Pet Sitting in Belgrade

About: I’ve had pet dogs and cats since I was 5 years old. I’ve always loved taking care of them, and being someone that they can rely on. Caring for animals is a big part of my life and something I hope to be forever passionate about! I am working full-time for the summer. I am a college student who will be going back to part time in the fall to finish my last year. I’m mostly free in the evenings and on odd days during the week since I work a rotating schedule. The fall will look different as I’ll be working part-time while also going to school! I’ve been handling large dogs since I was a young teenager, so I’m very comfortable with all types of breeds. I’d consider myself very gentle when it comes to animal care.

About: Ever since the family cat had kittens when I was four years old, I have been drawn to the care of animals. Honoring the lives of pets as our friends has been a source of inspiration and therapy for myself personally. As a working artist, taking the time to care for animals has been such a privilege and the perfect change of pace while I continue to work on creative projects. I have a German Shepherd that I keep separated from the work I do with other animals. I am located at a small farmhouse in Augusta that has a huge yard with two a-joining fields. There is more than enough room to explore the surround with your pet. I am also an avid walker so exercise is big for me generally.

About: I'm a genuine dog lover! I've always trained my dogs on basic tricks and commands.I'm aware that dogs have their own personalities, fears, and strengths. I work part-time. I have a flexible schedule. I'm open to having dogs in my house throughout the week and some weekends, if needed, and also just walks. I don't have a fenced yard. However, I will be with them out in my yard to assure a safe environment. I'll take them hiking or for walks around my area. They are welcome inside my house to sleep and rest.

About: I've always loved animals, particularly dogs. Animals respond well to me, and I have cared for many over the years. I treat every animal as if they are my own! Ever met that person who just randomly pulls over on the street to say hi to your pup? THAT'S ME! I work full time in the healthcare field, but can often modify my schedule. I routinely travel between Oakland and Gardiner ME for work, so traveling is not an issue. I like to be on the go! I also work part time with Animal Control in Sidney. Due to my other commitments, I do require that all of my furry clients be able to be left alone for at least 8 hours. Exceptions can be made for clients in my immediate vicinity, or if my schedule allows. Your wish is my command! Whatever you need simply ask! Whatever I can do to ease your mind and comfort your pet in your absence, i will do!

One of cats is super shy but Jamie was determined to be friends with him. And they did become friends! I received regular updates when she arrived and left our house. She sent us daily pictures. About: I started a career in dog care in 2010. I have extensive experience with all dog breeds in boarding, day care, training, grooming and vet tech. I then began rescuing Pugs and have my 5th one currently. I love all animals and look forward to caring for yours! I have a flexible schedule. Let's see what works for both of us. I'm available as often as needed and I have reliable transportation available I have a dog park across the street but also plenty of regular walking trails if your pet isn't social. About: I have always had at least one pet in my household—the more the merrier! I have owned cats since childhood and currently have 4. Though I don’t currently have a dog, I love my friends’ and neighbors dogs as if they were my own and constantly drop by the visit and walk them. I am experienced with kittens and puppies as well as older pets. I currently work from home with very flexible hours, so I can usually come by with short notice! If you’d like me to stick around all day, I can bring my laptop and work from your home so that I can provide constant company for your pet. I have very few meetings during the day so I can provide lots of cuddles, walks, play, and attention all day long. I am well attuned to cat and dog body language and know when to provide space, take things slow to gain trust, and when pets are ready to play. I always make sure to keep dogs on leashes when they are outside, and as an owner of two escape artist cats I know to always make sure the doors are closed behind me! I know that pet owners know their pets best, so I will always listen to your experience and input regarding how to best care for your pet.

About: I’ve worked at 2 doggy daycares in the last few years where we did boarding. I’ve also worked in a cat boarding facility and have worked at pet stores for about 5-6 years. I was trusted with cleaning up after and giving medications to pets that needed it. I’m currently working part time in Freeport so I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your pets and spend time with them and take them on walks depending on weather. I live in a wooded area with access to tie outs so your pets and I could sit outside on good days and play. I have an extra room in the house where I can easily board your pet but would require you to bring a crate if they’re crate trained depending on the size of the pet. I do have two crates available that I could use if you’re unable to bring their crate. I have 2 cats in the household along with my fiance so they would have to be cat and man friendly.

About: Since I was 5 years old, I have been taking care of animals. My first job was as the neighborhood dog walker. Since then, I have walked and sat countless animals. You will be at ease leaving your pet with me. I currently live with two large boxers, so pet care is part of my daily routine - from walks to feeding and play dates. I am available regularly for walks and pet sitting. Each animal has a unique set of wants and needs / my 9 year old boxer has lymphoma and needs more frequent pee and water breaks. I am equipped with handling the specifics of each and every pet, and will ensure that your animal is taken care of.

About: As a lifelong dog owner, I know the importance of feeling confidence in your pet’s care while you are away – for the day or for weeks. I grew up with German Shepards, Labrador Retrievers, Weimaraners, and of course your traditional mutts. I’m comfortable with medium and large breeds with varying degrees of energy and structure needs. In adulthood I’ve dedicated myself to seniors and pups with special needs. My current pack is all neutered males - Riley (12), Vinnie (17), Gilroy (4, Cerebellar Aplasia), and Louie (4, Blind). Everyone in the pack is dog friendly and more importantly I know them well and how to navigate introducing new members. Pack management is a critical and advantageous skill I live in a single family detached home with a large fenced in yard. The dogs are allowed on the furniture. I have extra crates, cots, dog beds, and toys. With a traditional cape style, I can also keep pack members separate if needed, especially at mealtime to keep everyone safe. My home and I have been approved by three different reputable rescues in the last 3 years. I have established relationships with not only my local vet, Dirigo, but also specialists at Maine Veterinary Medical Center. I have experience with high needs behavioral and physical pups. Though I do not think taking in an aggressive dog into the pack for sitting is a good idea, I am comfortable and understand dogs with anxiety that might need some extra time or care. I have experience with dogs paralyzed in the back end, cerebellar hypoplasia (wobbly), cerebellar aplasia (no balance), hydrocephalus, blindness, senior needs, puppy needs and training. In the last year my pack has included three more pups (may two rest in peace, and one continue to live his best life with his forever mom) and so I open my home to boarding knowing that my current boys are already okay with new members. If you have any questions please reach out! I work from home five days a week. I work from home full-time and can navigate my schedule most days by the needs of the pack. Without a doubt they can go outside whenever they need. At most during the week I could leave the house from 1-3 hours. I will sometimes need to leave the house for 2-6 hours at a time especially on weekends, but can arrange any accommodation that makes your pup comfortable – free, crate, room etc. All dogs are allowed on the couch and my bed, though not all will sleep on the bed at night. I make sure to have a dog bed available for each pup in the house and have crate options too if individual space makes your pup feel more comfortable. The house is set up so that all living is on the first floor, so there are only two stairs into the home and two stairs off of the deck. During the warmer months I have a dog door for free access to the fenced in yard. However, in the winter months I maintain taking the dogs out at regular intervals. All dogs will be fed safely alone so no issues are allowed to develop. All stairs inside are blocked off either by baby gate or doors (for my blind boy). Pack management is key to safety and with lots of experience I know I can navigate it well.
