About: Since becoming fully remote for my full time job in 2020, I have taken on the roll of “trusted pet-sitter” for over 30 families and almost 50 furry friends. About: I have experience with animals from Great Danes to Fancy rats. I have training experience as well with things such as potty training, walking etiquette, and a few show tricks. I have college classes in the afternoons but my mornings and nights are wide open on weekdays. As for weekends its just dependent on the day so I'll need advanced notice. I have a small yard, and within a quarter mile from the nearest park. I can give potty breaks ever hour if need be, and I'm great at matching an animals energy level.

About: I have had a variety of pets my entire life. Friends, neighbors and family have trusted me to take excellent care of their pets. I have gone to their home, they have come to my home and I have visited just to walk them. I love all animals and have learned over the years how to recognize their individual needs. About: I have taken care of and interacted with many breeds and mixes of dogs, both my own and friends. About: Used to be a manager for a mobile veterinary wellness clinic, have owned animals almost my whole life and currently have a giant bundle of fur chocolate lab at home. Intact 3 year old male. About: From the time I was young, I’ve always had my own animals to include cats, dogs, hamsters, mice, and into my adult life. I continue to have dogs and ferrets as well as cats. My parents have always had dogs as well and have had a few litters of puppies that I have assisted with, and my dog has had her own litter of puppies so I’m very familiar with young dogs and training and patience. I’ve never worked in a vet clinic, but I have many years of clinical experience with humans so I do have that background. I work from home Monday through Friday and my home office is in our finished basement so the dogs have their own space in the basement with food, water, toys, beds, puppy pads as well as full access to my office to come and go as they please and they just spend the day with me while I’m working. We live on the lake so we don’t have a large yard but it’s also a private road so there’s no traffic and I have an outdoor pen for the dogs but when I’m not working, I also am outside with them so they are always being watched and tended to. I will take them swimming in the lake or out on the canoe if that is something that is OK with pet parents and we do go for walks in the mornings before I start my workday and at lunchtime if the weather permits.

About: Currently I am between caregiving clients trying to decide what my next move is. I was born into an animal loving family, extended family, etc. I am 59 years old and have never been without at least a cat or two. I've also had 2 of my own dogs since 2005. My last senior dog passed the rainbow bridge in 2024. Born in Connecticut, lived for 45 years in Maryland and now I am living in Maine where I love it! One reason I fell in love with Maine is you can bring your dog almost anywhere here. They are a pet loving no-kill state! I have administered just about every kind of pet med out there. Every single pet has their own personality and I am very patient to learn that personality so we will become friends. I have a pretty open schedule with no real deadlines, so when ever your pets need walks, feeding, medications or just spend time with them, I am there. My own pets get feed twice a day. The time varies depending on my pet sitting schedule. But usually Its about 10am and 7pm. Whatever instructions left for me for a pet sit, I will follow to the letter. I will ask questions or text later to make sure I understand everything your pet needs. I've never run into an animal not liking me, but I am very aware of them not be comfortable with me at first. That can be stressful for them of course, so its very important that their care instructions are followed to keep them as anxiety free as possible.

