Personalized care for your dog or cat - Bath

Highly-rated overnight sitters - Bath

“My dog is still shaking an upset stomach so I had to make a "game time" decision about whether to board him for the second half of a mini vacation. He was greatly improving so I felt comfortable getting a Rover - if they accepted a dog getting over some illness, of course. Natalie was incredibly understanding, kind, and flexible; taking great care of my boy even when one of his symptoms came back. She followed my written instructions for the special care needed and she sent me some updates throughout. She was also very conscientious of other pets in her care to make sure they didn't get sick. This is our third time staying with Natalie and we really appreciate her warmth, caring nature, responsiveness, and flexibility. Thorin enjoys his overnights there with his new friends! Thank you Natalie!”

“Finding someone that you can trust that will care for and love your fur baby as you do can be challenging. We were able to find someone and more in Robin. From the moment we started taking to the meet and greet to leaving Remy with her for a few days was fantastic. Her communication was excellent and fast right from the beginning. We weren't gone long before she was already sending pictures which is something we said we would take any time.. throughout our few days away we received many updates and pictures and from the pictures we could see that Remy was very happy and being cared and loved just as we do. Robin's compassion to take care of and spend time with animals is very clear. Remy even seemed a little sad after we picked him up and brought him home like he missed her and her fun dog Stella. We can't recommend Robin enough and we will definitely be using again!”

About: I'm an experienced doggy foster, boarding more than 10 new-to-Maine rescues last year before adopting a sweet little pup of my own. As a new dog parent, I know how difficult it can be to find reliable, affordable, overnight care - plus a place my pup will actually enjoy! I routinely pet-sit for friends, and joined Rover to continue expanding my dog's social circle (she *loves* other dogs) while earning supplementary income. My pup, Marcy, is a 1-year old blackmouth cur. She's a regular at the dog park and very well socialized across a range of doggy personalities. I have a safe, calm house with a fenced-in yard. I also work remotely, meaning your dog would have lots of attention and a watchful eye. Although I'm primarily listing my offering as dog boarding at my home, Marcy and I are flexibile so long as there is reliable internet. So please reach out if you prefer boarding at your home instead. Note that Marcy is gentle not prey driven, though she's only been introduced to one cat. If you have kitties, let's do a meet-n-greet to ensure it's a good fit. Reach out with any questions! I work at home, with flexibility around meetings for walks, dog park trips, and potty/training breaks. I’m available to pet sit any day of the week. At my home: I have a 4 ft fenced-in yard for play time, which turns into an at-home dog park when Marcy has a visitor. Note that the fence isn't foolproof for an escape artist or high jumper. Dogs are allowed throughout the house and on couches, if they choose. Sleeping arrangements are flexible, especially knowing visiting pups can sometimes feel more comfortable sleeping in bed with a human. Marcy is crate-trained, and I have a large crate in case your pup needs a designated safe space.
“Breanna was fantastic! Our 10 month old puppy had a blast with her! She sent pictures and provided updates throughout his stay! Will definitely keep her in mind next time we are out of town!”

“Cindy took great care of our pups and provided a home away from home for them. They came home happy and tired. She was responsive, timely and provided daily updates. Will book again!”

About: I have worked many different animal specific jobs over the years. From pet stores, dog bathing, to overnight doggie daycares. There have always been animals around me at home, especially dogs! Now that my childhood dog (Brownie) is getting older, I’ve also gained more experience with senior canines too. I am currently unemployed, so I’ll have plenty of time to give attention to and care for your precious fur friend(s)! I am available for check-ins any day of the week after 11am. While I do not drive myself, my family is retired and able to help with transportation. Please discuss details with me ahead of time for availability if needed (at least a day in advance). My house has a spacious front and backyard, including an invisible fence that both of my dogs are trained with. There are plenty of dog beds, water bowls, and a big bucket of toys lying around inside the house. There is also multiple doggie doors leading from the garage and into the house (both have slide door blockers as well if you need my dogs locked inside). I have my own apartment above the top floor that is separate from the rest of the house. There is an entrance at the back of the building, along with a wooden staircase that leads to my deck and apartment door. If you are boarding, your pets will be staying up here with me for the night. I am located on a quiet dirt road and can offer dog walks to get extra energy out. A bathtub is also available in my apartment if you’d like to give your pooch a soothing spa day (includes brushing, shampoo & conditioner, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, and nail grinding) I love taking photos/videos, don’t hesitate to ask!
“Molly is very organized and does not take multiple dogs in at any time which makes us feel like our dog is really important to her and she is concerned about more than just making money....and that's important when you leave your dog with a stranger...we got regular updates and pictures...good job Molly!”

