About: I have always had at least one pet in my household—the more the merrier! I have owned cats since childhood and currently have 4. Though I don’t currently have a dog, I love my friends’ and neighbors dogs as if they were my own and constantly drop by the visit and walk them. I am experienced with kittens and puppies as well as older pets. I currently work from home with very flexible hours, so I can usually come by with short notice! If you’d like me to stick around all day, I can bring my laptop and work from your home so that I can provide constant company for your pet. I have very few meetings during the day so I can provide lots of cuddles, walks, play, and attention all day long. I am well attuned to cat and dog body language and know when to provide space, take things slow to gain trust, and when pets are ready to play. I always make sure to keep dogs on leashes when they are outside, and as an owner of two escape artist cats I know to always make sure the doors are closed behind me! I know that pet owners know their pets best, so I will always listen to your experience and input regarding how to best care for your pet.

About: I have been surrounded by dogs for as long as I can remember. From yorkies, to our alaskan malamute, and many shelter dogs, I have seen it all. I have been working professionally with dogs for around a year now. I worked in a doggy daycare setting for 6 months, and have been working at a shelter ever since! These experiences have given me knowledge in how to better understand body language, social cues, behaviors, and fear free handling. Even before professional experience, I have been one of the primary caretakers to our family dogs, medicating, feeding, training, etc, is no foreign task to me:) I understand how stressful it is to trust a random person to take care of your animals, but I promise to care for your animal with the same patience, attention, and love, I give my own:) I currently have a completely open schedule, so I’m available most days and times! Whether you need early mornings, evenings, weekends, or last minute care, I’m happy to work with your schedule whenever possible. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I’m happy to follow their normal routine as closely as possible. Whether that means long walks around the neighborhood, playtime in the yard, sticking to a feeding schedule, administering basic care, or simply providing companionship and cuddles, I’ll make sure they’re cared for exactly the way you would. I’m familiar with the surrounding areas and love spending time outdoors, so your pup will get plenty of exercise and enrichment. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and stress free experience so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in caring and dependable hands.

About: Hello! I am new to Rover but I have been working with animals all my life from a very young age and I have been pet sitting for about 4 years. There were always pets in the home, mostly dogs and cats all my life and I have thorough experience being around animals and knowing how to take care of them. I took a major part in taking care of the puppies that my family bred most of my childhood, I have experience in working with a variety of animals such as dogs, cats, reptiles, roosters/chickens, horses, guinea pigs, etc. Besides working with my own pets I have been pet sitting for around 4 years now and have become very comfortable working with other peoples pets. I pride myself on my attention to detail and focus on making sure your pet/pets are as comfortable as possible. I am currently a student but most of my classes are online so I am very flexible and available pretty much every day of the week currently. About: Ever since the family cat had kittens when I was four years old, I have been drawn to the care of animals. Honoring the lives of pets as our friends has been a source of inspiration and therapy for myself personally. As a working artist, taking the time to care for animals has been such a privilege and the perfect change of pace while I continue to work on creative projects. I have a German Shepherd that I keep separated from the work I do with other animals. I am located at a small farmhouse in Augusta that has a huge yard with two a-joining fields. There is more than enough room to explore the surround with your pet. I am also an avid walker so exercise is big for me generally.

About: I’ve been around dogs of all sizes and temperaments since I was a small child. I’m a huge animal lover, and I have experience that ranges from puppies to senior dogs. Also experienced in some livestock care! I work part-time, so I have great flexibility in my schedule. I’m also available most weekends so I have plenty of time to play with your fur baby! I’m incredible attentative and responsible (this includes duty pick up!), knowledgeable on walking dogs of various temperaments and levels of reactivity. Also experienced with a variety of “no-pull” harness styles.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, birds, and small animals for three years now. I also have experience with housesitting and babysitting. I work two 12 hour day shifts a week. I am currently working part time two 12 hour days. Dogs go out before I go to work and after. On my days off I am able to spend more time with them. I cannot offer pet sitting in my home at this time. I have three years of house/dog sitting experience as well as cats. I am able to stay at the clients place as needed for pet care.

About: I started a career in dog care in 2010. I have extensive experience with all dog breeds in boarding, day care, training, grooming and vet tech. I then began rescuing Pugs and have my 5th one currently. I love all animals and look forward to caring for yours! I have a flexible schedule. Let's see what works for both of us. I'm available as often as needed and I have reliable transportation available I have a dog park across the street but also plenty of regular walking trails if your pet isn't social. About: I have always had dogs and love walking and playing with them. I always share a special bond with dogs, they are so friendly and comforting. My mom used to have her own doggy day care business and train dogs. I would love to meet new friendly faces and get to know your dogs. I believe that once I get to know your little pup, we will have a lovely time together. I have mostly had collies and shelties and currently I also have a pitbull/boxer mix. If your dog need meds, I have given plenty to other dogs in the past. I am very good at keeping dogs occupied and busy while having a good time too. I believe that if you give me a chance, your dog and I will have great times together going for walks and playing. I’m a teacher so this summer of ‘22 I am looking to have this as my full time job! I think that would be so much fun and the perfect fit for me and my schedule as I am very flexible! I love having toys around that my dogs love to use. I usually put my dogs closed in separate rooms during the day when we are gone. I would make sure all the dogs/pets would be as open or as separated as you’d like. Every dog is unique in their needs.

About: I’ve worked at 2 doggy daycares in the last few years where we did boarding. I’ve also worked in a cat boarding facility and have worked at pet stores for about 5-6 years. I was trusted with cleaning up after and giving medications to pets that needed it. I’m currently working part time in Freeport so I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your pets and spend time with them and take them on walks depending on weather. I live in a wooded area with access to tie outs so your pets and I could sit outside on good days and play. I have an extra room in the house where I can easily board your pet but would require you to bring a crate if they’re crate trained depending on the size of the pet. I do have two crates available that I could use if you’re unable to bring their crate. I have 2 cats in the household along with my fiance so they would have to be cat and man friendly.
