Lindsay has always gone above and beyond, my dogs are excited to get in the car and go to daycare and I’m always provided photos at the end of the day. My puppy has gotten to make other puppy friends and is able to play with her children. Lindsay is always on top of medications and is very flexible to my complex work schedule. She is by far more than I could’ve ever asked for.”

About: I have experience with puppies, training, dogs with anxiety, geriatric dogs and more. I also have experience with complex health needs and care in dogs. I work from home as a travel agent. I realized one of the biggest concerns for travelers was their dogs and the thought of having to use kennel services. Since I have the ability to be with the dogs all day it made sense to offer my home and a family setting. Our dog Sweety sleeps with us at night and so do our guest dogs. Unless that isn’t happening at home. The dogs we care for are like family during their visit. We live in a very private setting. While we don’t have fencing, we do have a large private yard on a private dirt road. We live on 5 acres.

About: I have always been an animal lover, growing up in the countryside with an array of horses, goats, dogs and cats. I currently have two labradors (one is an *angel* and can calm even the most Nervous Nellies, and the other just wants you to throw the dang ball!). I have a large fenced-in area, wooded trails for curious noses and a food dehydrator for the occasional, chewy treat (with permission). For sure you can expect that your pup will be treated as one of our own with play, snuggles and comfy places to sleep. I have help from a trustworthy teen and, at present, incredible flexibility in my schedule. I am really excited to host your furry family members! I am currently at home full-time. Multiple fetch sessions and walks throughout the day are the norm. Walks are either on-site, or at a nearby field/preserve. I have two very friendly dogs who would love some company! They sleep wherever -- I do have a twin sized day bed in my room that they sometimes like, but a nervous boarder would be welcome to it:)

I have been around pets my entire life and have always wanted a career that allowed me to meet and take care of different types of animals. I am reliable and honest which are important qualities when leaving your pet with someone. About: I have lots of experience working with animals, including time working at an animal hospital during high school, where I learned to care for pets of all kinds. In my home i have one dog a very friend golden retriever who loves playdates and we have a big yard by woods. About: I'm an experienced doggy foster, boarding more than 10 new-to-Maine rescues last year before adopting a sweet little pup of my own. As a new dog parent, I know how difficult it can be to find reliable, affordable, overnight care - plus a place my pup will actually enjoy! I routinely pet-sit for friends, and joined Rover to continue expanding my dog's social circle (she *loves* other dogs) while earning supplementary income. My pup, Marcy, is a 1-year old blackmouth cur. She's a regular at the dog park and very well socialized across a range of doggy personalities. I have a safe, calm house with a fenced-in yard. I also work remotely, meaning your dog would have lots of attention and a watchful eye. Although I'm primarily listing my offering as dog boarding at my home, Marcy and I are flexibile so long as there is reliable internet. So please reach out if you prefer boarding at your home instead. Note that Marcy is gentle not prey driven, though she's only been introduced to one cat. If you have kitties, let's do a meet-n-greet to ensure it's a good fit. Reach out with any questions! I work at home, with flexibility around meetings for walks, dog park trips, and potty/training breaks. I’m available to pet sit any day of the week. At my home: I have a 4 ft fenced-in yard for play time, which turns into an at-home dog park when Marcy has a visitor. Note that the fence isn't foolproof for an escape artist or high jumper. Dogs are allowed throughout the house and on couches, if they choose. Sleeping arrangements are flexible, especially knowing visiting pups can sometimes feel more comfortable sleeping in bed with a human. Marcy is crate-trained, and I have a large crate in case your pup needs a designated safe space.

About: I have had dogs and cats most of my adult life. I truly love the bond between a pet and caregiver. I’m a true believer that pets are family and should be treated as such. I’m physically active and enjoy the outdoors. Experienced in basic care and needs of dogs and cats I work part time, and I am very flexible with my schedule. I would be open to overnights possibly depending on the length of time. I be would prefer to care for your pet in your home. I have a cat and it’s better for me to come to your home.