“Mariah, Kyle and family took good care of our 10 yr. old Portuguese Water Dog during our week long family vacation. They treated him like he was part of the family and he enjoyed being around their dog and another one they were also boarding. Having a fenced in yard was perfect for playing and getting exercise. They were easy to communicate with and wonderful about giving regular updates and sending photos.”

“Christina was great! My 2 typically take a while to settle in and can sometimes not eat for up to 24 hrs, but they both felt comfortable enough to eat the first night! That’s a huge win and shows how relaxed and calming her and the other dogs were. I will definitely book again for our next trip.”

“Hannah was so great with Scout! Scout was a little nervous being in a new setting, but it was very clear how much Hannah went out of her way to make her feel more comfortable!”

“Neil and Abby were great. Good communication and our dog was very happy there - lots of good play time with their dog Molly. Would definitely have Delta board with them again in the future!”

“I’m so happy we found Sergey at the last minute. My two dogs stayed with Sergey’s for six nights. They came home tired, happy, and clean. Sergey was extremely flexible with our timing when our travel was delayed. I would not hesitate to recommend Sergey as a pet sitter.”

“Kymberly and Robert always do such a great job with my Mala. Mala is 15 years old now and has stayed with them many times. She always knows when I pack her travel bag that she will get to vacation with them, and she gets so excited! Ours dogs are family, and it can be hard to leave them, but I never have any concerns whatever when I leave Mala with Kymberly and Robert. They are my trusted sitters!”
“Claudia and Jason were an absolute lifesaver. We needed a last minute sitter while visiting Maine and they came through. Drop off was a breeze and I knew Chase was in good hands. Regular updates including photos reassured myself and the kids that Chase was doing well. I can’t thank them enough and I can honestly attest that your dog is in good hands with them. I would absolutely without hesitation use them again if we’re in town.”

I usually take my dog on hikes or walks around the neighborhood.
“Christine was a lovely host for Bode’s week of summer camp. She was quick to reply, lovely to speak with, but most importantly seemed to really care about Bode’s wellbeing and happiness. She has a huge fenced in yard that he had free reign to, and a lovely in ground pool. We will absolutely book with her again!”

“Abby does an amazing job taking care of our fur babies! I appreciate the pictures she sends from her visits. She even managed to get a pic of our super shy cat! I happily recommend Abby if you’re looking for a sitter.”

“Brooke was terrific! She sent us plenty of photos, kept us up-to-date on our diabetic cat and was very comfortable calling or texting with questions (since we hadn't provided all of the answers). She was on time and extremely caring. We'll definitely be hiring her again.”

“Caroline was so diligent and caring with updating me and sending me photos. She gave me full confidence in her and caring for my cat! Will definitely have her pet sit again.”

“Lily is very nice and easy to work with. She gave my cat his liquid oral medicine and kept his food and kitty litter tidy. Both of my cats are looking forward to having her over again!”

“Cori was accommodating, kind, and very thorough. Our in person meeting calmed my nerves about leaving Seed alone. This was our first experience with Rover and I felt so comfortable with her in my home with my cat. I absolutely would recommend Cori to anyone looking for a pet sitter. Her pictures and notes made my day for the two days I have been gone and we can’t thank her enough for the work she did.”

