Robin is so great! I’m thankful to have found her and Stella (her pup)! My 3-month old puppy was able to be cared for while I was away. Robin was super communicative and easy going.

About: I am ... (potentially-to-an-unhealthy-degree) *obsessed* with animals. Growing up, I was the little girl nagging her dad to get her kittens or crying to my mom about wanting a puppy, and y'know what? It worked ;) Ever since I was a little girl, we've never been a house without an animal: cats, dogs, birds, fish, hamsters ... you name it, I was listening to my maternal instincts to care for cute, lil' fluffy things and I was in my priiimeee because of it!! As I've gotten older, I've fallen in love with the process of working with animals to ease their anxieties or past traumas, training my dogs to have routine and rules that help them become more confident and secure in themselves, and genuinely just love cuddling, loving up on any animal that comes my way — because they deserve it. Experience with rescues, foster dogs, puppies, elderly dogs. I run my own business and work 100% from home (with the occasional work meeting outside of the house.) I'm looking for a little part-time work that's fulfilling and will give my dog some friends to hang and play with during the day, so — I have plenty of time to love up on your pets while you're busy doing what *you* need to do :) Pets in my house are allowed on furniture, on the couches, etc. We have an awesome backyard that our dogs love playing in, swimming in the pool, chasing squirrels or the occasional lizard ... you know. Highly important dog business and responsibilities to tend to. If you're wanting help in your home, I'm happy to abide by any rules you have for pets but, my general rule in my place is to find ways for them to feel comfortable and capable of feeling at ease with us!

About: I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember, and I'd love the chance to care for your pets like they're my own. I'm a Maine native who recently moved back home after spending the last four years traveling and working as a professional dancer on a cruise ship. Now that I'm settled in Southern Maine, I'm excited to spend more time with animals! I'm an active, reliable, and patient person, so whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, or just having someone to keep them company, I'm happy to match their energy. I also understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I'll always take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family member. I'll send plenty of photo updates, communicate throughout each visit, and make sure your pet gets the attention and care they deserve while you're away. Whether you need drop-in visits, walks, overnight care, or just someone to give your pet extra love, I'd be honored to help. I can't wait to meet you and your best friend! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine! I have a flexible schedule that allows me to prioritize walks, drop-in visits, and giving pets the attention they need throughout the day. I currently teach dance part-time and work remote during the day, but my schedule leaves plenty of time for pet care, and I love having animals as part of my everyday life. I’m an active person who enjoys getting outside, so walks, playtime, and keeping pets engaged are things I genuinely look forward to. I’m also someone who values consistency and routine, and I’ll make sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I care for every pet with the same attention, patience, and love I would want for my own. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent as possible—following feeding schedules, walks, medications (if needed), playtime, and any special instructions you provide. I know pets feel most comfortable in their own environment, so I make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can feel connected and confident that your pet is being well taken care of. My goal is to make your time away stress-free, knowing your furry friend is receiving plenty of love, attention, and companionship.

About: Hey there! I'm Evan, a proud dog dad to Ollie and Kylo. With a flexible work-from-home schedule, I can easily accommodate your pup's daycare, drop-in and walking needs at your convenience. I have a big yard for the dogs to play outside (supervised), great trails for walking/running and plenty of room inside for your furry friend to hang and relax. Your furry friend will enjoy fun, safe, and engaging walks, just like my own dogs do. Let's give your pup the best walking experience! Pet care is a fundamental part of my daily routine. As a dog dad to Ollie and Kylo, I ensure they receive plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and affection every day. My work-from-home schedule allows me to integrate their walks, playtime, and grooming into my day seamlessly. Each morning and evening, we go for walks to keep them healthy and happy as well as playing out in the yard. In my home, I provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for Ollie and Kylo by ensuring they have a consistent routine that includes regular exercise, balanced meals, and plenty of affection. I focus on maintaining a safe and clean living space, regularly grooming them, and keeping their toys and bedding fresh. When caring for pets in my clients' homes, I prioritize understanding each pet's unique needs and routines. I follow any specific instructions provided by the owners, ensuring their pets receive the same level of care and attention they would at home. This includes feeding them according to their schedule, taking them for walks or play sessions, and maintaining any training or behavioral routines. I also make sure to keep the client's home clean and secure, leaving detailed updates on their pet's activities and well-being. My goal is to provide peace of mind to pet owners, knowing their beloved pets are in safe and caring hands.

About: I have always been an animal lover, growing up in the countryside with an array of horses, goats, dogs and cats. I currently have two labradors (one is an *Angel* and can calm even the most nervous Nellies, and the other just wants you to throw the dang ball!). I have a large fenced in area and wooded trails for curious noses:) For sure you can expect your pup will be treated as one of our own with snuggles and comfy places to sleep. Also, my house is very close to several nature preserves; I am an avid hiker, so (if appropriate) longer stays will get field trips! I have help from a trusty teen and am working on a couple projects that allow me incredible flexibility in my schedule. I am really excited to host your furry family members! I am currently at home full-time. Multiple fetch sessions and walks throughout the day are the norm. Walks are either on-site, or at a near by field/preserve. I have two very friendly dogs who would love some company! They sleep wherever -- I do have a twin sized day bed in my room that they sometimes like, but a nervous boarder would be welcome to it:)

About: I grew up dogs from the time I was little- labs, retrievers, shepherds- and had a special needs rescue dog with my partner for many years who lived to be fifteen. When she passed, my partner and I started boarding and house sitting regularly and have built up a pretty cute little pack. I am comfortable giving oral medication and upholding your dog’s schedule, house rules, and love to take field trips whenever possible. My favorite is when a dog can come with me everywhere, so smaller senior pups have become my specialty, but I can’t help but love all the dogs who come along. As a videographer and Maine youth basketball coach I have a lot of flexibility in my work schedule and spend a lot of time working from home editing videos. I’m fairly active, always happy to take breaks from work to walk around the neighborhood or find a pet-friendly beach to run around on. I’m in an apartment very close to Deering Oaks Park and the Western Prom. The apartment is a compact second story walk up and has been carefully maintained to keep it safe for curious noses.

We are so grateful we found Craig to dog sit for our puppy Enzo. Enzo is a highly energetic dog who takes some time to warm up to strangers, however, he took no time to adjust to Craig. Craig kept us updated through out the day with pictures and videos. We could tell right away that Enzo was having an awesome time. When we picked up Enzo he was tired (from all the fun he had with Penny) and overall just calm and happy. We highly recommend Craig for doggy care!

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of August 2026, there are 136 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Bath. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Bath commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in ME ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 136 sitters in Bath, 88% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
