Natalie took great care of our 15 week old Berner puppy!! She had an upset tummy and Natalie was very communicative and offered to feed our pup chicken and rice — we were so relieved to have her and definitely recommend her to care for your pets!

Finding someone that you can trust that will care for and love your fur baby as you do can be challenging. We were able to find someone and more in Robin. From the moment we started taking to the meet and greet to leaving Remy with her for a few days was fantastic. Her communication was excellent and fast right from the beginning. We weren't gone long before she was already sending pictures which is something we said we would take any time.. throughout our few days away we received many updates and pictures and from the pictures we could see that Remy was very happy and being cared and loved just as we do. Robin's compassion to take care of and spend time with animals is very clear. Remy even seemed a little sad after we picked him up and brought him home like he missed her and her fun dog Stella. We can't recommend Robin enough and we will definitely be using again!

A very clean and comfortable environment for my 2 boys to stay while we were away. Good communicator while we were away. Also took on my wild 9mo old golden, who was able to get some energy out in the spacious back yard!

Molly took our dog and guinea pig for ten days while we were out of town. It was the first time we have ever left our pets with a "stranger". Molly instantly put us at ease when we met her and our dog and hers quickly bonded. What's more is that our pup seemed to be looking for her playmates when she got home, almost sad to have left them behind! Thank you so much Molly for caring for our babies while we were gone - we will definitely be coming back to you in the future. :)

Kym and Robert have taken care of our dog, Rosie, multiple times over the last couple of years. They are reliable, caring, and keep us updated with photos and messages while we are away. Rosie is always happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for when we return home. It gives us real peace of mind knowing Rosie is in such good hands. We would absolutely recommend Kym and Robert to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter.

About: I’ve always been around dogs and got my own dog 8 years ago. I have have always taken care of dogs in my neighborhood for long amount of time or for even just to feed or let out. I have a full time job Monday thru Thursday but I’m free on the weekends. I’m most likely will not be available for major holidays . I live in a new apartment building that has a small dog park. I usually take my dog on hikes or walks around the neighborhood.

About: I'm an experienced doggy foster, boarding more than 10 new-to-Maine rescues last year before adopting a sweet little pup of my own. As a new dog parent, I know how difficult it can be to find reliable, affordable, overnight care - plus a place my pup will actually enjoy! I routinely pet-sit for friends, and joined Rover to continue expanding my dog's social circle (she *loves* other dogs) while earning supplementary income. My pup, Marcy, is a 1-year old blackmouth cur. She's a regular at the dog park and very well socialized across a range of doggy personalities. I have a safe, calm house with a fenced-in yard. I also work remotely, meaning your dog would have lots of attention and a watchful eye. Although I'm primarily listing my offering as dog boarding at my home, Marcy and I are flexibile so long as there is reliable internet. So please reach out if you prefer boarding at your home instead. Note that Marcy is gentle not prey driven, though she's only been introduced to one cat. If you have kitties, let's do a meet-n-greet to ensure it's a good fit. Reach out with any questions! I work at home, with flexibility around meetings for walks, dog park trips, and potty/training breaks. I’m available to pet sit any day of the week. At my home: I have a 4 ft fenced-in yard for play time, which turns into an at-home dog park when Marcy has a visitor. Note that the fence isn't foolproof for an escape artist or high jumper. Dogs are allowed throughout the house and on couches, if they choose. Sleeping arrangements are flexible, especially knowing visiting pups can sometimes feel more comfortable sleeping in bed with a human. Marcy is crate-trained, and I have a large crate in case your pup needs a designated safe space.

About: Animals have always been an important part of my life. I grew up with a cat who was much more than a pet—because I didn’t have any brothers or sisters, she was my best friend and constant companion. Later, after meeting my husband, who had a dog, I discovered how much joy dogs bring and how different, fun, and rewarding it is to spend time with them. Now that my own children are older and more independent, I finally have some time to do something I’ve wanted for a while: care for other people’s dogs. Spending time with animals truly makes me happy, and I would love to give your dog the same love, attention, and care that I would give my own. I’ve looked after dogs in my home and understand that every pet is unique. Some dogs love long walks and playtime, while others just want a quiet companion nearby. I’ll happily follow your dog’s routine and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. What really sets me apart is how much I genuinely care. I pay close attention to the little details, carefully follow your instructions, and treat every pet like family. I’ll also send regular photos and updates, so you’ll always know your furry friend is happy and well cared for. I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of time to care for your pet. I’m available for afternoon walks during the week, as well as boarding. Your dog will have regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and lots of attention throughout the day. I always do my best to follow your pet’s usual schedule, so they feel comfortable and at home while you’re away. My home is a safe, pet-friendly environment where dogs are treated like part of the family. They will have plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and a cozy place to rest. . My children are older. They’re gentle and respectful, and they’ll happily play with your dog if that’s something your dog enjoys. I’ll also send regular photo updates, so you’ll always know your pet is happy and well cared for.

About: Hi! My name is Anna and I live in the Midcoast Maine area. I’ve always loved animals and grew up around dogs. Spending time outside walking, hiking, and exploring is one of my favorite things, so getting to do that with dogs is even better. I’m responsible, attentive, and will treat your dog like they’re my own. Whether your pup needs a quick walk, some playtime, or someone to keep them company while you’re away, I’m happy to help. I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes and personalities and will always follow your instructions closely to make sure your pet feels safe and happy. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I make communication a priority and will always keep you updated. I look forward to meeting you and your dog! I work a full-time schedule typically from 8:00am–4:00pm Monday through Friday, so my availability is outside of those hours. I’m available for early morning walks, evening walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting after work. I’m also available most weekends and have flexible availability then for longer visits, walks, or overnight care. I’m happy to work with owners to find a schedule that works best for their pet’s routine. I prioritize safety, trust, and clear communication when caring for pets. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walking routes, and any special needs your pet may have. During walks I make sure dogs are secure on leash and supervised at all times. I treat every pet like my own and will send updates and photos so you feel comfortable knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.

About: I grew up with dogs and I miss the pure joy they have for this world. I can't own one with my current situation, but would love to look after yours. I'm a working professional who is kind and courteous. If you want me to know anything ask, feel free to ask! -Alex I work a full time remote job, with easy morning and evening walking times. The afternoon tends to be a bit busier for me so I may not be able to take an extended break but can make sure your pup has plenty of bathroom breaks and long walks. I am kind and courteous of other people's space. I offer sitting in your space or walks, because my apartment doesn't allow me to have dogs.

100% of Bath sitters also include daily walks in the neighborhood during dog boarding stays. You can also request photo and message updates throughout the stay so you can see which Bath landmarks or neighborhoods your dog is enjoying.

If your dog is a little shy, consider booking a one-night trial stay! This practice run can boost your and your dog’s confidence before your trip.

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Bath home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:

  • Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
  • Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in ME ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
