About: I've taken care of animals since I was 10. I care for all animals even the fur babies that have anxiety away from home. They will be loved and you will have tons of photos I can pet sit during the early mornings or late at nights. Staying at the animals comfort home so they won't have too much anxiety while you're away. I can care for any animals at the comfort of your animals home. Animals prefer their home more than someone else's. Lesser anxiety for them.

About: I have hands-on veterinary medicine experience, including working in an overnight animal emergency hospital, so I'm comfortable caring for pets with medical needs and recognizing when something may require veterinary attention. I'm experienced with medications, senior pets, anxious pets, and animals who need extra patience and individualized care. I also understand how important it is to maintain each pet's normal routine while their family is away. Caring for animals is a big part of my everyday life, so I’m very comfortable building my schedule around their needs. About: Highlight: I am experienced with aggressive and reactive animals! I have had animals in my home and life as long as I can remember. I have cared for countless dogs, cats, and small animals. At one point in my life I had seven dogs and a number of other pets. I have been providing independent pet care since late 2015. Animal care and rescue is my greatest passion. I am skilled at handling dogs and other animals of all ages, sizes, and temperments. I have worked with aggressive and reactive dogs and have experience deescalating conflicts when they arise. I am more than happy to care for any kind of animals- not just dogs and cats. My own current pets are two dogs and four cats. I also have experience caring for small animals, various poultry and livestock, and horses. When I was 15 years old I started occasionally farm/house sitting for a family with dogs, horses, and a cat, and caring for all of the animals there during my stay. With them I have worked daytime hours as well as overnight stays for a few days at a time so they could take trips out of state. In my adult life I have branched out, first with Rover a few years ago, and then with expanding farther into launching my private pet care business at the beginning of 2024 while still maintaining my presence on Rover. This means I have lots of availability to care for your pets, but for house-sitting in particular it is best to reach out significantly in advance to ensure I can fit you in! Sunday bookings are restricted to things that *must* occur on that day in order for me to try to have some level of work life balance. I take utmost care to keep animals in my care safe and properly contained. I make sure to follow whatever rules and structures are in place for the animals to ensure their safety. Pets are always leashed inside before heading for a walk and the leash isn't unclipped until we are back inside with a closed door. I am vigilant in looking out for potential risks (e.g. other animals, cars, unsafe things they could eat, etc) and making sure to give them a wide berth. In my own home I have any small animals carefully segregated into rooms that predator animals don't go into. Anytime I leave the room, I do a check and verify that all predators are outside the door so nobody can get hurt. I monitor the dogs around the cats to make sure all interactions are safe. I have utlized crates and baby gates when necessary to keep animals safely contained and/or separated in the past. I am skilled at containing flight risk animals and watching out for their safety. I am also fully insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates (PSA).

About: I always tune into the unique personality of each animal and I don't rest until I'm sure the animal knows its safe, loved and cared for. Since I was born I have loved animals so genuinely and patiently that I've never encountered a problem, even with the hard to figure out ones. I love them all and my husband does as well. Therefore we treat our pets like they're one of us, with plentiful attention. We are complete home-bodies. We like spending time outdoors, and going for walks. Our home is very inviting as well, with a fenced yard, multiple spare rooms, close to many trails near by and lots of spare blankets and pillows.