About: Hello all! My name is Emma Farris and I am 18 years old and i’ll be heading to college this fall! I have had cats since I could remember. My first cat we got when I was around 5. He has just recently passed away, but he was my whole world. Since having him from a young age, that meant I got to experience all different levels of care. Young, ‘teen’, and elderly. He was an indoor/outdoor cat as well which meant he had a pretty good amount of energy! Leaving your child (cause let’s be honest they’re our children) can be a nerve wracking experience! Making sure they get fed, get their meds, etc. The whole time you’re away you’ll worry, it’s just how it goes! But i can assure you, your animal will be in the best possible hands! Your animal is now considered as one of my own for the whole duration of your vacation! 🐈⬛
“Kourtney was an excellent sitter! We had to modify our reservation a couple of times, and she was incredibly flexible with us. She is a wonderful communicator and left thorough updates every day about our cats. She even went above and beyond by shoveling our front walkway after a heavy storm! On top of that, she’s a lovely person and made sure to say hi to us when we saw her at breakfast before our booking! We would absolutely rebook with Kourtney.”

About: I have over 10 years of experience caring for cats and have regularly helped family and friends by checking in on their pets while they’re away. I know how important it is to have someone dependable looking after your cat, and I always treat every pet as if they were my own. During visits, I follow your instructions closely for feeding schedules, litter box care, and any other routines your cat is used to. I also make sure your cat gets attention and playtime, and I’m happy to brush them if they enjoy it. Since every cat has their own personality and preferences, I welcome detailed notes so I can provide the best care possible. I’ve cared for cats of all ages, from young kittens to older cats, and I’ve grown up with cats my entire life. I currently have a 10-month-old cat of my own, which helps me understand just how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care.
“Jenna was totally reliable even when a foot of snow dumped on Brunswick. My cats were obviously well-taken care of but happy to see their cat-mom again. Whole-heartedly recommend Jenna - very pleasant and obviously caring.”

“Natalie is so wonderful with our two cats. She gives them extra love an attention when they need it and follows every instruction perfectly. She is very clear and prompt with her communication. I would highly recommend Natalie as a pet sitter and look forward to booking her again.”

“Maricela was the perfect sitter for our cats! We felt so much better knowing our cats had someone coming and checking in on them every day. Will definitely rebook in the future!”

“Craig and Chelsea were great! They checked-in on our cat while we were out of town. Each visit started on time with a very detailed Rover Card to follow. My husband and I were impressed by the level of professionalism and never worried once. You can tell Craig and Chelsea truly love caring for animals and they provide a very reliable service. Highly recommend!”

“Natalie watched our 13 week old puppy and she had an amazing day! Great care with the added bonus of so much socialization. Our puppy had a fantastic time and passed out on the ride home. Five stars is not enough!”

“Robin is so great! I’m thankful to have found her and Stella (her pup)! My 3-month old puppy was able to be cared for while I was away. Robin was super communicative and easy going.”

About: I have been walking and caring for pets for 2 years now, and it has been an awesome experience. I have been around pets my entire life and have always wanted a career that allowed me to meet and take care of different types of animals. I am reliable and honest which are important qualities when leaving your pet with someone. I will care for each pet like they are my own and will do whatever the owner needs to feel comfortable leaving there pet with me! I am 35 years old, live in Lewiston, ME. In addition to walking and caring for pets for the past 2 years, I have owned two different dogs over the past 15 years which further stamped my interest in developing a career involving animals! I work across the street from my home and can routinely go back and forth to make sure there is consistent care for all pets My home has access to side streets that allow for consistent walks. We are also located near parks which I take my own dog to on a daily basis
“i would definitely book simon again! he was lovely and very accommodating. he gave a thorough report when i picked up my pet who came home calm and taken care of. i was also impressed by his own lovely, and nicely trained dog. that says a lot!”

