“Anna did a great job with our dog, Vessy. She sent daily updates, and Vessy was clearly well cared for. I would definitely recommend Anna and will for sure ask for her to dog sit again in the future.”

About: I’m an experienced dog caregiver with a deep understanding of senior and special-needs dogs. I previously owned and lovingly cared for a rescued Cavalier King Charles Cocker Spaniel with special needs, which gave me hands-on experience managing medication schedules, mobility limitations, and the extra patience and attentiveness elderly dogs require. In addition to my own dog, I’ve helped care for other senior dogs with varying needs, temperaments, and energy levels. I’m comfortable providing gentle, routine-focused care that prioritizes comfort, safety, and consistency—especially for dogs who need a calmer, more thoughtful approach. While my strongest experience is with senior and special-needs dogs, I truly love dogs of all ages. I enjoy caring for puppies and younger dogs and focus on maintaining their routines, providing appropriate enrichment, and ensuring they feel secure and well cared for. I’m not a trainer, but I am patient, observant, and confident handling dogs of all temperaments. With each visit, I provide detailed updates and photos so you can feel informed and at ease while you’re away. Whether your dog is young, elderly, or somewhere in between, I care for every animal as if they were my own. I’m a personal trainer and online fitness coach, which allows me to maintain a flexible schedule. This flexibility lets me accommodate a wide range of days and times, as long as we coordinate in advance to ensure the best care for your pet. I’m happy to provide care in my client’s home, where pets are able to stay comfortable and maintain their normal routines. This includes feeding, fresh water, administering medication when needed, cleaning living areas, enrichment, and attentive companionship. For dogs, I’m happy to take them on walks and spend time outdoors in parks or other appropriate public spaces, always prioritizing safety and your dog’s individual needs. Due to rental restrictions, I’m unable to host large dogs in my home, but can accomodate small and medium sized pets. I am also able to care for animals who live in—or can comfortably stay in—enclosed habitats for short durations, such as hamsters, rabbits, lizards, and other small animals. I have experience caring for a variety of small critters and maintain a separate office space in my home where they can be kept safely away from my personal pets. Regardless of the service, I provide clear communication, detailed updates, and photos with each visit so you can feel confident your pet is receiving thoughtful, reliable care.
“Stephanie was great! She was a huge help when another sitter cancelled last minute. She took great care of our dog and home and communicated well through the experience. We would definitely re-book with her if ever needed! Thank you, Stephanie!”

“One of my favorite Rover sitters! Communication was great! Fallowed directions. I came back after a long day to happy tired dogs. Falisity walked and played with my dogs. If you are at Shore Hills campground look for her on Rover”

About: I'm a work at home pet mom with a large yard, lots of toys, and a calm and welcoming house. I've always had large dogs from mixed breeds to Great Danes, but love and appreciate all types of well mannered dogs. My house sits well off the road, so its quiet and I hike or trail walk almost daily. I am adept at giving medicine, cleaning wounds and dealing with incontinent dogs, but I will only board dogs who are respectful of my cats. I am currently working from home on my own schedule. Boarded dogs who enjoy car rides can come with me on errands or outings. While each day may different, my activities will be built around the needs of the animals I am caretaking, especially if separation anxiety is an issue. I will care for your animals as per your instructions and the capabilities of your pet. I do not have a fenced in yard, but have installed a run line in the past. If a dog is used to being crated, receiving treats, or sleeping on the couch - no problem. Conversely, I don't give animals people food, and if you want your pets to stay off furniture I will strictly honor that as well. My house is small but open, so it is easy to keep an eye on them.
“Our dog Charlie is very shy and takes time to warm up to people. He loves Atlas. We know he is very well taken care of while we are gone. Our flight was delayed and she came back the next day to take care of him until we got home. She even cleaned up before she left. We are so grateful for her!”

“Liseli is amazing with our big dog, Tycho. He gets really excited when he sees her. I felt very comfortable with Liseli staying in our home and taking care of our little buddies.”

