From the moment we started taking to the meet and greet to leaving Remy with her for a few days was fantastic. Her communication was excellent and fast right from the beginning. We weren't gone long before she was already sending pictures which is something we said we would take any time.. throughout our few days away we received many updates and pictures and from the pictures we could see that Remy was very happy and being cared and loved just as we do. Robin's compassion to take care of and spend time with animals is very clear. Remy even seemed a little sad after we picked him up and brought him home like he missed her and her fun dog Stella. About: I've taken care of animals since I was young, often a family friend and now often my own friends! I am open to all animals, any age, any kind. I know how stressed animals can get when their people are away, and I believe in providing a temporary replacement that is as near to their normal as possible. I'm not currently working, so I am mostly free throughout each week! I am able to come and go at any time in the day as well! Safety and trust are my top priority with every pet I care for. For house sitting, I stay in your home to keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible like sticking closely to their usual feeding, medication, and bathroom schedule, keeping doors and gates secure, and making sure the home stays safe and undisturbed while you’re away. Pets tend to feel calmer staying in their own space, and I’m there to give them company and attention throughout. For drop-in visits, I do a quick walkthrough on arrival to make sure everything is as it should be, follow your instructions exactly for feeding, litter box or bathroom needs, and always double check doors and gates are secure before I leave. For walks, dogs stay leashed at all times unless you’ve told me otherwise and I’ve confirmed the area is safe, and I stay alert to traffic, other animals, and weather conditions. For cats, I’m mindful of their comfort level and never force interaction or handling they’re not used to. Across all services, I send photo and text updates so you always know how your pet is doing, and I keep emergency contacts (you and your vet) on hand just in case!

Katie was great i'm about community back and forth about anything that she may have had questions about or vice versa. About: I did dog grooming for five years working with dogs of every shape, size, and aggression level. I even groomed the occasional cat! I also have experience working previously at a dog day care where I kept watch of multiple dogs at once ensuring they were safe and happy while in our care, and separating the occasional fight when need be. I have the fortunate ability to be called upon at anytime for any kind of pet care at this time. The only times I will be occupied are days when I need to run errands and time where I am making sure my own dog and cat are having their needs met. I am willing to adhere to any set boundaries you have set for your pet inside your home. I have no problem working with dogs who can be stand offish, I've safely kept an eye on dogs as little as 2lbs to dogs over 100lbs.

About: I'm an experienced doggy foster, boarding more than 10 new-to-Maine rescues last year before adopting a sweet little pup of my own. As a new dog parent, I know how difficult it can be to find reliable, affordable, overnight care - plus a place my pup will actually enjoy!