“Lindsay was great! She gave us tips on where to find vegan food, where we could park our RV as we were going on a whale watching tour. She took Maddie for walks and sent us pictures. Maddie was very comfortable with Lindsay. Lindsay was always quick to answer when we had questions. We highly recommend her.”
“We are so grateful we found Craig to dog sit for our puppy Enzo. Enzo is a highly energetic dog who takes some time to warm up to strangers, however, he took no time to adjust to Craig. Craig kept us updated through out the day with pictures and videos. We could tell right away that Enzo was having an awesome time. When we picked up Enzo he was tired (from all the fun he had with Penny) and overall just calm and happy. We highly recommend Craig for doggy care!”

About: I've taken care of animals since I was young, often a family friend and now often my own friends! I am open to all animals, any age, any kind. I know how stressed animals can get when their people are away, and I believe in providing a temporary replacement that is as near to their normal as possible. I'm not currently working, so I am mostly free throughout each week! I am able to come and go at any time in the day as well! Safety and trust are my top priority with every pet I care for. For house sitting, I stay in your home to keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible like sticking closely to their usual feeding, medication, and bathroom schedule, keeping doors and gates secure, and making sure the home stays safe and undisturbed while you’re away. Pets tend to feel calmer staying in their own space, and I’m there to give them company and attention throughout. For drop-in visits, I do a quick walkthrough on arrival to make sure everything is as it should be, follow your instructions exactly for feeding, litter box or bathroom needs, and always double check doors and gates are secure before I leave. For walks, dogs stay leashed at all times unless you’ve told me otherwise and I’ve confirmed the area is safe, and I stay alert to traffic, other animals, and weather conditions. For cats, I’m mindful of their comfort level and never force interaction or handling they’re not used to. Across all services, I send photo and text updates so you always know how your pet is doing, and I keep emergency contacts (you and your vet) on hand just in case!
About: Hi! My name is Brooke, and I have a lifelong love for animals. I grew up caring for both dogs and cats and currently have two rescued German Shepherds of my own. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities, from playful kittens and puppies to senior pets who need a little extra patience and care. I understand that every pet is unique, and I take the time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having someone keep them company, I’ll do my best to follow their routine and give them the care they deserve. I have experience caring for large dogs, reactive dogs, senior pets, and cats with different personalities and needs. I am also comfortable giving oral medications and injections/shots when needed, following your pet’s care instructions carefully. I offer dog walking and drop-in visits for both dogs and cats. During visits, I can provide fresh water, meals, potty breaks, playtime, medication administration, and plenty of love and attention. My goal is to provide dependable, loving care while giving you peace of mind that your furry family member is safe, happy, and well cared for. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! 🐾 Brooke Mathews, you’re pets new best friend :) My schedule is very flexible. I recently graduated high school and will be attending college locally at SMCC, where I will be studying Early Childhood Education. Since I will be commuting, I have availability throughout the week for drop-in visits and walks. Outside of school, I spend most of my time caring for my two German Shepherds, spending time with my two sisters, and enjoying walks by the water. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I love being active and spending time outdoors. I do my best to accommodate each pet owner’s schedule and will always communicate clearly about my availability. I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and trusted environment for every pet in my care. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or taking them out for a walk, I take the time to learn their routine, understand their needs, and build trust at their own pace. For dog owners: I am confident handling both large and small dogs, including those who may be reactive or require extra leash awareness. I focus on keeping walks safe, enjoyable, and tailored to each dog’s comfort level and personality while maintaining close attention to their surroundings. For cat owners: I offer drop-in visits for a time frame we discuss beforehand and will make sure your cat’s daily needs are met. Whether that includes feeding, fresh water, litter box care, playtime, administering medication, or simply providing companionship, I make each cat feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. My goal is to provide dependable care and give pet owners peace of mind knowing their pets are being treated with patience, kindness, and respect.

