About: I have worked at a Veterinary Hospital for about 5 years, working to keep their experience as comfortable as possible, along with growing up with cats, dogs, and farm animals.I do work another job so for house/dog sitting I would be getting to the location usually between 6:30-7ish depending on location, so keep this in mind when considering booking me While I work full time my schedule is set so there will not be likely to have unexpected changes giving your animals a good structure to work with I can come to your location to let your dogs out/take them for a walk, as well as feed them and get in playtime while keeping them in a space they feel comfortable.

She followed their routines closely and adhered to their feeding schedules, medications, and complex care needs. She was professional, punctual, and dependable, which allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our trip knowing our dogs were in good hands. One of our dogs is a paralyzed French Bulldog who requires specialized care, including regular bladder expressions and assistance with getting in and out of her wheelchair on a strict schedule. Candi handled these responsibilities with care and consistency, giving us confidence that our dog’s unique needs were being met. About: Highlight: I am experienced with aggressive and reactive animals! I have had animals in my home and life as long as I can remember. I have cared for countless dogs, cats, and small animals. At one point in my life I had seven dogs and a number of other pets. I have been providing independent pet care since late 2015. Animal care and rescue is my greatest passion. I am skilled at handling dogs and other animals of all ages, sizes, and temperments. I have worked with aggressive and reactive dogs and have experience deescalating conflicts when they arise. I also have experience caring for small animals, various poultry and livestock, and horses. When I was 15 years old I started occasionally farm/house sitting for a family with dogs, horses, and a cat, and caring for all of the animals there during my stay. With them I have worked daytime hours as well as overnight stays for a few days at a time so they could take trips out of state. In my own home I have any small animals carefully segregated into rooms that predator animals don't go into. Anytime I leave the room, I do a check and verify that all predators are outside the door so nobody can get hurt. I monitor the dogs around the cats to make sure all interactions are safe. I have utlized crates and baby gates when necessary to keep animals safely contained and/or separated in the past. I am skilled at containing flight risk animals and watching out for their safety. I am also fully insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates (PSA).
