About: I’ve never not had a pet in my house hold, owning cats, dogs, and even lizards and hamsters over the years. Growing up I also pet sat for birds, snakes, dogs, cats, and fish as well as worked on a horse farm for two summers. My own personal dog is a senior lad at the age of 14 years and have a kitten at home. Ive worked with puppies, adult dogs, and senior pups, kitten and full grown cats. I love to spend time playing and petting them (if thats what they want) and will do my best to love them a fraction of what you do to keep them happy while you’re away! I work in Portland until 4pm every week day and get back to the area around 5. I would be free to care for your pets from around 5:30pm-6:20am. I can feed, walk, brush, pet, and/or play with any of the animals you may have tailoring to whatever best suits their needs, I am an animal lover and want to best support the critters in any way I can in your absence.

About: I've been dog/cat/petsitting for the past 12 years. I started when I was 16 with my neighbor's cat, and grew from there. Over the years, I have also worked at a doggy daycare as a mischief manager, a vet's office as a tech, and a shelter as a med tech. I do have experience (4 years) of injections and administering medicine. Above all, I also just have a huge heart for animals. Plain and simple, they all deserve love and care. I work remotely as a freelancer, and so I am able to still provide full attention to your animals during the day. Working my own schedule means I mold it to your pet's schedule! I will treat your home with the most respect. I will work hard to make sure all pet safety procedures you have are followed to a T.

About: I have had dogs and taken care of dogs and cats since childhood. In my more recent years I have dog sat for family members and neighbors. I have enjoyed being able to give peace of mind to them knowing their pets are safe, happy, and cared for. Owning a dog and cat myself I understand the stress and fear of having to leave your pets. Whether it’s work, vacation and other life events it can feel like you’re leaving a piece of your heart behind while you’re away. I strive to bridge that gap and be able to provide peace of mind. My dog is a rescue and came to me with some behavioral challenges: fear, reactivity, resource guarding and separation anxiety. Since being with me he is a thriving boy with manners and is learning new skills and tricks every week! That being said I don’t scare easily and have experience managing a variety of behaviors. I know from experience leaving a pet that has some big feelings at times can be even more challenging and thats where I come in. To offer you peace of mind knowing your dog or cat will be safe and cared for with me. I firmly believe in the saying no bad dogs and would love to get the opportunity to take one worry off your plate while you are away! I have summers off and am able to be around as much or as little as needed for your pet in the summers as that is a busy time for vacations. I do structured schedules with play, train walk and rest times with pets. I can also create scheduled enrichment times throughout our time together. I try to cater what we are doing based on needs of the dog so they are fulfilled.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was young, but just started pet sitting a couple years ago and have worked in the veterinarian field for 5 yrs now. You can also find me helping out in the kennel some days. I currently work full time at a veterinary clinic, usually 4 days a wk. I do work 10 hour days, but always make it a point to go back for a potty break at lunch when housesitting. I have a large, unfenced yard. I do have a tie out or can walk on leash. There are 2 cats in house, that are used to dogs being around. There is also a rabbit, but he is caged.

About: I have experience with animals from Great Danes to Fancy rats. I have training experience as well with things such as potty training, walking etiquette, and a few show tricks. I have college classes in the afternoons but my mornings and nights are wide open on weekdays. As for weekends its just dependent on the day so I'll need advanced notice. I have a small yard, and within a quarter mile from the nearest park. I can give potty breaks ever hour if need be, and I'm great at matching an animals energy level.

About: Hello, my name is Sierra. I enjoy trail walks and dogs of all ages and sizes. I have walked dogs of my own as well as neighbor’s dogs who were unable to do it themselves. I am looking for a way to meet new members in my community and help take their pets in adventures along the way. I am concluding my masters and Umaine and could use a four legged pal to explore as that chapter closes. I will provide many encouraging pats, water, treats (per your instructions) and enthusiasm. I enjoy dogs with all my heart and need something to brighten up my day during this time as well as helping those who are unable to walk their pals. I am more than happy to answer any questions and formulate a schedule if anyone is interested! I hope you be able to work with you and your companion in the near future. Thank you for your time. My availability is M-F after 5; after 6 Saturday and Sunday. I do morning walks around 5 am M-F as well for ~2 hrs for those who have pals that enjoy longer walks.
