About: Ever since the family cat had kittens when I was four years old, I have been drawn to the care of animals. Honoring the lives of pets as our friends has been a source of inspiration and therapy for myself personally. As a working artist, taking the time to care for animals has been such a privilege and the perfect change of pace while I continue to work on creative projects. I have a German Shepherd that I keep separated from the work I do with other animals. I am located at a small farmhouse in Augusta that has a huge yard with two a-joining fields. There is more than enough room to explore the surround with your pet. I am also an avid walker so exercise is big for me generally.

About: I’ve worked at 2 doggy daycares in the last few years where we did boarding. I’ve also worked in a cat boarding facility and have worked at pet stores for about 5-6 years. I was trusted with cleaning up after and giving medications to pets that needed it. I’m currently working part time in Freeport so I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your pets and spend time with them and take them on walks depending on weather. I live in a wooded area with access to tie outs so your pets and I could sit outside on good days and play. I have an extra room in the house where I can easily board your pet but would require you to bring a crate if they’re crate trained depending on the size of the pet. I do have two crates available that I could use if you’re unable to bring their crate. I have 2 cats in the household along with my fiance so they would have to be cat and man friendly.

About: I started a career in dog care in 2010. I have extensive experience with all dog breeds in boarding, day care, training, grooming and vet tech. I then began rescuing Pugs and have my 5th one currently. I love all animals and look forward to caring for yours! I have a flexible schedule. Let's see what works for both of us. About: Grew up with animals including lizards, cats, dogs, birds and horses. Volunteered in animal shelters doing all care of cats and dogs! I love all animals. I currently work for an Equestrian Center where I help care for over 30 horses. I have two part time jobs, but I only work in the evenings and am available for the rest of the day! I’ll do my best to work around any schedule I have five cats currently who are the most spoiled animals, they get lick mats, vitamins, and all sorts of other fun enrichment. They are also some of the kindest cat you will ever meet! I would extend this love for my cats to your animal offering homemade or organic treats (if allowed!) I also have a dog and several reptiles who are beyond loved!

About: Dog Trainer in training! I will soon be a certified dog trainer, with an expected completion date of 6/1/26. I love, love, love dogs and know quite a bit about them! I have been an active volunteer at the Kennebec Valley Humane Society for the past 4 years, and I am a current student in the Catch Canine Academy Master's Program. I am trained and experienced in reading dog body language, calming/stress signals, and play behaviors. I will use this skill set to address and adapt to your dog's temperament and needs from day to day. I have been a trusted pet sitter for friends, neighbors, and family for over 10 years. I have had dogs of my own since I was 11 years old and their health and happiness is my greatest joy! I understand how hard it is to leave your beloved babies in someone else's care (I rarely leave mine for that reason), but you can rest easy knowing that your pet's safety will always be my #1 top priority, with lots of love, patience, and fun to follow! I currently work nights 3-10 pm, so I am available for morning and early afternoon walks/potty breaks. Depending on location, I could possibly be available for a late-night drop-in visit on a case-by-case basis with existing (repeat clients). In your home, I will follow every detail of your instructions. I know how important routines are to our pets! When our pets know what to expect they are able to relax and feel safe and secure. About: I am a huge animal lover! My husband and I chose fur babies over human babies and have a golden doodle, senior kitty, and two rescue buns! I have experience working with both senior and special needs pets. In addition to cats and dogs, I am also skilled with bunnies, birds, sheep, goats, and chicken. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions! I am currently working a full time remote job 9-5 Monday-Friday. I have ample weekend availability and can also assist with evening care on weekdays if needed. Please reach out for any scheduling questions! I love taking long walks and will take your dog as far as they need to go. I do also have experience with leash pulling and am happy to accommodate different harnesses that your pet prefers. I will not work with choke/shock collars as I do believe they do much more harm than good. If a drop in visit is needed, I will come to your home and spend as much time with your furry friends as needed! I can also assist with medication management and prescription diets.

About: I've been in contact with dogs as long as I've been walking and talking. My parents always had a pack of 4 running around the house and my brothers and I were frequently helping out with feeding, walking, etc. I used to spend a lot of my weekends with my mom’s poodle, trimming his unruly coat! I also have owned rats, fish and cats, and am comfortable caring for them, as well as birds. Just let me know if you have a smaller critter that needs some care! I have experience with farm animals such as horses and chickens, and am happy to watch goats, cows, you name it!! I work a remote job from home as a Peer Support Specialist, so while dog sitting, I can remain in your home all day to watch over your pets! I clicker train my dog Artemis and have mini training sessions everyday with her. I'm more than happy to include your dog if you let me know what you'd like to work on. I also have experience with reactive dogs, as my late mastiff mix came into my care with an extreme case of stranger reactivity that I managed. So, if your pup is timid or shy, I will for sure still take them on and give them the best experience catering to their specific fears. I know owning a reactive dog can be isolating and stressful. Let me take some of that stress away by being understanding of your pups and their needs! I’m more than happy to arrange meet and greets to discuss fido’s specific needs and let them get used to my presence. Understanding and listening is important in managing reactivity, and I’m more than happy to be that person!
