floor to make sure visiting pets feel comfortable and have their own space.
“Jaclyn is amazing! Sable went for daycare with the plan to get her comfortable for future boarding and it's great. Her home setting allows Sable to socialize but still get individualized attention.”

“Our dog Ollie has been going to Chelsea’s for a few months now and it is the best thing we could have done for him. He loves daycare days and it tires him out for the rest of the week!”

About: I was born into a house with two huge dogs for older siblings (part great dane, part irish wolfhound!) so I'm no stranger to being jumped on! I will lay down the law and reward with treats and butt scritches! I have experience caring for dogs of all ages and have become known as kind of a cat whisperer if I do say so myself. I even have some experience with fish and chickens! I cannot wait to care for your critters! I'm currently working part time due to health reasons so I am a bit more flexible but my schedule does change regularly. I want to work with you to plan as best I can around you and your pets needs! I am very willing to adapt to the environment your pets need most. I prefer house sitting in general as I feel it less work for everyone as well as less stressful for the animals. I will make sure to obtain emergency phone numbers, vet numbers and any other information you may want me to have. And I, of course, will provide as many daily photos as a pet parent could want!
About: I’ve always grown up with a dog in my home. I have experience handling a variety breeds of all sizes, from a small 20lb Cairn Terrier to a 185lb Boerboel! I also have experience administering medication which included oral consumption as well as shots. I have been very reliable to my close family members and friends to take care of their dogs and cats when they are working or away on vacation! Aside from Rover’s guarantee , I am also separately insured to give you an extra ease of mind when choosing me for your sitting needs! Pricing: Please understand pricing is non-negotiable. Prices shown on Rover are accurate and up to date (as of March 2026). Initial pricing shown during search is a base rate - additional rates may apply depending on times/ animals that are needing care. An accurate quote will be provided after submitting a request. I do not offer discounts at this time, thank you for understanding! House Sitting Requests: Please keep in mind that I am catering to repeat clients I have throughout the week day as well! Depending on my schedule, I may not be at your home 24/7, however, I guarantee your pets won’t be alone longer than 5-6 hours. Typically I limit leaving to 2 times a day to accommodate these clients. (I won’t be gone 5-6 hours each time) My coming and going schedule will be provided prior to sitting! Constant Care: Constant care is applied to any sitting that doesn’t allow me to leave for more than 4 hours of the day, per day. Constant care rates start at $175/ night (additional rates still apply) and increase based off of pet’s needs. Please understand this service may not always be available and interferes with ongoing mid day clients. Price reflects alternative arrangements I need to make for existing clients. If you have any questions regarding this, please reach out! I currently only allow one family for boarding at a time. Prices reflect solo care and not having to worry about exposure to other dogs during their stay. I currently have one cat in the home - a 12 year old Maine Coon mix who is very relaxed and tends to mind her own business. Between my boyfriend and I, there is always someone on property, so potty breaks can be provided frequently!
“We are so grateful we found Craig to dog sit for our puppy Enzo. Enzo is a highly energetic dog who takes some time to warm up to strangers, however, he took no time to adjust to Craig. Craig kept us updated through out the day with pictures and videos. We could tell right away that Enzo was having an awesome time. When we picked up Enzo he was tired (from all the fun he had with Penny) and overall just calm and happy. We highly recommend Craig for doggy care!”

About: I have experience with puppies, training, dogs with anxiety, geriatric dogs and more. I also have experience with complex health needs and care in dogs. I work from home as a travel agent. I realized one of the biggest concerns for travelers was their dogs and the thought of having to use kennel services. Since I have the ability to be with the dogs all day it made sense to offer my home and a family setting. Our dog Sweety sleeps with us at night and so do our guest dogs. Unless that isn’t happening at home. The dogs we care for are like family during their visit. We live in a very private setting. While we don’t have fencing, we do have a large private yard on a private dirt road. We live on 5 acres.
