About: As a lifelong dog owner, I know the importance of feeling confidence in your pet’s care while you are away – for the day or for weeks. I grew up with German Shepards, Labrador Retrievers, Weimaraners, and of course your traditional mutts. I’m comfortable with medium and large breeds with varying degrees of energy and structure needs. In adulthood I’ve dedicated myself to seniors and pups with special needs. My current pack is all neutered males - Riley (12), Vinnie (17), Gilroy (4, Cerebellar Aplasia), and Louie (4, Blind). Everyone in the pack is dog friendly and more importantly I know them well and how to navigate introducing new members. Pack management is a critical and advantageous skill I live in a single family detached home with a large fenced in yard. The dogs are allowed on the furniture. I have extra crates, cots, dog beds, and toys. With a traditional cape style, I can also keep pack members separate if needed, especially at mealtime to keep everyone safe. My home and I have been approved by three different reputable rescues in the last 3 years. I have established relationships with not only my local vet, Dirigo, but also specialists at Maine Veterinary Medical Center. I have experience with high needs behavioral and physical pups. Though I do not think taking in an aggressive dog into the pack for sitting is a good idea, I am comfortable and understand dogs with anxiety that might need some extra time or care. I have experience with dogs paralyzed in the back end, cerebellar hypoplasia (wobbly), cerebellar aplasia (no balance), hydrocephalus, blindness, senior needs, puppy needs and training. In the last year my pack has included three more pups (may two rest in peace, and one continue to live his best life with his forever mom) and so I open my home to boarding knowing that my current boys are already okay with new members. If you have any questions please reach out! I work from home five days a week. I work from home full-time and can navigate my schedule most days by the needs of the pack. Without a doubt they can go outside whenever they need. At most during the week I could leave the house from 1-3 hours. I will sometimes need to leave the house for 2-6 hours at a time especially on weekends, but can arrange any accommodation that makes your pup comfortable – free, crate, room etc. All dogs are allowed on the couch and my bed, though not all will sleep on the bed at night. I make sure to have a dog bed available for each pup in the house and have crate options too if individual space makes your pup feel more comfortable. The house is set up so that all living is on the first floor, so there are only two stairs into the home and two stairs off of the deck. During the warmer months I have a dog door for free access to the fenced in yard. However, in the winter months I maintain taking the dogs out at regular intervals. All dogs will be fed safely alone so no issues are allowed to develop. All stairs inside are blocked off either by baby gate or doors (for my blind boy). Pack management is key to safety and with lots of experience I know I can navigate it well.

She reported what Seth did on the walks, wasn't afraid to ask questions/share concerns, and also helped out with some allergy reactions he was having on his skin. We also had some flight delays and she was able to help and make sure Seth was taken care of until we returned. Great communication and loved the videos of Seth's interaction with her children. About: I love all dogs but am especially fond of the giant breeds.🔅WILLING TO TRAVEL OUTSIDE OF RADIUS SHOWN🔅 I am mid 30s and I've always connected with dogs. I recently lost my dog after 13 years of spoiling her. She was our perfect dog, a bullmastiff boxer and a princess, so I know all about finicky dogs. I trained her as a puppy and we always got complimented on how well behaved she was. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pup and worry about them, I used to leave long lists of instructions for our girl and love it when I got text updates of her, so I will do the same for you. When we spoil them it speaks to the depth of our love for them, and that's something special to not entrust with just anyone. So if you have a "diva" or a "prince" I'm your gal. 😁 I miss being around a dog but I am not able to commit to my own right now, so I'd love to give your dog lots of cuddles and spoil them for you while you are away. I do not offer care in my own home or care for dogs dealing with incontinence because things are too fresh still. I do not offer care for dogs with aggression issues either. I feel it's important to make sure both the dog and I are comfortable, and therefore require a meet and greet to make sure it's a good fit. I work from home so I will be able to care for them and cuddle lots throughout the day. I will need to leave briefly in the evenings, but for the most part will be there with them. If your dog is trained to be off leash, I am comfortable with that as long as we do a meet and greet and you show me their responsiveness when called back. I am also fine with taking them out on a leash or letting them into a fenced yard, whatever is their norm. If hired for dog walking I'd prefer to do a meet and greet and go on a walk with you and the dog so you can show me their route and preferences to ensure we are both comfortable

About: I’ve had cats my whole life and had a golden retriever growing up. I hope to one day get another dog. I will take good care of your furry friends! I am a teacher and mornings are not generally an option but I’m free in the afternoons and evenings and on the weekends, can be flexible! I will always make sure that your pet’s environment is safe while you are away and that all food and water and toys are available! Will give them extra love free of charge!

About: Ever since the family cat had kittens when I was four years old, I have been drawn to the care of animals. Honoring the lives of pets as our friends has been a source of inspiration and therapy for myself personally. As a working artist, taking the time to care for animals has been such a privilege and the perfect change of pace while I continue to work on creative projects. I have a German Shepherd that I keep separated from the work I do with other animals. I am located at a small farmhouse in Augusta that has a huge yard with two a-joining fields. There is more than enough room to explore the surround with your pet. I am also an avid walker so exercise is big for me generally.

About: I’ve had pet dogs and cats since I was 5 years old. I’ve always loved taking care of them, and being someone that they can rely on. Caring for animals is a big part of my life and something I hope to be forever passionate about! I am working full-time for the summer. I am a college student who will be going back to part time in the fall to finish my last year. I’m mostly free in the evenings and on odd days during the week since I work a rotating schedule. The fall will look different as I’ll be working part-time while also going to school! I’ve been handling large dogs since I was a young teenager, so I’m very comfortable with all types of breeds. I’d consider myself very gentle when it comes to animal care.

About: I love being outdoors and exploring, so I would be happy to take your best friend wherever their heart desires. I have always grown up with pets, and I currently have two pups, Kona and Angie. Safety and following owner's requests are always my number one priority, followed by fun! My availability fluctuates some on the weekends, but I currently own my own business and attend college online making my schedule very flexible and accommodating during the weekdays.
