About: I’m an experienced dog caregiver with a deep understanding of senior and special-needs dogs. I previously owned and lovingly cared for a rescued Cavalier King Charles Cocker Spaniel with special needs, which gave me hands-on experience managing medication schedules, mobility limitations, and the extra patience and attentiveness elderly dogs require. In addition to my own dog, I’ve helped care for other senior dogs with varying needs, temperaments, and energy levels. I’m comfortable providing gentle, routine-focused care that prioritizes comfort, safety, and consistency—especially for dogs who need a calmer, more thoughtful approach. While my strongest experience is with senior and special-needs dogs, I truly love dogs of all ages. I enjoy caring for puppies and younger dogs and focus on maintaining their routines, providing appropriate enrichment, and ensuring they feel secure and well cared for. I’m not a trainer, but I am patient, observant, and confident handling dogs of all temperaments. With each visit, I provide detailed updates and photos so you can feel informed and at ease while you’re away. Whether your dog is young, elderly, or somewhere in between, I care for every animal as if they were my own. I’m a personal trainer and online fitness coach, which allows me to maintain a flexible schedule. This flexibility lets me accommodate a wide range of days and times, as long as we coordinate in advance to ensure the best care for your pet. I’m happy to provide care in my client’s home, where pets are able to stay comfortable and maintain their normal routines. This includes feeding, fresh water, administering medication when needed, cleaning living areas, enrichment, and attentive companionship. For dogs, I’m happy to take them on walks and spend time outdoors in parks or other appropriate public spaces, always prioritizing safety and your dog’s individual needs. Due to rental restrictions, I’m unable to host large dogs in my home, but can accomodate small and medium sized pets. I am also able to care for animals who live in—or can comfortably stay in—enclosed habitats for short durations, such as hamsters, rabbits, lizards, and other small animals. I have experience caring for a variety of small critters and maintain a separate office space in my home where they can be kept safely away from my personal pets. Regardless of the service, I provide clear communication, detailed updates, and photos with each visit so you can feel confident your pet is receiving thoughtful, reliable care.

About: I’ve never not had a pet in my house hold, owning cats, dogs, and even lizards and hamsters over the years. Growing up I also pet sat for birds, snakes, dogs, cats, and fish. My own personal dog is a senior lad at the age of 14 years and have a kitten at home. Ive worked with puppies, adult dogs, and senior pups, kitten and full grown cats. I love to spend time playing and petting them (if thats what they want) and will do my best to love them a fraction of what you do to keep them happy while you’re away! I work in Portland until 4pm every week day and get back to the area around 5. I would be free to care for your pets from around 5:30pm-6:20am. I can feed, walk, brush, pet, and/or play with any of the animals you may have tailoring to whatever best suits their needs, I am an animal lover and want to best support the critters in any way I can in your absence.

About: I’m attending a Vet Tech program and going on to Veterinary school. I have volunteered at ARLGP for over a year. I’m very passionate about animals health! I also obtained my Fear free training so I can better understand animal behavior and work with them. I own three cats and a dog! Maine coons need to be brushed frequently because of their long hair and cleaning litter boxes, dog walks and more! Animals are apart of a family, they have needs and wants as well. They can communicate to you through their body movements and actions. I make sure they are heard and get the care that will help them be healthy and happy!

About: I have years of experience with a variety of special needs pets. I work from home so there is plenty of time for playtime, exercise and lots of snuggles. Your home or mine. Short stay or long. I’ll give your furry friend the VIPet treatment they deserve! My work from home schedule is pretty flexible and I’m available for drop off/pick up most anytime between 9am and 7pm, seven days a week I live in a spacious house with a big yard in a very dog friendly neighborhood. It’s a popular area for walking, and a short stroll to nearby hiking trails.

About: I have experience with animals from Great Danes to Fancy rats. I have training experience as well with things such as potty training, walking etiquette, and a few show tricks. I have college classes in the afternoons but my mornings and nights are wide open on weekdays. As for weekends its just dependent on the day so I'll need advanced notice. I have a small yard, and within a quarter mile from the nearest park. I can give potty breaks ever hour if need be, and I'm great at matching an animals energy level.

About: I have had dogs and cats since I was a child. I also have experience with a variety of large and small livestock and bearded dragons including one that has special needs. Will gladly look after a variety of pets. I currently work from home so I have a flexible schedule to provide what your pets need while you are away. I am available on weekdays and weekends. I prefer to look after your pets in your home as I feel they are happiest in their familiar environment. I have one mature cat that can be a bit anti social.

About: I’ve had pet dogs and cats since I was 5 years old. I’ve always loved taking care of them, and being someone that they can rely on. Caring for animals is a big part of my life and something I hope to be forever passionate about! I am working full-time for the summer. I am a college student who will be going back to part time in the fall to finish my last year. I’m mostly free in the evenings and on odd days during the week since I work a rotating schedule. The fall will look different as I’ll be working part-time while also going to school! I’ve been handling large dogs since I was a young teenager, so I’m very comfortable with all types of breeds. I’d consider myself very gentle when it comes to animal care.

About: Since becoming fully remote for my full time job in 2020, I have taken on the roll of “trusted pet-sitter” for over 30 families and almost 50 furry friends. Back home in Maryland, I connected with these families just through word-of-mouth and referrals from happy families. About: I'm a work at home pet mom with a large yard, lots of toys, and a calm and welcoming house. I've always had large dogs from mixed breeds to Great Danes, but love and appreciate all types of well mannered dogs. My house sits well off the road, so its quiet and I hike or trail walk almost daily. I am adept at giving medicine, cleaning wounds and dealing with incontinent dogs, but I will only board dogs who are respectful of my cats. I am currently working from home on my own schedule. Boarded dogs who enjoy car rides can come with me on errands or outings. While each day may different, my activities will be built around the needs of the animals I am caretaking, especially if separation anxiety is an issue. I will care for your animals as per your instructions and the capabilities of your pet. I do not have a fenced in yard, but have installed a run line in the past. If a dog is used to being crated, receiving treats, or sleeping on the couch - no problem. Conversely, I don't give animals people food, and if you want your pets to stay off furniture I will strictly honor that as well. My house is small but open, so it is easy to keep an eye on them.
