Carla came a few weeks before her scheduled time to stay with our golden doodle and we felt immediately at ease with her. She was easy to reach and communicative throughout the whole process. When the time came for her to watch our pup, she arrived in ample time so that we did not feel stressed about leaving on time. She immediately began playing with our dog. Throughout the stay she sent pics and we felt very at ease. Our pup was happy and had a lot of play time. Upon return, the house was clean, bed was stripped and everything was in order. If we were to return to the area, we would absolutely book Carla again in a heartbeat!”

About: Hello! I am new to Rover but I have been working with animals all my life from a very young age and I have been pet sitting for about 4 years. There were always pets in the home, mostly dogs and cats all my life and I have thorough experience being around animals and knowing how to take care of them. I took a major part in taking care of the puppies that my family bred most of my childhood, I have experience in working with a variety of animals such as dogs, cats, reptiles, roosters/chickens, horses, guinea pigs, etc. Besides working with my own pets I have been pet sitting for around 4 years now and have become very comfortable working with other peoples pets. About: I have had pets in my household since being a young boy. I have raised and taken care of cats, dogs, geese, chickens, cattle and pigs.I currently have 3 cats and 4 goats I am raising. I love our animals and dedicate many hours each day socializing and taking care of them. I currently have most weekends available and I home most evenings during the week. I know my schedule several days and weeks ahead of time. My cats have the ability to go outside everyday. I ensure our cats are safely inside every night. My goats have a barn and pasture to live in. They have complete shelter from the elements if needed.

About: I have had dogs and taken care of dogs and cats since childhood. In my more recent years I have dog sat for family members and neighbors. I have enjoyed being able to give peace of mind to them knowing their pets are safe, happy, and cared for. Owning a dog and cat myself I understand the stress and fear of having to leave your pets. Whether it’s work, vacation and other life events it can feel like you’re leaving a piece of your heart behind while you’re away. I strive to bridge that gap and be able to provide peace of mind. My dog is a rescue and came to me with some behavioral challenges: fear, reactivity, resource guarding and separation anxiety. Since being with me he is a thriving boy with manners and is learning new skills and tricks every week! That being said I don’t scare easily and have experience managing a variety of behaviors. I know from experience leaving a pet that has some big feelings at times can be even more challenging and thats where I come in. To offer you peace of mind knowing your dog or cat will be safe and cared for with me. I firmly believe in the saying no bad dogs and would love to get the opportunity to take one worry off your plate while you are away! I have summers off and am able to be around as much or as little as needed for your pet in the summers as that is a busy time for vacations. I do structured schedules with play, train walk and rest times with pets. I can also create scheduled enrichment times throughout our time together. I try to cater what we are doing based on needs of the dog so they are fulfilled.

About: I grew up taking care of multiple cats and dogs, and would take care of my neighbors' pets while they were away. While I spend less time at home now, I still always take care of my two very lively dogs when I return! This summer, I am working part-time, virtually, and asynchronously, so I am available all days of the week, around the clock! Pet care fits well into both my daily and weekly routine. I care for pets the way I have always cared for my pets: I give them lots of love, time, and energy, staying attentive to what they want to do. Having lived with pets my whole life, I am equally capable of working with puppies or kittens as I am with older dogs and cats.

About: I’ve never not had a pet in my house hold, owning cats, dogs, and even lizards and hamsters over the years. Growing up I also pet sat for birds, snakes, dogs, cats, and fish as well as worked on a horse farm for two summers. My own personal dog is a senior lad at the age of 14 years and have a kitten at home. Ive worked with puppies, adult dogs, and senior pups, kitten and full grown cats. I love to spend time playing and petting them (if thats what they want) and will do my best to love them a fraction of what you do to keep them happy while you’re away! I work in Portland until 4pm every week day and get back to the area around 5. I would be free to care for your pets from around 5:30pm-6:20am. I can feed, walk, brush, pet, and/or play with any of the animals you may have tailoring to whatever best suits their needs, I am an animal lover and want to best support the critters in any way I can in your absence.

About: I have experience with animals from Great Danes to Fancy rats. I have training experience as well with things such as potty training, walking etiquette, and a few show tricks. I have college classes in the afternoons but my mornings and nights are wide open on weekdays. As for weekends its just dependent on the day so I'll need advanced notice. I have a small yard, and within a quarter mile from the nearest park. I can give potty breaks ever hour if need be, and I'm great at matching an animals energy level.
