About: I have had dogs and taken care of dogs and cats since childhood. In my more recent years I have dog sat for family members and neighbors. I have enjoyed being able to give peace of mind to them knowing their pets are safe, happy, and cared for. Owning a dog and cat myself I understand the stress and fear of having to leave your pets. Whether it’s work, vacation and other life events it can feel like you’re leaving a piece of your heart behind while you’re away. I strive to bridge that gap and be able to provide peace of mind. My dog is a rescue and came to me with some behavioral challenges: fear, reactivity, resource guarding and separation anxiety. Since being with me he is a thriving boy with manners and is learning new skills and tricks every week! That being said I don’t scare easily and have experience managing a variety of behaviors. I know from experience leaving a pet that has some big feelings at times can be even more challenging and thats where I come in. To offer you peace of mind knowing your dog or cat will be safe and cared for with me. I firmly believe in the saying no bad dogs and would love to get the opportunity to take one worry off your plate while you are away! I have summers off and am able to be around as much or as little as needed for your pet in the summers as that is a busy time for vacations. I do structured schedules with play, train walk and rest times with pets. I can also create scheduled enrichment times throughout our time together. I try to cater what we are doing based on needs of the dog so they are fulfilled.

About: Ever since the family cat had kittens when I was four years old, I have been drawn to the care of animals. Honoring the lives of pets as our friends has been a source of inspiration and therapy for myself personally. As a working artist, taking the time to care for animals has been such a privilege and the perfect change of pace while I continue to work on creative projects. I have a German Shepherd that I keep separated from the work I do with other animals. I am located at a small farmhouse in Augusta that has a huge yard with two a-joining fields. There is more than enough room to explore the surround with your pet. I am also an avid walker so exercise is big for me generally.

About: I have a history of pet grooming but I currently do not groom. I’ve worked in kennels, dog salons, and around dogs in general for many years. I treat all animals as if they were my own Right now I have a full time job so I can walk dogs after work and on the weekends ! I can also come to your home to dog sit / drop in/ etc. I like to stick to a dogs schedule as it stands already, plays anything else the client would like me to do. I am fine with having playtime, outside time, rest periods, walkies, etc.

About: I have worked with all kinds of animals in professional and non professional settings for years and have found that it is my passion. I am excited to work with your furry friends! I am an online college student so I have an abundance of flexibility and availability to work with animals during the work week and possible weekends. I am reliable and a fast learner and a great communicator! I will care for your pet however you need and keep you updated when you would like!

About: Hello! I am new to Rover but I have been working with animals all my life from a very young age and I have been pet sitting for about 4 years. There were always pets in the home, mostly dogs and cats all my life and I have thorough experience being around animals and knowing how to take care of them. I took a major part in taking care of the puppies that my family bred most of my childhood, I have experience in working with a variety of animals such as dogs, cats, reptiles, roosters/chickens, horses, guinea pigs, etc. Besides working with my own pets I have been pet sitting for around 4 years now and have become very comfortable working with other peoples pets. I pride myself on my attention to detail and focus on making sure your pet/pets are as comfortable as possible. I am currently a student but most of my classes are online so I am very flexible and available pretty much every day of the week currently. About: I’ve had pet dogs and cats since I was 5 years old. I’ve always loved taking care of them, and being someone that they can rely on. Caring for animals is a big part of my life and something I hope to be forever passionate about! I am working full-time for the summer. I am a college student who will be going back to part time in the fall to finish my last year. I’m mostly free in the evenings and on odd days during the week since I work a rotating schedule. The fall will look different as I’ll be working part-time while also going to school! I’ve been handling large dogs since I was a young teenager, so I’m very comfortable with all types of breeds. About: I’ve worked at 2 doggy daycares in the last few years where we did boarding. I’ve also worked in a cat boarding facility and have worked at pet stores for about 5-6 years. I was trusted with cleaning up after and giving medications to pets that needed it. I’m currently working part time in Freeport so I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your pets and spend time with them and take them on walks depending on weather. I live in a wooded area with access to tie outs so your pets and I could sit outside on good days and play. I have an extra room in the house where I can easily board your pet but would require you to bring a crate if they’re crate trained depending on the size of the pet. I do have two crates available that I could use if you’re unable to bring their crate. I have 2 cats in the household along with my fiance so they would have to be cat and man friendly.

About: I grew up on a large farm with show dogs! I have had dogs, cats and all farm animals my entire life and their happiness, care is always top of my priority! I work from home full time, so there will never be a period your fur baby will be left alone unless I need to run a quick errand. I have two dogs ( a shih tzu (7) and a mini schnauzer (6 months), we have two well behaved cats and 6 chickens that are enclosed in an outside area. We use a bell system on the doors for our dogs to tell us when they need to go outside and positive reinforcement at all times.

About: Dog Trainer in training! I will soon be a certified dog trainer, with an expected completion date of 6/1/26. I love, love, love dogs and know quite a bit about them! I have been an active volunteer at the Kennebec Valley Humane Society for the past 4 years, and I am a current student in the Catch Canine Academy Master's Program. I am trained and experienced in reading dog body language, calming/stress signals, and play behaviors. I will use this skill set to address and adapt to your dog's temperament and needs from day to day. I have been a trusted pet sitter for friends, neighbors, and family for over 10 years. I have had dogs of my own since I was 11 years old and their health and happiness is my greatest joy! I understand how hard it is to leave your beloved babies in someone else's care (I rarely leave mine for that reason), but you can rest easy knowing that your pet's safety will always be my #1 top priority, with lots of love, patience, and fun to follow! I currently work nights 3-10 pm, so I am available for morning and early afternoon walks/potty breaks. Depending on location, I could possibly be available for a late-night drop-in visit on a case-by-case basis with existing (repeat clients). In your home, I will follow every detail of your instructions. I know how important routines are to our pets! When our pets know what to expect they are able to relax and feel safe and secure. In my home, I have a fenced in yard and two friendly pups to play with!
