About: I have always had at least one pet in my household—the more the merrier! I have owned cats since childhood and currently have 4. Though I don’t currently have a dog, I love my friends’ and neighbors dogs as if they were my own and constantly drop by the visit and walk them. I am experienced with kittens and puppies as well as older pets. I currently work from home with very flexible hours, so I can usually come by with short notice! If you’d like me to stick around all day, I can bring my laptop and work from your home so that I can provide constant company for your pet. I have very few meetings during the day so I can provide lots of cuddles, walks, play, and attention all day long. I am well attuned to cat and dog body language and know when to provide space, take things slow to gain trust, and when pets are ready to play. I always make sure to keep dogs on leashes when they are outside, and as an owner of two escape artist cats I know to always make sure the doors are closed behind me! I know that pet owners know their pets best, so I will always listen to your experience and input regarding how to best care for your pet.

About: I have been a vet tech for 22 years and am looking for something I can do to be with my family more. I am great with cats and dogs of all ages, sizes and personalities. I have owned cats, dogs, hamsters, rats and rabbits. My schedule would be based on the individual needing pet care. Communication is very important to me and a successful pet sitting experience. I do have children that my schedule would be based around. I am well educated on animal handling and care. Working as a vet tech has given me ample experience in all situations regarding health, behavior and affection.

About: Ever since the family cat had kittens when I was four years old, I have been drawn to the care of animals. Honoring the lives of pets as our friends has been a source of inspiration and therapy for myself personally. As a working artist, taking the time to care for animals has been such a privilege and the perfect change of pace while I continue to work on creative projects. I have a German Shepherd that I keep separated from the work I do with other animals. I am located at a small farmhouse in Augusta that has a huge yard with two a-joining fields. There is more than enough room to explore the surround with your pet. I am also an avid walker so exercise is big for me generally.

About: I’ve been around dogs of all sizes and temperaments since I was a small child. I’m a huge animal lover, and I have experience that ranges from puppies to senior dogs. Also experienced in some livestock care! I work part-time, so I have great flexibility in my schedule. I’m also available most weekends so I have plenty of time to play with your fur baby! I’m incredible attentative and responsible (this includes duty pick up!), knowledgeable on walking dogs of various temperaments and levels of reactivity. Also experienced with a variety of “no-pull” harness styles.

About: I have always had dogs and love walking and playing with them. I always share a special bond with dogs, they are so friendly and comforting. My mom used to have her own doggy day care business and train dogs. I would love to meet new friendly faces and get to know your dogs. I believe that once I get to know your little pup, we will have a lovely time together. I have mostly had collies and shelties and currently I also have a pitbull/boxer mix. If your dog need meds, I have given plenty to other dogs in the past. I am very good at keeping dogs occupied and busy while having a good time too. I believe that if you give me a chance, your dog and I will have great times together going for walks and playing. I’m a teacher so this summer of ‘22 I am looking to have this as my full time job! I think that would be so much fun and the perfect fit for me and my schedule as I am very flexible! I love having toys around that my dogs love to use. I usually put my dogs closed in separate rooms during the day when we are gone. I would make sure all the dogs/pets would be as open or as separated as you’d like. Every dog is unique in their needs.

About: Dog Trainer in training! I will soon be a certified dog trainer, with an expected completion date of 6/1/26. I love, love, love dogs and know quite a bit about them! I have been an active volunteer at the Kennebec Valley Humane Society for the past 4 years, and I am a current student in the Catch Canine Academy Master's Program. I am trained and experienced in reading dog body language, calming/stress signals, and play behaviors. I will use this skill set to address and adapt to your dog's temperament and needs from day to day. I have been a trusted pet sitter for friends, neighbors, and family for over 10 years. I have had dogs of my own since I was 11 years old and their health and happiness is my greatest joy! I understand how hard it is to leave your beloved babies in someone else's care (I rarely leave mine for that reason), but you can rest easy knowing that your pet's safety will always be my #1 top priority, with lots of love, patience, and fun to follow! I currently work nights 3-10 pm, so I am available for morning and early afternoon walks/potty breaks. Depending on location, I could possibly be available for a late-night drop-in visit on a case-by-case basis with existing (repeat clients). In your home, I will follow every detail of your instructions. I know how important routines are to our pets! When our pets know what to expect they are able to relax and feel safe and secure. About: I’ve had pet dogs and cats since I was 5 years old. I’ve always loved taking care of them, and being someone that they can rely on. Caring for animals is a big part of my life and something I hope to be forever passionate about! I am working full-time for the summer. I am a college student who will be going back to part time in the fall to finish my last year. I’m mostly free in the evenings and on odd days during the week since I work a rotating schedule. The fall will look different as I’ll be working part-time while also going to school! I’ve been handling large dogs since I was a young teenager, so I’m very comfortable with all types of breeds. I’d consider myself very gentle when it comes to animal care.

About: I started a career in dog care in 2010. I have extensive experience with all dog breeds in boarding, day care, training, grooming and vet tech. I then began rescuing Pugs and have my 5th one currently. I love all animals and look forward to caring for yours! I have a flexible schedule. Let's see what works for both of us. I'm available as often as needed and I have reliable transportation available I have a dog park across the street but also plenty of regular walking trails if your pet isn't social. About: I’ve worked at 2 doggy daycares in the last few years where we did boarding. I’ve also worked in a cat boarding facility and have worked at pet stores for about 5-6 years. I was trusted with cleaning up after and giving medications to pets that needed it. I’m currently working part time in Freeport so I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your pets and spend time with them and take them on walks depending on weather. I live in a wooded area with access to tie outs so your pets and I could sit outside on good days and play. I have an extra room in the house where I can easily board your pet but would require you to bring a crate if they’re crate trained depending on the size of the pet. I do have two crates available that I could use if you’re unable to bring their crate. I have 2 cats in the household along with my fiance so they would have to be cat and man friendly.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, birds, and small animals for three years now. I also have experience with housesitting and babysitting. I work two 12 hour day shifts a week. I am currently working part time two 12 hour days. Dogs go out before I go to work and after. On my days off I am able to spend more time with them. I cannot offer pet sitting in my home at this time. I have three years of house/dog sitting experience as well as cats. I am able to stay at the clients place as needed for pet care.