About: I love all dogs but am especially fond of the giant breeds.🔅WILLING TO TRAVEL OUTSIDE OF RADIUS SHOWN🔅 I am mid 30s and I've always connected with dogs. I recently lost my dog after 13 years of spoiling her. She was our perfect dog, a bullmastiff boxer and a princess, so I know all about finicky dogs. I trained her as a puppy and we always got complimented on how well behaved she was. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pup and worry about them, I used to leave long lists of instructions for our girl and love it when I got text updates of her, so I will do the same for you. When we spoil them it speaks to the depth of our love for them, and that's something special to not entrust with just anyone. So if you have a "diva" or a "prince" I'm your gal. 😁 I miss being around a dog but I am not able to commit to my own right now, so I'd love to give your dog lots of cuddles and spoil them for you while you are away. I do not offer care in my own home or care for dogs dealing with incontinence because things are too fresh still. I do not offer care for dogs with aggression issues either. I feel it's important to make sure both the dog and I are comfortable, and therefore require a meet and greet to make sure it's a good fit. I work from home so I will be able to care for them and cuddle lots throughout the day. I will need to leave briefly in the evenings, but for the most part will be there with them. If your dog is trained to be off leash, I am comfortable with that as long as we do a meet and greet and you show me their responsiveness when called back. I am also fine with taking them out on a leash or letting them into a fenced yard, whatever is their norm. If hired for dog walking I'd prefer to do a meet and greet and go on a walk with you and the dog so you can show me their route and preferences to ensure we are both comfortable
About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was a little kid and helped my parents at my uncle’s farm. I truly love all animals and enjoy their individual personalities. I have experience dog/house sitting dating back to 2000 in the Camden area. Since we moved three years ago, I’m looking to meet new clients and help you with your furry loved one in the Waterville area. I worked in animal hospitals in my early 20s so I have a great wealth of knowledge to draw from in many areas (but not exotic pets, as none of the veterinarians I worked with were specialtists.) Currently, I'm available for sitting, dog walking, and drop in visits. I am not working outside of my home right now, so I'm quite flexible for scheduling. Any pet I take care of is treated as if they’re a member of the family. I believe in spoiling pets with love, but keeping the boundaries of the owner so as not to undo any training. About: I am a former Special Education Teacher primarily booking house/pet sitting clients. I work minimal hours remotely and enjoy the novelty and companionship that Rover clients offer my lifestyle. This means I have a lot of time and attention to devote to your pet when you cannnot. I live on a lovely property in the country with a large yard and access to miles of wooded trails for long walks. I’m primarily interested in house/pet sitting clients and am open to boarding or pet sitting for a repeat clients I am familiar with. I have experience with large breed and high energy breeds over the years. I do not qualify myself a “trainer”, however, I completed Therapy Dog Selection and Training through the University of Maine and have studied animal behavior for my professional work. As a family we spend lots of time outside playing and enjoying what our 40 acre home has to offer. We go on two walks a day- weather permiting. Inside pets are family members who live in the house WITH us. Couch time is always available with additional beds on all different rooms if the pup prefers their own space. We have all verious types of toys including puzzle games, snuffle mats and for the heavu chewers, kongs, antlers, and bully sticks. We live away from the hectic lifestyle that most have and love it that way. I do occasionally take on a couple of families pets at the same time but do keep the pets seperated for safety purposes. If you feel youre dogs would be happier being the only visitors, let me know and we can almost always figure something out. I have a large area for dogs to run and play by themselves if they prefer or can spend time with our two friendly dogs who love to play even more.I offer crates if needed. But typically allow them run of the house and let them sleep where they are comfortable. Pets are more than welcome make themselves comfortable on the furniture or bed. Medications or speciality diets are no issue. Im always willing to discuss accommodations. Message me and we will see what will work to best make your pets the most comfortable.

About: I have taken care of and interacted with many breeds and mixes of dogs, both my own and friends. Have taken care of multiple of cats and even interacted and helped care for several family ferrets. I currently work 3 overnights at a local hospital and am looking to spend some of my free time helping and interacting with local pets and pet parents in need of services, during the afternoons or nights on thur, fri, sat and Sundays. I work most Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursday therefor am not available on those days. I love and enjoy working with animals when I can outside of my healthcare career working with people. I have college classes in the afternoons but my mornings and nights are wide open on weekdays. As for weekends its just dependent on the day so I'll need advanced notice. I have a small yard, and within a quarter mile from the nearest park. I can give potty breaks ever hour if need be, and I'm great at matching an animals energy level.

About: I'm a work at home pet mom with a large yard, lots of toys, and a calm and welcoming house. I've always had large dogs from mixed breeds to Great Danes, but love and appreciate all types of well mannered dogs. My house sits well off the road, so its quiet and I hike or trail walk almost daily. I am adept at giving medicine, cleaning wounds and dealing with incontinent dogs, but I will only board dogs who are respectful of my cats. I am currently working from home on my own schedule. Boarded dogs who enjoy car rides can come with me on errands or outings. While each day may different, my activities will be built around the needs of the animals I am caretaking, especially if separation anxiety is an issue. I will care for your animals as per your instructions and the capabilities of your pet. I do not have a fenced in yard, but have installed a run line in the past. If a dog is used to being crated, receiving treats, or sleeping on the couch - no problem. Conversely, I don't give animals people food, and if you want your pets to stay off furniture I will strictly honor that as well. My house is small but open, so it is easy to keep an eye on them.
