About: I have had dogs and taken care of dogs and cats since childhood. In my more recent years I have dog sat for family members and neighbors. I have enjoyed being able to give peace of mind to them knowing their pets are safe, happy, and cared for. Owning a dog and cat myself I understand the stress and fear of having to leave your pets. Whether it’s work, vacation and other life events it can feel like you’re leaving a piece of your heart behind while you’re away. I strive to bridge that gap and be able to provide peace of mind. My dog is a rescue and came to me with some behavioral challenges: fear, reactivity, resource guarding and separation anxiety. Since being with me he is a thriving boy with manners and is learning new skills and tricks every week! That being said I don’t scare easily and have experience managing a variety of behaviors. I know from experience leaving a pet that has some big feelings at times can be even more challenging and thats where I come in. To offer you peace of mind knowing your dog or cat will be safe and cared for with me. I firmly believe in the saying no bad dogs and would love to get the opportunity to take one worry off your plate while you are away! I have summers off and am able to be around as much or as little as needed for your pet in the summers as that is a busy time for vacations. I do structured schedules with play, train walk and rest times with pets. I can also create scheduled enrichment times throughout our time together. I try to cater what we are doing based on needs of the dog so they are fulfilled.

About: Hello! I am new to Rover but I have been working with animals all my life from a very young age and I have been pet sitting for about 4 years. There were always pets in the home, mostly dogs and cats all my life and I have thorough experience being around animals and knowing how to take care of them. I took a major part in taking care of the puppies that my family bred most of my childhood, I have experience in working with a variety of animals such as dogs, cats, reptiles, roosters/chickens, horses, guinea pigs, etc. Besides working with my own pets I have been pet sitting for around 4 years now and have become very comfortable working with other peoples pets. I pride myself on my attention to detail and focus on making sure your pet/pets are as comfortable as possible. I am currently a student but most of my classes are online so I am very flexible and available pretty much every day of the week currently. I am able to be intuitive and approach every animal with the care and attention that is specific to their needs. I am sensitive to boundaries and always making sure to focus on listening to what they are communicating.

About: I’ve been around dogs of all sizes and temperaments since I was a small child. I’m a huge animal lover, and I have experience that ranges from puppies to senior dogs. Also experienced in some livestock care! I work part-time, so I have great flexibility in my schedule. I’m also available most weekends so I have plenty of time to play with your fur baby! I’m incredible attentative and responsible (this includes duty pick up!), knowledgeable on walking dogs of various temperaments and levels of reactivity. Also experienced with a variety of “no-pull” harness styles.

It's obvious that he's great with dogs, and from his Rover reports and the pup's behavior when I got home from work, it was clear Ricky spent some good time and energy with him. About: Ever since the family cat had kittens when I was four years old, I have been drawn to the care of animals. Honoring the lives of pets as our friends has been a source of inspiration and therapy for myself personally. As a working artist, taking the time to care for animals has been such a privilege and the perfect change of pace while I continue to work on creative projects. I have a German Shepherd that I keep separated from the work I do with other animals. I am located at a small farmhouse in Augusta that has a huge yard with two a-joining fields. There is more than enough room to explore the surround with your pet. I am also an avid walker so exercise is big for me generally.

About: I am just a young 18 year old kid that loves dogs and is looking to spend some more time with them. While also making some money! I am currently taking online classes at the University of Maine Orono and am looking for a part-time job like this to make some money at the same time. About: I know dogs need exercise, discipline, and affection. I know it can be challenging to find the right pet care that is trustworthy and reliable. I’ll do my best to give your pet the care they need! I am a massage therapist for part of the week and I homeschool my children when I’m not working. My schedule is somewhat flexible and I have extra time to fill here and there with pet care. I will feed, walk, or give your animals attention based on clients request and animals requirements. Whether it’s In the yard, taking them for a walk or just sitting petting them, I’ll give them what they need.