I know every dog has a unique personality, and I take the time to make sure they feel relaxed and loved. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos, so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry best friend! I work Monday thru Thursday as a dental assistant, so I am usually free all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! Pet care fits easily into my routine because I dedicate time specifically for it. I’m available on Fridays and throughout the weekend, giving me plenty of time to provide walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention. I enjoy being active and spending time with dogs, so I’m committed to making sure every pet receives reliable, loving care while their owner is away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it a priority to keep their routine as normal as possible. I carefully follow all instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any special care they require. I make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while keeping their environment clean, safe, and comfortable. I’ll also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away. I also can care for your pet in my own home where I do have my own dog who is a beagle and he’s very friendly and loves other pups, I also have three cats who love dogs!
“Caroline is wonderful--she suggested a meet-and-greet which told me that she truly cares about the animals that are entrusted to her care. She was very accommodating and flexible and more than willing to meet our dog, Hoku's needs and desires-playtime in puddles! and long sniffs around the woods. Caroline did a great job introducing Hoku to some lovely canine friends--words cannot convey how grateful I am to know that Hoku was able to enjoy some friendly-pup time and it also that tells me that Hoku was very comfortable and relaxed with Caroline! We will not hesitate to reach out to Caroline again if the need arises. Caroline was also willing and able to drive out to us in the boondocks of Georgetown despite the terrible condition of our dirt road.”
“Joanna did a great job with our pups. She was diligent in keeping her schedule and in keeping us informed about how things went. Any issues, however minor, were communicated to us. (There were no real issues). She kept us posted about daily walks. The photos and short blurbs about daily walks were a nice touch and greatly appreciated. Overall she did a great job and I would highly recommend her . My wife and I look forward to using her services in our future.”

“It was such a relief to have a friendly and reliable person like Corina take care of Finn for me today! I was really grateful for her availability and will definitely reach out to her again.”

“Craig was AWESOME! While we were on vacation his daily Rover cards brought us laughs and assurance our Brody was well taken care of. He was thorough, caring and genuinely enjoying the time he spent with Brody. We will be FOR SURE using him again I’m the future. 11/10 would recommend!!!”

About: I grew up having cats, dogs, and up to 14 rabbits at a time. I found a passion for caring for animals about eight years ago when I attended school to get my certification in Veterinary Assisting. During my time in school, I took an internship at my local animal shelter. I assisted in surgery, provided medical care, administered vaccinations, fed, and cleaned over 50 animals a day; I had my hands on every single animal that came through the shelter. Once my internship was over, they asked me to stay as an Isolation Technician and Veterinary assistant. I was employed there for a little over two years. After my time at the shelter, I worked as a Kennel Technician at a private practice that was much more laid back and routine. I would provide care for 1 dog to up to 60 at a time. These dogs ranged from many different breeds and temperaments. I worked there for a little under 4 years. Now, Unfortunately, I no longer work with animals, so I get my puppy fix by taking care of other people's pets. I cannot imagine my life without caring for animals or having them in my life. In my downtime, I will foster for the animal shelter I was once employed at. I will take feral/ nervous cats, bottle baby kittens, or sick animals whom I nurse back to health. I truly hope you can find comfort that your fur baby will be treated as one of my own. If you could ask one of my 5 cats, they'd gloat about how spoiled they are. Not only do I want your pet's visit to go well, but I also want their humans to remain stress-free and feel comfortable leaving their pets with me. I always stress to ask me anything you'd like and "bug" me as frequently as needed. I have recently started a Facebook page which you can check out! It's called N.R Pet Sitting, feel free to give me a like! I wanted to start this so my clients on Rover and off of Rover can get to know me better along with see what we've been up to (animal-wise). As of now, I am a stay-at-home mom. We recently added a little boy to our family back in December. Due to this, I will be able to constantly supervise your pet and provide them with care throughout the day. I can bring your pet out for potty breaks or walks as frequently as needed. I do not have a fenced-in yard, so I will need a leash and a collar/harness to walk them. We have a couple of big fields in our neighborhood that I like to bring the dogs down to and let them roam on my 40-foot leash. I have some dog toys at home in case they want to play. I clean these after each visit/use. Given my background, you can trust that I know how to act during an emergency, (let's hope this never happens). I would like to have the contact information of their vet. In case of an emergency, there are two emergency clinics in Maine, both about 30-45 minutes away. My overall goal is to provide your dog with a routine similar to what they are used to at home. I want to ensure your pup is not stressed and feels comfortable around me and my family.