About: Hello, I’m Luci (legal name Hannah)! I have been taking care of dogs my entire life, from chihuahuas to huskies I have seen/cared for most breeds. I know that every pet has their own unique needs and personality, I’m here to help you be the best pet owner you can. I have a very flexible schedule and can work around you and your pets needs. I’m available any time during the week and weekends, give me a heads up and we can coordinate! I prefer to do at home care but if necessary I offer short term boarding at my home. I have a small house in Monmouth with a tiny yard. It’s a very safe neighborhood on a 10mph road with only residential traffic. I’m near the water too, so if your dog likes swimming I’m your girl!
“Dear Craig, Can’t that you enough for making time in your schedule to take care of Angus during my medical stay! It was such a relief that he was in your care again! Best, Leslie”

About: I’m attending a Vet Tech program and going on to Veterinary school. I have volunteered at ARLGP for over a year. I’m very passionate about animals health! I also obtained my Fear free training so I can better understand animal behavior and work with them. I own three cats and a dog! Maine coons need to be brushed frequently because of their long hair and cleaning litter boxes, dog walks and more! Animals are apart of a family, they have needs and wants as well. They can communicate to you through their body movements and actions. I make sure they are heard and get the care that will help them be healthy and happy!

About: I have years of experience with a variety of special needs pets. I work from home so there is plenty of time for playtime, exercise and lots of snuggles. Your home or mine. Short stay or long. I’ll give your furry friend the VIPet treatment they deserve! My work from home schedule is pretty flexible and I’m available for drop off/pick up most anytime between 9am and 7pm, seven days a week I live in a spacious house with a big yard in a very dog friendly neighborhood. It’s a popular area for walking, and a short stroll to nearby hiking trails.
“Samantha took such great care of our almost 2 year old lab. She kept us updated and sent lots of photos which made us feel so relaxed while we were away. She gave him medication and was graciously flexible with being asked to do so at the last minute. We would highly recommend her services and we look forward to having her care for our little (80lb) guy again in the future.”

About: Hello, my name is Sierra. I enjoy trail walks and dogs of all ages and sizes. I have walked dogs of my own as well as neighbor’s dogs who were unable to do it themselves. I am looking for a way to meet new members in my community and help take their pets in adventures along the way. I am concluding my masters and Umaine and could use a four legged pal to explore as that chapter closes. I will provide many encouraging pats, water, treats (per your instructions) and enthusiasm. I enjoy dogs with all my heart and need something to brighten up my day during this time as well as helping those who are unable to walk their pals. I am more than happy to answer any questions and formulate a schedule if anyone is interested! I hope you be able to work with you and your companion in the near future. Thank you for your time. My availability is M-F after 5; after 6 Saturday and Sunday. I do morning walks around 5 am M-F as well for ~2 hrs for those who have pals that enjoy longer walks. To ensure your pets safety a detailed list of your pets needs and important contact information with your number and/or your vets number will be made after the initial interview with me!
“I can’t recommend Heather highly enough. She was so sweet with our dogs and very thorough during our initial meeting. While we were out of town, she stayed at our house and went above and beyond caring for babies and our space- she vacuumed at the end of her stay and even shoveled our deck, both without being asked. Each day we were gone, Heather sent us multiple photos and updates. We would book with her again in a heartbeat!”

“Catherine house sat our brown lab for 14 days. Our dog has separation anxiety and Catherine made tremendous efforts to comfort our dog and make her feel at ease. It was obvious that Catherine loves animals and our dog connected with her at our first meeting. Catherine kept us informed and asked questions before activities like car rides and walks, both of which our dog loves. We never experienced any issues and look forward to having her house sit for us again in the future.”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was young, but just started pet sitting a couple years ago and have worked in the veterinarian field for 5 yrs now. You can also find me helping out in the kennel some days. I currently work full time at a veterinary clinic, usually 4 days a wk. I do work 10 hour days, but always make it a point to go back for a potty break at lunch when housesitting. I have a large, unfenced yard. I do have a tie out or can walk on leash. There are 2 cats in house, that are used to dogs being around. There is also a rabbit, but he is caged.
