“We had such a wonderful experience! From the very beginning, they were kind, professional, communicative, and clearly passionate about caring for dogs. I felt completely comfortable knowing my dog was in such great hands. They kept me updated throughout the stay and treated my dog like their own. It was such a relief knowing my pup was happy, safe, and well cared for. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and loving to care for their pets. We will definitely be booking with them again! 🐾❤️”

“We are so happy that we found Natalie & Tim. They instantly made Penny feel safe and loved. We had total peace of mind. I highly recommend them for any pet care needs!”

“We left our dog with Blair and her pack for a few nights. Blair was patient and a great listener to learn about our dog's needs. Her own dogs are great with other dogs. Blair communicated frequently with updates and photos while our dog was staying with her. She and her dogs were very accommodating for our dog. I would definitely bring our dog back as needed and recommend Blair's service to others.”

“I cannot thank Christina enough for taking such amazing care of my little Zoey while I was out of town. Not only was Christina super flexible with meeting me beforehand for introductions, but she was very accommodating with adjusting Zoey’s stay as I was getting back to work. I received regular updates with pictures and messages, and I could tell Zoey was having the time of her life on Christina’s farm with her other animals (Zoey loved the ducks!). I really felt like this was Zoey’s home away from home :) I will be booking with Christina for all of my boarding needs for the rest of my time in Maine! Highly, highly, highly recommend!”

“Alicia and Dave were great with Cosmo. He was very comfortable there with them and their dog, and they were great at giving him his medications. Always tough to find someone to watch these dogs with some medical issues, but they didn’t miss a beat. Loved getting the picture updates.”
“We have used many dog sitters in the long life of our old dog and this was one of the best we have ever had. I so appreciated how very thorough they were at the meet & greet obtaining all the pertinent info needed about my dog, with notepad in hand, above and beyond what I would have remembered to impart. So I knew right away she would be in very good hands. Top of the line in knowledge about dogs, home, neighborhood, fenced in yard and conscientiousness. Paisley had a great stay. We are always grateful to have a home away from home for our girl that leaves us worry free about her care. Terry & Sheree are very responsive, shared photos to us, they walked her and made her feel right at home. We highly recommend them for your pets but please leave room for us to go back. Thanks Terry & Sheree. Hope you don't get so busy you can't fit us. We will be back!”

“Marna and family took excellent care of Gus. Daily updates were provided and prompt/detailed communication about drop off/pick up made a quick getaway stress free. He was a part of the family and was a happy, tired boy when he came home. We’ve already booked our next stay!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Alma, who invited our Whoopie into her home and family. When possible, Alma also arranges a meet and greet before the stay to ensure a good fit. Thank you so much Alma! We hope we can meet again and reunite dogs and people.”

“Natalie took care of our older Italian Greyhound for a long weekend. She listened thoughtfully to all the intel on Poe we thought would be helpful for a great visit (including wardrobe info!). We felt at ease leaving him in her care. She picked up on his quirks very quickly and adjusted to his behavior/needs. She understands dogs. Highly recommend her!”

“Craig was very accommodating and absolutely amazing with my dog hazel! She’s normally a littler tentative around men but she immediately took to him. He sent frequent updates and great photos including a video of hazel snoring in his lap. By the time we picked her up I’m not sure she wanted to leave.”

About: Caring, energetic, dog lover available to provide walks, general care and companionship either at owners home or at my place with a fenced-in yard. I have a flexible schedule when I’m in town but I travel once a month for a few days. I’m seeking arrangements that are aligned. I’d be happy to provide walks, drop in to the dog’s home to care for them or care for the dog for a half day or longer in my home. I have a fenced in yard.
About: We have a passion for dogs. I myself have cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and health needs including medication, special diets, and have experience caring for injuries and elderly dogs. My partner and I both work full time with rotating schedules. Most days someone is home. On the few days where we are both working, the dogs are free to go in and out of the dog room to the fenced in area outside. I have a 2 year old lab/golden retriever who loves all other dogs, loves to play, and really enjoys having other dogs around. We have a dog room downstairs with an open door to a covered patio and fenced in grass area for the dogs to play, cool off, and use the bathroom at their own needs.
About: I have experienced with a variety of pets - my own, petsitting, and volunteering with shelter cats! I’ve cared for animals young and old, shy and bold, and treat them all like my own. Services I provide: - Cat drop-ins - Small to medium dog walks and drop-ins - Small animal drop-ins, as well as hosting in my home on a case by case basis (in a room inaccessible to my cats). I have experience with bunnies, reptiles, and small rodents! I have a full-time job, but I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so I can almost always make a drop-in visit work! I’ll ALWAYS hit the necessities: food, clean water, playtime, pets, and a clean litter box for cats (I feel very strongly about this last one - I won’t leave your home without scooping!) Since I’m petite, I only work with small to medium dogs. I want to make sure that both me and your pup stay safe on our walks together, so I feel that it’s important to stay within my comfort zone! I’m happy to have some playtime with your dog in a fenced yard as well.
“Lindsay did such a great job with our pug, Chloe. She sent photos, played with her, took her for long walks. When we picked Chloe up - she was perfectly calm and clearly felt comfortable and lived with Lindsay.”

“Lindsay was so great! My two cats were only with her for a short stay but she was very responsive, sent updates with photos, and followed their care instructions incredibly precisely. My boys seemed to come back super comfortable and happy.”

Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
98% of sitters in Woolwich can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Woolwich.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in ME ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