About: Thanks for checking out my page! I started doing Rover last fall to help make ends meet as a stay at home mom. It's been a fulfilling opportunity to be there for families when something comes up and their pets need a safe place to stay. Now that my kids are starting school, I'm extending my services to add dog walking and drop in visits Monday through Friday. I have insurance for all of my services. Please reach out if you have any questions! I am a stay at home mom. We have two small children in the house but a lot of flexibility to walk and play as needed! Ranch style house with no stairs and a small back porch with a yard that is NOT fenced in. We have a 25ft vinyl covered tie out cable that reaches most of the backyard so dogs can wander around in the sun, or the shade under the maple trees. There is a spare bedroom for any pets that prefer a quiet place

I usually take my dog on hikes or walks around the neighborhood.

About: Hi! I’m Katie, a lifelong animal lover offering dog walks, drop-in visits, and pet check-ins for all kinds of animals. I understand how important it is to know your pets are safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, potty break, feeding, medication, or just some extra attention and companionship, I’m happy to help. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, and other household pets, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I pride myself on being reliable, communicative, and attentive to each pet’s unique needs. I look forward to meeting you and your furry (or feathered!) family members! As a pet owner myself, I know how much trust it takes to leave your animals in someone else’s care. I have a dog and a cat of my own, so I understand the importance of routine, patience, and lots of love. 🐾 I work full time, so I’m available in the afternoons, evenings, and some weekends. I’m active with my own pup, so your dog can happily join us for walks, playtime, or adventures on the trails! In my home, pets are treated like family. I ensure they’re safe, supervised, and comfortable, with plenty of love, play, and outdoor time. I respect routines and follow all care instructions closely.
About: I have been around animals my entire life. I have worked with all kinds of sizes, temperaments, and personalities. I currently volunteer with the ARLGP, and love the skills I learn every day from the dogs and other animals there. Whether your dog is the easiest to walk, or needs some special attention (and strength!), I am here to help! Your pets may come back with better manners than when they left :) I am a business owner, and am often home at my property in Topsham enjoying the sunshine or local trails with them. Despite my own travel, my schedule is incredibly open and flexible! We have a small portion of our yard that has a light fence, we usually just walk the dogs or take them to the nearby dog park. Our little guy is an ex-escape artist, so we are always double checking, paying attention, and increasing security on walks / outings! Safety is a huge priority!
About: I've been caring for animals since I was young, pet-sitting for our neighbors. I have experience with all sorts of breeds of dogs of all ages and cats. I have experience with feeding, walking, training, and bathing dogs. I am currently working full-time throughout the weekdays. If transporting in the car I have multiple ways to make sure they are safe including harnessing them, crating them, etc. I am also able to bathe the dog if desired.

About: I grew up with dogs and I miss the pure joy they have for this world. I can't own one with my current situation, but would love to look after yours. I'm a working professional who is kind and courteous. If you want me to know anything ask, feel free to ask! -Alex I work a full time remote job, with easy morning and evening walking times. The afternoon tends to be a bit busier for me so I may not be able to take an extended break but can make sure your pup has plenty of bathroom breaks and long walks. I am kind and courteous of other people's space. I offer sitting in your space or walks, because my apartment doesn't allow me to have dogs.
“Marissa is always thoughtful and sweet with my boy, Blue. When we have to leave him, he knows he gets to have a sleepover with his pal Marissa, and it’s like a mini dog vaca for him too. We have such a better time knowing that he’s in great hands!”
