About: I’m an experienced dog caregiver with a deep understanding of senior and special-needs dogs. I previously owned and lovingly cared for a rescued Cavalier King Charles Cocker Spaniel with special needs, which gave me hands-on experience managing medication schedules, mobility limitations, and the extra patience and attentiveness elderly dogs require. In addition to my own dog, I’ve helped care for other senior dogs with varying needs, temperaments, and energy levels. I’m comfortable providing gentle, routine-focused care that prioritizes comfort, safety, and consistency—especially for dogs who need a calmer, more thoughtful approach. While my strongest experience is with senior and special-needs dogs, I truly love dogs of all ages. I enjoy caring for puppies and younger dogs and focus on maintaining their routines, providing appropriate enrichment, and ensuring they feel secure and well cared for. I’m not a trainer, but I am patient, observant, and confident handling dogs of all temperaments. With each visit, I provide detailed updates and photos so you can feel informed and at ease while you’re away. Whether your dog is young, elderly, or somewhere in between, I care for every animal as if they were my own. I’m a personal trainer and online fitness coach, which allows me to maintain a flexible schedule. This flexibility lets me accommodate a wide range of days and times, as long as we coordinate in advance to ensure the best care for your pet. I’m happy to provide care in my client’s home, where pets are able to stay comfortable and maintain their normal routines. This includes feeding, fresh water, administering medication when needed, cleaning living areas, enrichment, and attentive companionship. For dogs, I’m happy to take them on walks and spend time outdoors in parks or other appropriate public spaces, always prioritizing safety and your dog’s individual needs. Due to rental restrictions, I’m unable to host large dogs in my home, but can accomodate small and medium sized pets. I am also able to care for animals who live in—or can comfortably stay in—enclosed habitats for short durations, such as hamsters, rabbits, lizards, and other small animals. I have experience caring for a variety of small critters and maintain a separate office space in my home where they can be kept safely away from my personal pets. Regardless of the service, I provide clear communication, detailed updates, and photos with each visit so you can feel confident your pet is receiving thoughtful, reliable care.
“April did an amazing job with my two Bernese mountain dogs. She gave constant updates and I felt very comfortable that everything was well taken care of. My home was exactly how I left it. I would definitely recommend her and will use her again for sure.”

“Ruby did a great job taking care of my 2 dogs and our house. She housesitted for us for a week, stayed in regular communication and gave our dogs lots of exercise! We’ve already booked her for our next trip!”

“Paige is a life saver!!! I’m able to go away w no stress while she takes excellent care of my fuzzy ones! So thankful for Rover, and for Paige’s four years of helping me head out for work and vacation!!!”

“Atlas is the best dog sitter we’ve found on this app - probably that we’ve found ever. We cannot recommend her more highly. She went above and beyond for our dogs and was quickly our reactive dog’s favorite person. We’ll be booking with Atlas for all our future travel and dog sitting needs.”

“Carla took extra time to get to know our anxious little dog before she came to stay with him while we were traveling. He was relaxed and happy when we came home and she was the perfect guest, so considerate. We have already asked her to return.”

“Liseli is an absolute delight-our dog Winnie was super comfortable with her from the first meeting. Winnie was in great spirits when we got home. The house was in A+++ condition! Thank you, Liseli! So happy!!”

About: I’m attending a Vet Tech program and going on to Veterinary school. I have volunteered at ARLGP for over a year. I’m very passionate about animals health! I also obtained my Fear free training so I can better understand animal behavior and work with them. I own three cats and a dog! Maine coons need to be brushed frequently because of their long hair and cleaning litter boxes, dog walks and more! Animals are apart of a family, they have needs and wants as well. They can communicate to you through their body movements and actions. I make sure they are heard and get the care that will help them be healthy and happy!
About: I have had dogs and cats since I was a child. I also have experience with a variety of large and small livestock and bearded dragons including one that has special needs. Will gladly look after a variety of pets. I currently work from home so I have a flexible schedule to provide what your pets need while you are away. I am available on weekdays and weekends. I prefer to look after your pets in your home as I feel they are happiest in their familiar environment. I have one mature cat that can be a bit anti social.
About: I'm a work at home pet mom with a large yard, lots of toys, and a calm and welcoming house. I've always had large dogs from mixed breeds to Great Danes, but love and appreciate all types of well mannered dogs. My house sits well off the road, so its quiet and I hike or trail walk almost daily. I am adept at giving medicine, cleaning wounds and dealing with incontinent dogs, but I will only board dogs who are respectful of my cats. I am currently working from home on my own schedule. Boarded dogs who enjoy car rides can come with me on errands or outings. While each day may different, my activities will be built around the needs of the animals I am caretaking, especially if separation anxiety is an issue. I will care for your animals as per your instructions and the capabilities of your pet. I do not have a fenced in yard, but have installed a run line in the past. If a dog is used to being crated, receiving treats, or sleeping on the couch - no problem. Conversely, I don't give animals people food, and if you want your pets to stay off furniture I will strictly honor that as well. My house is small but open, so it is easy to keep an eye on them.
“Stephanie was great! She was a huge help when another sitter cancelled last minute. She took great care of our dog and home and communicated well through the experience. We would definitely re-book with her if ever needed! Thank you, Stephanie!”

About: Hello, I’m Luci (legal name Hannah)! I have been taking care of dogs my entire life, from chihuahuas to huskies I have seen/cared for most breeds. I know that every pet has their own unique needs and personality, I’m here to help you be the best pet owner you can. I have a very flexible schedule and can work around you and your pets needs. I’m available any time during the week and weekends, give me a heads up and we can coordinate! I prefer to do at home care but if necessary I offer short term boarding at my home. I have a small house in Monmouth with a tiny yard. It’s a very safe neighborhood on a 10mph road with only residential traffic. I’m near the water too, so if your dog likes swimming I’m your girl!
“Anna did a great job with our dog, Vessy. She sent daily updates, and Vessy was clearly well cared for. I would definitely recommend Anna and will for sure ask for her to dog sit again in the future.”

“Marissa took great care of our senior dog for the weekend! She was super communicative even before the stay began, and sent us great pics of our guy to keep us updated. She also checked on our chickens and made sure they were all ok, super helpful since they are in different areas and life stages at the moment. Overall Marissa was responsible, kind, and friendly- a great combination for pet sitting! We would welcome Marissa to care for our pets again in the future!”

“One of my favorite Rover sitters! Communication was great! Fallowed directions. I came back after a long day to happy tired dogs. Falisity walked and played with my dogs. If you are at Shore Hills campground look for her on Rover”

“Catherine house sat our brown lab for 14 days. Our dog has separation anxiety and Catherine made tremendous efforts to comfort our dog and make her feel at ease. It was obvious that Catherine loves animals and our dog connected with her at our first meeting. Catherine kept us informed and asked questions before activities like car rides and walks, both of which our dog loves. We never experienced any issues and look forward to having her house sit for us again in the future.”

East Winthrop pet parents share their Rover experiences
Katia did everything perfectly. Not only did she care for our dog well. She took her on adventures and it is clear our dog has some greater expectations for her walks than she once did. Also before dinner she seems to believe that she should be the center of attention. Which has been wonderful. Choose Katia and your pet will be very happy and won’t miss you at all.
